Syfte med denna uppsats är att undersöka hur personalen på två gruppbostäder, enligt Lagen om stöd och service till vissa funktionshindrade, utformar stöd gentemot de boende på gruppbostäderna. Avgränsningen är dragen till att undersöka matsituationen där denna är uppdelad i de fyra delarna: planering, inhandling, matlagning och måltiden som social konstruktion. Det empiriska materialet har samlats in genom kvalitativa intervjuer med personal från gruppbostäderna och fokus är att undersöka huruvida de boende får vara delaktiga och självbestämmande i matsituationen. Det framkommer i undersökningen att förhållandet mellan boende och personal är komplext och att personalen påverkar de boende på explicita såväl som implicita sätt. Då stödet som erbjuds till stor del grundar sig i en normalisering så påverkas de boende bland annat till att tillaga varierad kost samt att äta nyttig mat.

Today, we use BKR and BBK 04 when designing concrete structures inSweden, which will, in the near future, be replaced by Eurocode 2. When you are designing buildings, you will use Eurocode 2 Part 1-1 and with this new standard, some new rules and general rules will be necessary to adopt. To examine how BKR and BBK 04 tells apart from Eurocode 2 when designing concrete structures, one beam and one column with often common dimensions, is studied. The beam is designed with consideration of (considerate to) durability at bending moments, shear forces and control of cracking. The column is designed with consideration of durability at eccentric axial load and bending moments in cross section on account of (due to) geometric imperfections. BBK 04 has gone one step closer to Eurocode 2 than earlier editions and the things that are different, when calculating reinforcement, is how they use the partial factors.

År 1994 fastställdes en ny lag som kom att heta Lagen om stöd och service för vissa funktionshindrade. I och med denna lag förändrades bland annat yrkesrollen för personal som arbetar på boenden för personer med funktionsnedsättningar. Från att personalen haft en mer vårdande roll blev den nu mer stöttande i individens utveckling mot ett så självständigt liv som möjligt. Den nya lagen innebar också att ett större krav skulle ställas på personalen och dennes kompetens för arbetet. Det blev arbetsgivarens uppgift att se till att personal med rätt kompetens arbetar inom yrket och att de som saknar väsentlig kunskap ska få denna genom utbildning.Även om förändringar har genomförts inom dessa verksamheter, går det att idag se att utvecklingen inte skett så snabbt som den borde ha gjort.

The aim of this undergraduate thesis was to examine the media?s portrayal of overweight and obese children and their surroundings, using the first and third dimensions of Fairclough?s three dimensional model for critical discourse analysis. The study addressed the following questions: How does the press, in this study represented by two newspapers, portray overweight and obese children? What discourses regarding overweight and obesity among children are the most prominent in these two newspapers? What risks and negative influences in the child?s surroundings are identified, and how are they described? What social representations can the images of overweight and obese children originate from? The analyzed material consisted of 62 articles from Dagens Nyheter and Aftonbladet, which were analyzed using the earlier mentioned method for discourse analysis, as well as the theory of social representations. The results showed that ?the fat child? and its environment were portrayed exclusively in negative terms, and a discourse linking obesity and ill-health dominated a large part of the material.

HAFA Bathroom Group has given us the assignment to develop a standardized back panel for their bathroom cabinets. This cabinet is going to be applied to most of their current and future cabinet solutions. To this point, they have constructed unique suspensions-and back panels for most of their cabinet models. They have also been forced to pull wiring and assemble the cabinets differently because of factors like; position of the wall sockets, dimensions of the cabinets and their shapes.The company wants to distance themselves from their current solution, firstly because the cost of having manpower to design each individual suspension solution, secondly because they will save a lot of money when the manufacturing process requires a minimum of components to be constructed. As a result of this, the company can use their resources better to develop future products.The main idea is that the consumer isn?t required to change the suspension or back panel when they decide to buy a new cabinet.

This thesis aims to describe and characterise the impact of the Kurdish question for Turkey's decision-making process and foreign relations from the 1980's until today. The Kurdish question as perceived by Ankara, is separatist, and poses a security threat to the entire country but has also international dimensions, which are responded with foreign policy actions by Turkey. Initially, a systemic view is considered in order to investigate Turkey's position in this issue in a global perspective. Moreover, this is completed with an ?Internal Politics Perspective?(Joe D Hagan), which gives a deeper understanding of the actual structures and actors in Turkish domestic policy that shape the foreign policy.

The purpose of this Master?s thesis is to examine the relationship between fiction and resistance from a postcolonial and feminist perspective. More specifically, the study is an examination of this relationship in ten novels by the Nigerian writer Buchi Emecheta. The resistance is studied by examining the way it is depicted in the texts, as well as whether the texts can be seen as a form of opposition. Both the resistance and its context are studied.

Under de senaste åren har parkförvaltningarna runt om i landet drabbats av budgetnedskärningar. Detta medför att pengar måste sparas och ett sätt att uppnå detta kan vara att höja produktiviteten. Att höja den kommunala verksamhetens produktivitet kan även vara aktuellt eftersom stor del av arbetsdagen många gånger inte utnyttjas till effektiv arbetstid. Syftet med arbetet att ge förslag på vad man kan göra för att höja produktiviteten i en parkförvaltning med parkarbetarens insats som utgångspunkt. Frågeställningar: 1 Hur kan man öka personalens motivation till mer produktivt arbete? 2 Vad kan ledning respektive personal göra för att arbetet ska bli mer produktivt? Arbetet berör huvudsakligen ämnen som motivation och ledarskap.

