The most common way to treat wastewater in Sweden today is by a combination of an activated sludge process and a chemical treatment. These processes are not very energy efficient and may not be the most environmentally friendly. That is why it is interesting to evaluate new alternative methods to see if they can be less harmful to the environment and help to a lower resource consumption. New techniques are tested in a pilot installation at Hammarby Sjöstad, Sjöstadsverket. To be able to evaluate these techniques in a wide perspective system analyses are conducted where different impacts can be considered, advantages and disadvantages in the systems.Five system structures for water treatment have been constructed in Matlab/Simulink in this study.

In this essay my aim is to examine how the term utanförskap is constructed and defined as a social problem in the public arena of the Swedish Parliament. The term utanförskap was widely used in the election-campaign prior to the Swedish Parliament election in the year 2006. The term, mainly articulated by the Right-wing Alliance, was used to describe indi-viduals and groups that were depicted as being outside the Swedish society. In the political debate, work and benefit dependency were constructed as binary opposites, with the latter describing the individuals in utanförskap. Translated to English the term utanförskap would be something like ?the state of being outside? or ?outsidership?.

Network RTK is a real-time technique for accurate positioning with Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS). The technology means the use of correction data from a network of GNSS receivers with known positions (reference stations) to reduce the uncertainty in position for the user´s GNSS receiver (rover). However, this requires that the correction data can be transferred seamlessly to the user in real time. Commonly the corrections are transferred via mobile phones. The Swedish National Land Survey operates a nationwide Network RTK service, where users can receive correction data via GSM or mobile Internet (GPRS).

Sports facilities are a highly unexplored field, and as of the autumn 2008 no research is being conducted about sports fields at Swedish architecture universities. Very few people recognize the sports field as an area for the architecture profession, and to gain more information about sports fields I have discussed the subject with people with connections to architecture and/or sport. The sports field represents a type of sports facility, a permanent football and/or bandy field surrounded by running tracks with appropriate measurements. Like the city?s physical environment, the sports field is a public place, where outdoor activities take place.

Växande städer och ekonomiska strukturomvandlingar ställer dagens stadsplanering inför nya utmaningar. Långa planeringshorisonter, rigida planer och ekonomisk stagnation kan leda till att mark står oexploaterad under lång tid. Detta faktum visar att det finns ett behov av nya, mer flexibla metoder för att kunna planera för en oviss framtid. Genom temporär användning kan underutnyttjad mark tillfälligt upplåtas för olika typer av verksamheter tills en permanent plan är möjlig att genomföra. Temporär användning tillåter outnyttjade stadsmiljöer att nyttjas och kan utgöra en resurs i planeringen.

I denna undersökning försöker jag synliggöra en folkgrupps identitet. Temat är: ?Bosnisk identitet 1992 ? 1995? Dvs. den identitet som skapades under kriget i Jugoslavien ? Bosnien och Hercegovina.

Many invasive species propose a big threat against the native fauna in the area that they colonise. Today the raccoon dog (Nyctereutes procyonoides) is speeding from Finland over the border in to northern Sweden. A project to stop the spread and eliminate the individuals that already have established was initiated in the autumn of 2008. To investigate areas that might be interesting for raccoon dogs and to confirm sightings, cameras with auto triggering mechanisms are used. To get the raccoon dog in front of the camera some kind of lure is used. In this study three kinds of different lures was tested against each other?s.

Grubbe Ventilation AB is a sheet metal and ventilation company who provides design, installation, service, and repair of ventilation. The company is expanding their business by building a new facility in Umeå, Västerbotten. The property is designed to be used for both office and industrial work.Grubbe Ventelation AB has not yet decided upon wish system which is to be established to provide the building with heating and cooling. The consulting firm Umeå Projekt Team has therefore been asked to investigate the possibilities to invest in geothermal- heating and cooling.If the investigation of a geothermal heating- and cooling system would provide favorable results it would be a very appropriate alternative that provides energy at low costs and are an environmentally friendly option as the energy comes from stored solar energy in the ground is provided by stored solar energy in the ground.The facility ´s heating and cooling consumptions are calculated in the program BV2 and the result indicate a heating demand of 185 000 kWh per year due to thermal transmittance, transmission losses, heating of warm water and a cooling requirement of 5500 kWh.Three different systems of geothermal heating and cooling were tested in the computer program Energy Earth Design. The results show no difference in the dimensioning of the drill hole if merely heating were to be used or both heating and cooling were to be established.

