The purpose of this dissertation is to create an understanding of how a personal idea in the mind of an entrepreneur becomes an outspoken vision in one biotech company. More specifically, for what purpose the vision is used at different stages, how it is communicated, its content and what impact previous visions have on future vision work and in order to reach a deeper understanding of how vision develops over time and how it is used we have employed a qualitative approach based on a case study. The theoretical framework starts with the concept of vision and related concepts. Furthermore, the entrepreneur?s and manager?s usage of vision is examined.

Thoughts regarding death may cause a personal crisis which can have negative influences on the patient?s social, mental and spiritual state. Most people with pancreatic cancer are diagnosed in a late stage of the disease.

Föreliggande studie syftade till att belysa vilka negativa reaktioner en organisationsförändring kan orsaka. För att undersöka hur detta upplevdes intervjuades fem personalansvariga. De personalansvariga intervjuades enskilt i en semistrukturerad intervju. En deduktiv kvalitativ ansats valdes i kombination med en teoristyrd tematisk analys. De negativa reaktioner som förelåg var oro i form av anställningsotrygghet.

The European bison is a species which is no longer present in the wild fauna of Sweden. Reintroduction has been proposed in several different forums. Reintroduction is an attempt to reestablish a viable population of a species in an area to which it is native. To make such an operation successful in the long run it is essential to know the attitudes of the stakeholders involved. This study has sensed the attitudes towards reintroduction of European bison to Sweden.

BAKGRUND: Att arbeta med hälsofrämjande insatser är att effektivt sätt att minska ohälsosamma levnadsvanor hos individer med psykisk funktionsnedsättning. Personal som arbetar hälsofrämjande kan aktivt förebygga risker hos funktionsnedsatta och motivera dem till en förändrad livsstil.   SYFTE: Syftet med vår uppsats var att ta del av hur personal som arbetar med individer med psykisk funktionsnedsättning upplever en hälsointervention. Vi ville ta del av deras upplevelser och tankar kring utbildningar de gått och hur de sedan går tillväga för att motivera individerna till att leva ett hälsosammare liv, genom att stärka egenmakten hos individen för att uppnå resultat till en förändring av ohälsa. Vi vill också ta del av deras upplevelser av motiverande samtal som pedagogisk metod i arbetet och hur personalen använder sig av metoden för att motivera individerna på boendena och att hjälpa dem under förändringsprocessen. METOD: För att få reda på personalens upplevelser av hälsointerventionen genomfördes en fallstudie på två boenden, där deltagarna fått utbildning i motiverande samtal och tips på enkla aktiviteter som kan ha stor betydelse i de boendes/individernas vardag för att göra det enklare att välja mer hälsosamma alternativ.

The purpose of this thesis is, through both a quantitative and qualitative study, to map out how the interaction appears between the established parties and the radical right-wing party, the Sweden Democrat?s (SD) and their core issue ? immigration in the Swedish parliament. By applying analytical dimensions on the parliamentary protocols regarding the immigration issue between the years of 2010-2012 this study will get an insight on how the argumentation concerning immigration has developed since their entrance into the Swedish parliament in 2010. The result shows that SD, through the rejection treatment of the established parties, fulfilled the three conditions which accordingly to the study's theoretical framework are crucial for the party's future success. In the established parties? reception of SD regarding immigration, SD is, to a large extent, left unchallenged as the established parties rather focus on integration instead of challenge SD in the immigration issue.

Hofstede constructed a culture dimension called Power Distance, measuring the inequality of Power. Germany and Sweden have relatively similar values according to his world-renowned research. But a series of interviews of Swedish entrepreneurs in Germany shows that these perceive a large difference in inequality of power in the two countries. This essay seeks to explain the difference between these subjective-qualitative experiences and the objective-quantitative data of Hofstedes Power Distance Index. We propose that a combination of differences in communication, exercise and visibility of power and formality influence the way Power Distance is perceived.

En kvalitativ intervjuunderso?kning gjordes med sex deltagare och analyserades sedan genom en tolkande fenomenologisk analys (IPA). Fyra huvudteman med tillho?rande tva? underteman var valdes ut.

