With starting point in the increasing ill-health in Swedish working life today, in form of for example absence due to sickness and early retirement pension, and the knowledge that the working environment effects peoples health in a big extent, I found it very interesting to inquire into how people within the working life experience health promotion and how this can be developed. A qualitative method was used to receive a deeper understanding for the employees? experiences and data was collected through semi structured interviews with employees on a bank called Ikanobanken, in Älmhult. The result shows, among other things, that respondents find responsibility and the opportunity to influence the learning processes and development important. It also became clear that the respondents find participation, motivation, communication and safety essential factors when related to changes in health behaviours.

This thesis emanates from the understanding that it is of importance that transgender-themed literature is indexed in accordance with how people who identify as trans name themselves and interpret the concept of trans. Based on interviews with representatives from controlled vocabularies and LibraryThing users who tag transgender-themed material, existing attitudes towards user influence in controlled vocabularies are described and the significance of tagging for transgender-themed material is looked into. With queer theory and postcolonial theory as its main framework the analysis looks at what possibilities there are for users to influence controlled vocabularies and explores possible strategies for a future library catalog that includes the voice of the Other. The study lands in the understanding that many of the resisting attitudes towards user influence within the systems for subject headings in fact lie in the systems? limitations.

This report describes an investigation of the indoor climate in two different workspaces. Since we a big part of our lives are staying indoors in artificial environments, and more particularly in our workplaces, we think it would be interesting to do this investigation. The technical solutions for air treatment systems began with simple natural systems without fans and where the thermal rise of the air applied. In modern time is technical air treating systems used to take care of the fresh air supply. This type of units can supply filtered air with the right temperature to the building. Well-functioning ventilation is essential to bring clean fresh air to the room and effectively remove impurities without sound- or draught problems. The indoor climate is relevant for the output capacity.

Germany has experienced low birth rates ever since the 1970s when they fell below the replacement levels of 2,1 children per woman. Since then, their birth rate has been around 1,5 children per woman, which has caused an overall aging population. The consequences of the declining birth rates is that the previous generations are becoming larger than the younger generations. This demographic shift raises concern about how its potential implications might affect different aspects of the country and its economy overall. The aim of this paper is to try to discern the dynamic between the share of the labor force in relation to total population, with the share of pensioners in relation to the total population.

Change is inevitable when software is built and deployed. It?s not particularly problematic to manage change if there is just one system. But in a large global IT organization, with several systems and people who develop, problems may arise. If organizations don?t control change, change will control the organization.

Syfte: Vårt syfte är att beskriva och analysera den nya typen av lån som kommit upp på den svenska marknaden, seniorlån. Vi kommer att undersöka villkoren för utlåning enligt de olika långivarna som handhar produkten seniorlån. Vidare kommer också en internationell jämförelse att göras med USA och Storbritannien där motsvarande produkt funnits längre än i Sverige. Metod:För att uppfylla vårt syfte har vi valt att använda oss av en abduktiv metod vilket har gjort att vi inte känt oss begränsade utan vi har både kunnat tillämpa den insamlade empirin samt studera teorier på ett bra sätt. Vår primärdata är insamlad genom intervjuer med berörda långivare samt genom en enkätundersökning till allmänheten.

Nature conservation on certified small private forest owners- a comparison between the two certification systems FSC and PEFC in southern Sweden Today two different certification systems are used in Sweden to certify forest, FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) and PEFC (Pan European Forest Certification). During the last years certification of forests in general and different certification systems have frequently been debated. FSC is a globally widespread system and about 10 million ha out of 23 million ha Swedish forest is FSC-certified. The FSC-standard is mainly used by major forest companies and to some extent also by smaller private forest owners. PEFC is a European system and about 2 million ha Swedish forests is PEFC-certified today.

Den första produktgruppen T4190 kommer inom en snar framtidatt börja produceras i Sverige.Syftet med arbetet är att ge förslag på hur lagring, hantering samt beställning av komponenterkan ske inom monteringsanläggningen för torktumlare för att uppnå ett effektivt monteringsarbete.Utifrån syftet har följande problemformulering utarbetats.? Hur kan komponenter hanteras och lagras på ett sätt som underlättar vid monteringenav torktumlare. Denna huvudfråga delar vi in i ett antal under frågor som:? Hur kan ingående komponenter lagras för att effektivisera tillverkningen av torktumlare?? Vilken lagertyp kan tillämpas?? Hur stora bör partistorlekarna vara för att uppnå effektiv tillverkning?? När och hur bör beställningen av komponenter ske?Med utgångspunkt i studiebesök i fabrikerna i Danmark och Sverige inhämtades relevantinformation genom egna observationer och intervjuer.