I Hudiksvalls kommun är förskolorna byggda på 70- och 80-talet och är i behov av renovering. Kommunen har kommit fram till att det är billigare att ersätta de gamla förskolorna med nya förskolor än att renovera de befintliga. Huvudsyftet med detta examensarbete är att göra en jämförelse mellan platsbyggda- och modulförskolor, för att få en klarare bild över vilken typ av förskola som är mest fördelaktig, med fokus på byggtekniska egenskaper som påverkar arbetsmiljön.I kommunen finns det så kallade ?flyttbara? förskolemoduler sen början av 2000-talet och en ny permanent modulförskola började byggas i januari 2012. De modulförskolor som redan fanns i kommunen kommer från två olika leverantörer.

Like several of her female peers, Marie Under (1883 - 1980) has been denied the international acclaim she deserves. The earliest text on Marie Under in swedish told of her greatness, but in classical fallic maner reduced her poetic production by marking it with pathological symtoms. Though latter texts by author Enel Melberg have put a feminist perspective on Unders work, the theoretical complexity of her poetic images and language, and its polemic relation to contemporary literary currents, has yet to be recognised. This study will seek to portrait Marie Under and her poetry in this new light.The study moves from an installation of Marie Under in the modern discourse she so far has been estranged from, to an analysis of her earlier works (in the 1910?s and 1920?s).

Detta examensarbete vänder sig till personer som är intresserade att använda nya miljövänligametoderna för elproduktion eller personer som redan använder små vindkraftverk ochsolpaneler med behovet av en extra energikälla i små stugor eller avlägsna platser där tillgångentill elnät är omöjligt. Syften i detta arbete är först och främst att bygga ett system förelproduktion med hjälp av en cykel. Sedan bestämma mängden av elektrisk energi en personkan alstra med systemet. Slutligen svara om detta system skulle kunna använda som ettstödsystem för elproduktion i småskalighet.Den första målsättningen är att utforma ett system med användning av kraftelektronik där denkraften som genereras matar lasterna. Den mekaniska delen kommer att konstrueras som en delav energikällan, därefter kommer det att utformas en kontroll för att styra effekten viaelektroniska komponenter, de elektriska belastningarna matas av systemet, kommer attsimuleras.

ur society is today in a phase of development in environmental and sustainable thinking. Alarming reports show changes in climate caused by our load and exhaust of resources. The energy usage contributes to a big part of it, by its emission of carbon dioxide. The built environment uses around 40 % of the total energy consumption in Sweden and requests to strongly reduce it are presented from both EU and national level.This thesis brings up the subject of green building with a focus on how we can create more energy efficient buildings in projects of new construction. Since the construction industry today often fails to pass on the knowledge between different projects, as a return of experiences, the construction company Skanska suggested the topic for this thesis.

A report has been made at a company in Borås at a company called ACG Nyström. Thecompany is today international and is marketing advanced equipment, systems and furthereducation to the manufacturing industry. A part of ACG Nyström?s production is a machinethey call Unimat. ACG Nyström doesn?t just stand for the actual production of the machine,but also for assembling and installation of the machine at the final customer.

Detta är en kvalitativ studie av unga som tidigare har levt gömda i Sverige men idag har permanent uppehållstillstånd. Insamlade av data har skett genom fem halvstrukturerade livsvärldsintervjuer med personer i åldern 11 ? 24 år, alla var dock 18 år eller yngre när de levde gömda. Syftet med studien är att få större kunskap om och inblick i hur det är att leva gömd och undersöka vilka konsekvenser detta får för de ungas livssituation idag. Vi vill öka förståelsen för gruppen unga som tidigare levt gömda men också undersöka vilka behov dessa unga kan tänkas ha och hur deras situation kan förbättras.

Syftet med den här C-uppsatsen har varit att undersöka vilka omständigheter som kan leda till att starta en permanent särskild undervisningsgrupp vid en waldorfskola. Jag har också genomfört intervjuer med fem waldorflärare vid samma skola för att få deras syn på denna särskilda undervisningsgrupp. I denna waldorfskola är antalet elever i behov av särskilt stöd ökande. Därför behöver de resurser skolan förfogar över utvecklas.Jag har fokuserat på frågeställningar rörande på vilka grunder en waldorfskola startar en särskild undervisningsgrupp samt hur elever väljs ut till deltagande i denna grupp. Vidare hur skolans personal kan främja elevernas grupptillhörighet och trygghet i den särskilda undervisningsgruppen och samtidigt i den egentliga klassen.
