Background: How a young woman approaches an abortion and how she handles its emotional impact is influenced by many factors. Mixed emotions about terminating a pregnancy are common to women of all backgrounds and circumstances. Aim: To illuminate young women´s experiences of abortions. Method: The study wasbased on literature from online databases and printed materials and involved the analysis of ten articles and one thesis. Result: Women contemplating abortion experience mixed emotions before, during, and after an abortion.

We also changed the script language from python to PHP.The search engine ability has been extended with three new search alternatives for a user to choose from. The aim of the study was to examine how Swedish tabloid journalism presented the contestants in the Swedish version of the reality show Idol 2009. We wanted to see which approaches tabloid news papers use when constructing the public identities of them. We have used text analysis to examine 37 articles and nine front pages with focus on the words, propositions, comparisons and parables that describe four of the contestants. In addition we have looked at myths and connotations shown in the pictures by using a semiotic analysis. The results show that the Swedish tabloids tend to describe the contestants in relation to their performances and personalities.

Bakgrund: Att opereras sätter patienten i en utsatt situation där personliga och kroppsliga gränser överskrids. Då patienten sövs har hon ännu mindre kontroll över vad som sker och den perioperativa sjuksköterskan blir den som måste bevara hennes värdighet och integritet. På flera intensivvårdsavdelningar kommunicerar personalen med den sövda patienten då de utgår ifrån att hon kan höra och minnas det som sägs även under anestesi. Detta synsätt är till synes inte lika utbrett inom operationsvården. Syfte: Syftet var att beskriva operationssjuksköterskors upplevelser av hur de upprätthåller den sövda patientens integritet och värdighet.

According to statistics, a significant increase in sickness has occurred in the public sector in recent decades in Sweden. Human therapeutic professions is the area where the illness is most prevalent. The purpose of this study was through a qualitative method and hermeneutic approaches explore how conscious six social workers in the social services are on stress and how they cope with it. Further it investigates and analyzes how these results affect their daily work.One important result due to stress is that the social workers ability to treat their clients is impaired and they are less able to be empathetic. Inadequacy in the work environment leads to a sense of insufficiency by social workers, and a reduced quality of life.

Introduktion Patientsäkerhet är en viktig del i arbetet med att upprätthålla en god kvalitet inom hälso- och sjukvården och inte minst inom riskfyllda områden som anestesi- och operationssjukvård. Operationsprocessen kan stödjas genom användandet av ett kliniskt informationssystem, ett så kallat operationsplaneringssystem. Vad som dock inte finns väl beskrivet är hur ett sådant här informationssystem skulle kunna bidra till en säkrare vård.Syfte: Syftet med studien var att beskriva processen och vilken betydelse ett operationsplaneringssystem hade för patientsäkerheten på en operationsavdelning utifrån personalens perspektiv.Metod: En empirisk studie med kvalitativ ansats genomfördes och analyserades med riktad innehållsanalys enligt Hsieh & Shannon. Tjugosex intervjuer genomfördes utifrån nio olika befattningar relaterade till operationsprocessen på tre olika sjukhus i mellersta och södra SverigeResultat: Processen av kirurgska ingrepp bestod av tre olika faser; planering, genomförande och uppföljning. Extern planering hanterades av kirurgisk avdelning eller mottagning.

The aim of this study is to investigate how preschool teachers reason about gender stereotypical and gender neutral toys and other material. I would also like to see how the pedagogues reason about gender segregation when it comes to toys. To investigate the issue, I have interviewed three pedagogues from different preschools. The results showed that the work procedures differed a bit from school to school, although they all wanted to achieve the same goal. A goal that our curriculum mention as well: Not to make a difference between boys and girls.

The essay is a text centred study of ten Young Adult Novels, in which Internet plays an essential part. The structure is put into light out of used narrative techniques of how to create stories and its construction elements. I compare the ten Young Adult novels to each other. My aim is to analyze the functions of the Internet motive in the chosen novels, using different approaches, and enlighten it with concerns to the new phenomenon that Internet is in society. Consequently the essay will also have a mimetic touch to it.The ten novels that I base the analysis on are written of both med and women and have both male and female as main fictive persons, and are from different parts of the world.

This thesis explores the role of gender perspectives in understanding power and power relations in Iron Age burial practices, focusing on two high-status female graves: Grave X from Tuna in Badelunda (Sweden) and the Vix burial (France). Through a comparative analysis of burial contexts, artefacts, and interpretations, the study examines how androcentric frameworks and contemporary gender norms have influenced archaeological discourse. Employing theories of gender, queer studies, and standpoint feminism, the research highlights the limitations of binary gender categorization and advocates for intersectional approaches. The findings challenge traditional stereotypes of passive female roles, emphasizing instead the active agency and complexity of women?s social identities in prehistoric societies..

Some people who recovered from exhaustion disorder report that their lives feel more meaningful after the disease than before, despite residual symptoms and difficulties. This experience of increased meaningfulness has been linked to sense of coherence, SOC. The research question was whether individuals with exhaustion disorder at onset has a weak SOC, and if there is a general increase towards a higher SOC value ??during the recovery process. In a cross-sectional study, data were gathered on the SOC value via the SOC 29 form.