AbstractThis essay discusses different explanations and interpretations of what characterizes large areas containing clearance cairns (cairn fields). Results from the analyses show that there are different explanations about when and why cairn fields and clearance cairns occur. Explanations vary from introduction of the wooden ard in the early Bronze Age to the introduction of rational hay-making in the Roman Iron Age.  There is, anyway, relative agreement considering why and when cairn fields were abandoned. The reason suggested is an increasing pasturage with the consequence of reducing soil to poverty during the period of the Great Migration or in the Viking Age.The most likely cultivation system in cairn fields is a system consisting of both intensive and extensive characteristics. The latter coincides with the probable mobility of settlements.

Syftet med den här studien är att undersöka hur äldre människor hanterar övergången från arbetsliv till att bli pensionär. Undersökningen avser att besvara ett antal frågeställningar. Den första är att besvara hur individen hanterar pensionsövergången. Den andra frågeställningen är att besvara om det finns en relation mellan hur individen hanterar pensionsövergången och ett salutogent perspektiv utifrån Antonovskys teori, KASAM. Den tredje frågan som undersökningen ämnar besvara är hur individen upplever rollskiftet som uppstår när hon går i pension, då främst utifrån begreppen rollförväntningar, rollförlust samt rollkonflikt.

The Library of Uppsala University has decided to change their classification system from the Swedish SAB system to the American Dewey Decimal Classification. One of the main reasons for this decison was that Kungliga biblioteket also has made an exchange between these systems. Due to that, the national bibliography of Sweden classifies Swedish documents according to Dewey Decimal Classification and the SAB system is no longer maintained. A transition to Dewey Decimal Classification will enable Swedish librarians to import foreign catalouge posts and classification codes and will provide them with a common standard between their libraries and other libraries due to the use of the same international classification system. It is disputed whether the Dewey Decimal Classification is equally suitable for all subjects.

Vi står inför en generationsväxling på arbetsmarknaden då många av de som arbetar idag kommer att gå i pension inom några år. Detta kommer att innebära att det blir en brist på arbetskraft i vårt samhälle. Invandrare utgör idag en stor del av invånarna i Norrbotten och studier visar på att det är ofta svårt för dem att få arbete. En snabbare arbetsmarknads- etablering för invandrare skulle vara av största vikt då de kommer att behövas på arbetsmarknaden för att fylla det gapet som kommer att uppstå. Utifrån detta perspektiv har jag undersökt invandrares etablering på arbetsmarknaden i Norrbotten.

This master?s thesis focus on Dewey Decimal Classification during the period 1932 to 2011, where the classification of the psychological knowledge domain is analyzed and discussed. In the light of the recent swedish switch from the swedish classification system SAB to DDC, this research area deserves prominence. The aim of this study is to investigate how DDC represents the historical development of the psychology subject with its underlying epistemology, to identify and analyze values and prejudice, and to analyze problems with DDC?s classification of psychology in relation to three other classification systems.

Examensarbetet är utfört vid BAE Systems Bofors AB i Karlskoga. Projektet har gått ut på att utvärdera den nya teorin STAMPoch testa det tillhörande verktyget STPAinom säkerhetsarbete mot det avgränsade ARCHER-systemets delsystem granatgrip-/lyftdon.I dag blir systemen mer och mer komplicerade och de nuvarande metoderna har inte utvecklats i samma takt för att göra en grundläggande säkerhetsanalys då många av olyckorna härrör från oförutsedda interaktioner. Teorin och verktyget är en nyutvecklad metod för att identifiera och värdera risker i ett system eller en produkt. Företaget har ännu inte satt sig in tillräckligt i professorn på MIT, Nancy Levesons rapport som ligger bakom denna nya metod för att arbeta med riskbedömning. Eftersom det är en relativt ny teori inom säkerhetsarbete så finns det inte speciellt mycket forskning att tillgå och antalet källor som finns tillgängliga är få.

The aim of this thesis is to study Viking Eggeling?s artwork Diagonal Symphony together with Eggeling?s own art theoretical writings. This method of reading Eggeling?s art theoretical writings with the aim to try and create a deeper understanding of his art and especially Diagonal Symphony is a new approach in Eggeling?s art historical discourse. The thesis starts with a description of how the field of art history has understood Eggeling and his art primarily through art historical research aimed at Hans Richter.
