This thesis deals with the question of why the Swedish Academy Dictionary has its own Library when, for almost a hundred years, it has been located at the University Library of Lund. Looking at the library functions: librarian, users, room and books and their external factors: economy, internal actors, external actors and the development of the Swedish Academy Dictionary helped to shed light upon which relations between these factors have been important in the development of the library. The results show that there has not been a conscious plan behind the Library. A large number of the books in the Library was given by those who have worked at the Dictionary and also by their friends and collegues. Another part was given by the Swedish Academy and was partly gathered when the project was still in Stockholm.

Over the period as a student at the Master's Program for Educational Leadership, I have learned thatsometimes the participants School?s management shows concern regarding the purpose of studyingat such a program. The curiosity of what that might devolve upon got me to immerse myself in theapproach to and attitude towards competence development within educational leadership.The essence of what I wanted to examine was how the students from the above mentioned Master'sProgram perceived the treatment they received from supervisors and colleagues and if it waspossible to explain the attitude that the participants in the study reported. I also wanted to examinewhat issues, related to competence development and leadership within the school system, highlightsthe treatment of participants in educational leadership.The results are based on questionnaires and interviews and are divided into four categories; thesupportive, the unaffected, the discouraged and finally a side category to explain how to handle thediscouraged?s lack of support.

Den palliativa vården av personer med demens är inte optimerad. Studier visar att det dels beror på demenssjukdomen som är svår att vårda och dels för att stöd till de personer som vårdar sina anhöriga och det sociala kommunala nätverket har brister.Syfte: Att analysera upplevelsen av given vård i livets slutskede hos personer med demensdiagnos ur personalens och anhörigas perspektiv.Metod: Metasyntes utförd med Howell Major och Savin-Badins analysmodell, Qualitative Research Synthesis.Resultat: Kunskap och personcentrering var de två begrepp som blev produkten av syntesen. Begreppen fungerar som motsatser, om det finns kunskap och personcentrering så finns en bra upplevelse av given vård hos personal och anhöriga och om det brister i kunskap och personcentrering blir upplevelsen sämre.Diskussion: Kunskap om demens bland personal har i syntesen visats vara en indikator för god vård vid livets slut. Utbildning i demenssjukdom bör ske kontinuerligt och på olika nivåer beroende på vilken personalkategori som utbildas.Konklusion: Palliativ vård och demens måste få utrymme i utbildningarna av all personal, från undersköterska till specialistläkare..

Syftet med den här undersökningen är att undersöka hur personal i förskolan arbetar med relationsskapande och vilken betydelse samspel har i verksamheten. Det är en kvalitativ undersökning där både enkäter och observationer har använts på fem olika förskolor i Sverige för att synliggöra personalens arbetssätt kring relationer och samspel. Resultatet visade att samspel och relationer har en betydande roll för barns utveckling och lärande. Några begrepp som personalen beskrev som värdefulla för att relationer ska byggas och utvecklas var trygghet, lyhördhet, delaktighet och att utgå ifrån varje individ. En slutsats är att relationer är en ständigt pågående process i förskolans verksamhet och att samspel har en betydande inverkan på relationers utveckling..

To have a functioning organization where there is a self-development for employees them selves, as well as between managers and employees, where employees are empowered and work for the organization and its goals. Feedback seems to be the main instrument to solve problems and create that organization. At the Military Academy Karlberg and the basic officers training there is a lot of discussions about feedback and how it is supposed to be carried out. This essay discusses the matter of how well we live up to the demands set by leadership classes at the Military Academy, what the platoon leaders do think about how feedback takes its expression. The questions about how feedback is used are to be answered by interviews with five platoon leaders and their thoughts about how feedback is communicated at the Academy.

The aim of this essay is to find some of the main developing tendencies in the advertisement genre during the period of 1930-2000. The analysis is based on three examples of Gevalia cinema and TV-advertisement. Research findings are the result of using theories from different but relevant sciences, which are media, linguistics and rhetoric. Media studies help to explain the influence of the society and technology development on the advertising business. Linguistics and rhetoric give the main methods and terminology for the basic as well as comparing analyses of the three advertisements in question.

Datainsamlingen genomfördesi fokusgruppsintervjuer och materialet har analyserats med en kvalitativ innehållsanalys.Resultat: Ur analysen framkom det övergripande temat enönskan att känna trygghet under enimplementeringoch fyra kategorier; kommunikation, planering och målsättning,förändringsbenägenhetoch kompetensutveckling som beskriver akutsjuksköterskorsupplevelser av implementeringen av ett förbättringsarbete.Slutsats: Under en implementering behöver ledningen ha kunskap om ovanstående resultat.Sjuksköterskorna beskriver åtgärder för att skapa möjligheter och undanröja hinder för attkunna uppnå trygghet under implementeringen. The purpose of this study is to contribute to our knowledge about what methods? teachers say they use in the work with pupils? early reading acquisition, and how they evaluate the pupils´ reading development. I also like to find out what educational interventions teachers believe that pupils with reading difficulties need, and how they say they work to meet the needs of these pupils. The project is based on the following questions: What methods do teachers say they use in the work with pupils early reading acquisition? What extra resources do teachers consider that pupils with reading difficulties need? How do teachers evaluate children's reading development? In order to answer my questions, I've done qualitative interviews with three teachers, at two schools, in two medium-sized municipalities.

With the United States acting as the driving force behind this technological advancement, the U.S Air Force and intelligence agency CIA have madedrones their weapon of choice for pursuing suspected terrorists and insurgents in various remotelocations. American military leaders and policy makers assert that the armed drone?s high levelof accuracy make it the best available weapons platform for this task.