This work is a study of subject teachers in social studies and science understand the concept of sustainable development. The work uses a qualitative and a quantitative approach. Teachers in various schools and stages have been answering questions about how they perceive sustainability, how they implement it in teaching and if they feel that school is important for the future of sustainable development at large.The theoretical background is based on environmental ethics as well as the different meanings and definitions of the concept of sustainable development. These theories and definitions are coupled with the empirical results.The study concludes that all teachers throughout the study perceive the concept of sustainable development as something ecological, something that has to do with nature. A few teachers also state economic and social dimensions.Questions about how the teachers in the study implement the concept in their teaching can be seen as three different approaches.

Syftet med arbetet har varit att nå kunskap om mångkultur i förskolan genom att undersöka hur personal reflekterar kring kulturmöten och hur de säger sig arbeta i sin verksamhet. Vi har valt att utgå från det sociokulturella perspektivet där man lär sig i samspel med andra. För att ett samspel ska uppstå behöver kulturmöten vara inkluderande. I litteraturdelen har vi tagit upp olika faktorer som rör kulturmöten i förskolan. Faktorer som vi tar upp som är viktigt för barns utveckling och kulturtillhörighet är språket, identiteten och föräldrasamarbetet.

The purpose of this Master?s thesis is to study howuniversity librarians in a South African context relate to theconcept of information literacy. We investigated differencesand similarities in approaches to user education andinformation literacy. We have based our study on thefollowing research questions: What are the prerequisites foruser education at the University of the Western Cape? Howdo these prerequisites influence librarians' approaches toinformation literacy and user education at the University ofthe Western Cape? We have used a sociocultural theoreticalperspective and Hofstede's cultural dimensions in orderto pay particular attention to the cultural and social contextof user education.

At the Division of Electricity at UppsalaUniversitythere are ongoing researches, including a research concerning turbo generators.Turbo generators produce a large share of electricity in the world; however they are costly mainly due to the fact that the cooling and ventilation that are needed to eliminate the excess heat from the generators are expensive. Turbo generators work with high efficiency and in this project, the main task is to simulate a generator while taking into account that the generator must be designed against self-oscillation, centrifugal force, exhaustion and heat. The turbo generator must be simulated without being too expensive and complicated.In this project, the dimensions of the turbo generator depend on the efficiency of it, and where the losses are in the generator. Furthermore, the optimum values need to be chosen with the help of the ACE simulation program. The report begins with an introduction describing the project followed by a task description that is dealing with the project.

Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka hur personal inom daglig verksamhet i en av Göteborgs stadsdelar, ser på samt arbetar utifrån den gemensamt uppsatta värderingen: Att arbeta med varje enskild arbetstagares bästa i centrum, utifrån dennes förutsättningar och förmågor. Personalens förhållningssätt gentemot arbetet med och för arbetstagarna har även varit i fokus.Följande frågeställningar har fungerat som hjälp vid strävandet efter att uppnå syftet:? Vad innebär det för personalen att sätta varje enskild arbetstagares bästa i centrum och vilka arbetsmetoder använder de för detta? ? Hur arbetar personalen utifrån varje enskild arbetstagares förutsättningar och förmågor? ? Vilket/vilka förhållningssätt till arbetet med och för arbetstagarna finns hos personalen?Vi har använt oss utav en kvalitativ metodstrategi vid genomförandet av denna uppsats. Empirin har samlats in genom åtta intervjuer med personal från den undersökta stadsdelens dagliga verksamhet. Som analysredskap har vi använt oss av följande teorier och teoretiska begrepp för att lyfta fram olika aspekter och belysningspunkter i vårt insamlande material: Salutogent perspektiv & KASAM; Beroende, Autonomi & Självbestämmande; Bemötande samt olika former av socialt stöd.

Bakgrund: Allt fler väljer att vårda sin anhöriga i hemmet och därför ökar behovet av ett fungerande stöd för den närstående som fungerar som vårdgivare. Närståendevårdare behöver ett stöd för att klara av att vårda i hemmet. Det är upp till professionell hälso- sjukvårds personal att ge dem detta stöd. Syfte: Att belysa vilket professionellt stöd närstående efterfrågar i deras vårdande av en person i ett palliativt skede i hemmet Metod: Systematisk litteraturstudie, baserad på tidigare forskning. Resultat: Resultatet visar att närståendevårdare efterfrågar Stöd i att få leva sina egna liv, stöd i att vara beredd på framtiden och Stöd för att kunna hantera situationen.

The purpose with this essay is to look at how categories of "us" and "them" are created, reproduced and categorised. The areas of politics and media are in focus, though they are powerful and influential actors in generating discourses.The method is qualitative analyses of current research and analyses of discourses, contexts and resources from an intersectional perspective. Intersectionality presents a theoretical tool for complex understandings of power as it takes its point of departure in an understanding of power as multidimensional and one where gender, ethnicity and class are constitutive and bearing principals. Intersectional analyses aim to understand how these dimensions are created and changed in relation to each other and how they interact with specific gender orders in specific contexts.The analyse shows that "immigrants" are in a subordinate position compared to "Swedish" when it comes to resources, contexts and discourses. The analyse indicates the relation of power between "us" and "them", where "us" have the power and with that preferential right of interpretation in discourses, contexts and resources.
