Antalet ensamkommande barn ökar, både i Sverige och i övriga Europa. Trots det finns det inga tydliga riktlinjer för hur arbetet med barn som fått permanent uppehållstillstånd ska se ut. Tidigare forskning tar upp resilience som en viktig aspekt i samband med ensamkommande barn. Teorin resilience handlar om förmågan att återhämta sig och att man når ett tillfredsställande resultat trots erfarenheter av situationer som innebär en risk att utveckla psykosociala problem. Vårt syfte med uppsatsen var därför att undersöka om personalens arbete leder till att öka barnens resilience. För att studera detta ville vi ta reda på vilka egenskaper hos barnen som personalen ser som viktiga för en sund utveckling och hur personalen stöttar dem att tillvarata sin inre styrka.

This degree project has been performed along with Classic Garden in Gothenburg andBallongfirman Far & Flyg in Stockholm. Together we have developed a sun- wind- andrain protection. The protection is permanently assembled and mainly intended for publicenvironments as restaurants and outdoor cafés.The design on the sun protection was already done so our task has been to develop theconstruction and to build a prototype in scale 1:4 and one in scale 1:1. The look of thesun protection is approximately as the name implies, equal an igloo. The lamellae aregoing to fold out in different steps all the way down to the ground and the both sides willbe independently of each other.The first stage in the project was to develop differently principle proposal on how thefunction will work when folding in and out the protection.

AimThe aim of this study was to map the injury panorama of traumatic injuries related to ice hockey in Sweden 2006-2011. In addition to that the aim was to compare whether there were any gender differences regarding traumatic ice hockey injuries. MethodThe present study was based on data from the Folksam insurance company between 2006 and 2011. The population consisted of ice hockey players in a club affiliated to the Swedish Ice Hockey Federation and that had sustained a traumatic injury related to ice hockey that resulted in medical care and then was reported to Folksam. The results are presented with descriptive statistics such as mean and standard deviation, median range and frequencies. ResultsThe head was the most common injury localization followed by the upper extremity where the shoulder accounted for a high number of injuries. Fracture was the most common type of injury for both male and female players.

The post-modern western city is going through two central changes in the organization of paid labour. One is the switch from production of goods to production of services, and the other is the increasing rift between well-paid labour with permanent jobs, and temporarily employed workers with low wages. Both of these processes are rasified and gendered, and strike harder against women, young persons and people of emigrant background. The flexible capitalism creates an informalization of the economy, breaking with earlier regulations of the labour markets, in which workers also need to find informal strategies in their individual and collective struggles. In this paper, I search for these ?new? experiences of living and working in late capitalist society, by doing open interviews with three women of Latin-American origin, working without official permission (without documents) in the informal economy of Stockholm.

Kronisk hjärtsvikt är ett permanent tillstånd där hjärtat har svårigheter att upprätthålla en tillräcklig slagvolym. I Sverige är det ungefär 250 000 personer som lever med sjukdomen och antalet personer med sjukdomen förmodas öka i framtiden. Målsättningen för behandlingen är att lindra symtom, reducera symtomens bakomliggande orsaker och förbättra livskvaliteten. Om sjuksköterskan ger patienten en god patientutbildning får denne goda förutsättningar för att kunna utföra en bra egenvård. En bra egenvård kan resultera i reducerad risk för en försämring av sjukdomen samt ökad livskvalitet.

The purpose of this study is to investigate how twelve middle school teachers use educational tools and what influences their choice of educational tools in Swedish language writing instruction. To answer this purpose, three research questions were formulated: What does writing instruction look like for middle school students according to the teachers in the study? What influences teachers' choice and use of educational tools in writing instruction? What opportunities and challenges do teachers experience in Swedish language writing instruction when using different educational tools? Twelve teachers from variously sized municipalities and with different experiences participated in the study through purposive sampling and convenience sampling. The chosen method is qualitative semi-structured teacher interviews. To analyse the results, this study employs analytical tools from the sociocultural perspective, using concepts such as mediation, appropriation, the zone of proximal development, and scaffolding. The results show that both analogue and digital tools are used in the teachers' writing instruction. The choice of tools should be based on pedagogical considerations, with an emphasis on social interaction and collaboration during the learning process.

Stockholm is considered as a tourist destination which has a lot of offers to attract tourists and if it utilizes it water better it can give a wonderful and unique experiences and cold baths may become an image to it.The aim of this study is to shed light on the open-air swimming-baths and shores of Stockholm. Also how to use this advantage as it?s a city based on many islands, the purest water in Europe and this makes Stockholm as a destination a very attractive place for tourism. For a better understanding of our study, we have studied the quality and quantity to see how people began to exploit open-air swimming-baths throughout history everywhere in Europe and specifically of Stockholm city sea shore. We did a study on the history traditions of open-air swimming-baths and how it can be a tourist attraction through books and interviews, scientific articles and our personal observation, so that we can analyze how to develop sustainable tourism in the future and how Stockholm city can make development of opportunities for the future.