Vårt syfte med denna studie har varit att studera sambandet mellan delaktighet och livskvalitéhos de äldre på ett äldreboende samt hur personal och ledning arbetar för att främjalivskvaliteten genom delaktighet.Frågeställningv? Hur ser de äldre på sin delaktighet?v? Hur ser de äldre på sin livskvalitet?v? Hur ser personal och enhetschef på möjligheten i att främja de äldres livskvalitetgenom delaktighet?v? Hur påverkas de äldres livskvalitet av deras möjlighet till delaktighet?Vi har använt oss av kvalitativ metod i form av semistrukturerade intervjuer med de äldre,personal samt enhetschef. Den tidigare forskningen vi studerat rör åldrande, livskvalitet ochdelaktighet. I vår analys har vi applicerat det salutogena perspektivet, empowerment ochaktivitetsteorin.Vårt resultat visar att den äldres livskvalitet i hög utsträckning påverkas av möjligheten tilldelaktighet. Delaktighet tar sig uttryck på olika sätt där återkommande teman har varit;delaktighet i fysiska aktiviteter, fysisk delaktighet i sin egen omvårdnad samt inflytande översin egen omvårdnad.

I have with this thesis sought to understand how chick lit could be useful in the classroom in the teaching of Swedish B-course in high school. Based on the model of critical literacy I am arguing that this genre would help to meet the objectives of the policy documents which, among other things, are to critically examine and analyze various types of texts.I have found that some of these texts could be used for analyzing and critically examine the ideological dimensions of texts and cultural heritage by the model of critical literacy, and also as a counterweight to the more traditional teaching of the canonical literature as a literary historical stuff that students should learn. I have also wanted to create a basis for discussions about literature in the classroom based on the chick lit genre. To do this I have, based on three themes and questions from the model of critical literacy, tried to focus on issues that might emerge from the ideological analysis and critical review. The model aims to deconstruct norms of society, and in the work of chick lit, I wanted to show how you could deconstruct norms around gender..

Background: Men that have gone through treatment for prostate cancer may lose their sexuality as result of treatment. The sexual ability might symbolize manliness, despite age and sexual activities. Aim: The aim of the literature study was to describe; Influence on sexuality and the daily life for men with prostatecancer and their experience of informationneeds. Method: The material for the literature study was searched through databases; 13 scientific articles were selected and two articles through manual search, all 15 articles were examined. Result: Five categories were found in the result of the literature study; physical dimension, emotional/mental dimension, social/practical dimension and informationneeds.

This thesis describes a system for dealing with free surface fluid simulations, and the components needed in order to construct such a system. It builds upon recent research, but in a computer graphics context the amount of available literature is limited and difficult to implement. Because of this, the text aims at providing a solid foundation of the mathematics needed, at explaining in greater detail the steps needed to solve the problem, and lastly at improving some aspects of the animation process as it has been described in earlier works. The aim of the system itself is to provide visually plausible renditions of animated fluids in three dimensions in a manner that allows it to be usable in a visual effects production context. The novel features described include a generalized interaction layer providing greater control to artists, a new way of dealing with moving objects that interact with the fluid and a method for adding source and drain capabilities..

The purpose of this thesis was to investigate thephenomenon language café, an activity that is held in public libraries into which anyone is welcome who wants to practice their skills in Swedish, and see how this can be put in relation to integration. To reach the purpose we developed two research-questions; What does the language café fulfill for its participants? and How can the language café contribute to the promotion of integration? The study is based on semi-structured interviews with seven participants from language cafés. The theory used to analyze the results from the interviews is the Swedish sociologist José Alberto Diaz theory about the integration process which can be divided into seven dimensions. The findings of the thesis were that the language café can fill the function as a place to Speak Swedish, for Community-information, a place to meet and a place for trust and self-confidence.

Goffmans dramaturgiska modell med fokus på intrycksstyrning används för att förklara den arbetssökandes beteende som sedan kan kopplas till rekryterarens reaktioner vilka leder till beslut. I uppsatsen presenteras även hur litteraturen ser ut om hur en rekryterare bör gå tillväga när hen ska nyanställa personal. En kvalitativ insamlingsmetod genom intervjuer har använts för att undersöka småföretagares subjektiva uppfattningar och agerande när de rekryterar.