Fornföreningen Fibula on the Aland Islands contacts the author because its members want to create a museum.The purpose of this two years master?s thesis in Archive, Library and Museum studies is to shed light on what a museum really is. The research question I have answered is ?what is a museum and is this what Fibula really wants in their reconstructed Viking village??. Based on interview material, ethnographic field studies, relevant research in the subject and documents from Fibula, I have answered the research question.

Stockholm city has recently raised its ambitions for bicycle traffic, the goal is to achieve a larger andsafer bicycle traffic. But cyclists are more vulnerable on the roads than other vehicle users because of the lack of protection. This means that a large proportion of road safety for cyclists is based on the design of the traffic environment. Since most serious bicycle accidents are those that occur in conflict with motor vehicles, and the majority of these accidents occur at intersections, these areas are of great importance forcyclist?s safety.The  purpose  of  this  paper  is  to  highlight  bicycle  accidents  at  intersections  and  to  suggest improvements  in three accident-prone junctions  in Stockholm.  This is  achieved  by  the study of accident statistics, literature and finally three case studies.The literature study focused on cyclists, traffic safety and traffic safety measures.

Insjuknandet i hjärtinfarkt kommer ofta plötsligt och utan förvarning. Många som drabbas är friska sedan tidigare och insjuknandet innebär en förändrad livssituation för de drabbade. För kvinnor som drabbas av hjärtin- farkt är symtombilden ofta mer diffus än männens. Det medför svårigheter för kvinnorna att inse att de är sjuka och i behov av vård, vilket bidrar till att de söker vård senare än männen. Den försenade vården och behandlingen kan medföra sämre prognos för kvinnornas hjärtsjukdom.

ADHD (Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder) är genetisk neuropsykiatriskt funktionshinder som har på senare tid uppmärksammats med ökande antalet diagnoser. Primära ADHD symptom kan behandlas framgångsrikt med medicin, men för att behandla resterande symptom och få stöd med medicinering behövs det kompletterande psykoterapi. Situationer när vuxna med ADHD behöver hjälp uppstår hela tiden och personer med ADHD behöver en coach för att klara av vardagen. Kunskap om att ADHD har bestående symptom i vuxen ålder är ny och det finns behov av att utveckla nya metoder för behandling av vuxna med ADHD. De mest framgångsrika former av rehabilitering av personer med ADHD bedöms vara de med multiprofessionella insatser.

The employer and collective agreements bearing employee union are often involved in collaborative agreements to facilitate cooperation between them. Issues addressed to collaboration areoften questions related to employee participation. The purpose of this study is to investigate two local employers and related collective bearing employee unionsview of the cooperation agreement related to the MBL. The purpose leads to these questions:?How can co-operation agreements affect 11 and 19 § § MBL??What are theadvantages and disadvantages cooperation agreementscan lead to, regardingemployer disclosure and negotiation duty?To try to sort out these issues are interviews conducted to create a greater understanding of the work of the Cooperation Agreement between organizations and how it affects them.Results of the study suggest that collaboration agreement leads to simplifications in the work of the employer's information and bargaining duty.

This report focuses on the upper slit. The upper slit is located between the impeller andthe drive unit. The slit design depends on pump type and application. However it isuncertain why the design varies, The purpose of this report is to clarify why the designvaries and to recommend an improved slit design.A research has been done; information was gathered from interviews, but also fromsearching of databases and studies of drawings, reports and documents. The originalpurpose of the slit was to prevent twining around the driveshaft, and prevent dirt fromentering the cooling system.

Fårön ligger strax norr om Piteå centrum och nyttjas för fritidsboende, permanent boende och som ett ströv- och naturområde. Idag förbinds ön till fastlandet över det 140 meter breda sundet av en lång bank och en cirka 10 meter lång betongbro. Den långa banken hindrar vattenströmningen i sundet och bidrar till en ökad uppgrundning. Bron är så smal att inga fordon kan mötas och även cyklister och gångtrafikanter upplever det besvärligt med mötande trafik på bron. Syftet med detta examensarbete har varit att för tre broalternativ undersöka vattenföringen i sundet, broarnas arkitektur, konstruktionslösningar och ekonomi och sedan utifrån dessa fyra parametrarna bedöma vilket utan broalternativen som är bäst lämpat att bygga.
