The purpose of this study is to show how some Swedish teachers in the grades four to six assess the subject of English and what impact the national tests have on teachers? way of looking at assessments and grades and how teachers are supposed to work with assessment and grading according to the curriculum and the education act. The method of this study has been interviews with principals, teachers and pupils to get as many perspectives of the subject as possible. It has contributed to an interesting content and the end result will be as fundamental as it can be. The findings of this study show that teachers teaching English in Sweden have a great responsibility because of the lack of subject priority and communication between themselves, the government and other authorities in the world of education.

The violence against women is an important matter. In Sweden there are several organisations that takes care of the women and children in need.One of the many organizations you can turn to is women's shelter organizations. They are nonprofit organizations. They depend on the contribution of peoples free time and on the government's awareness of the work that the organization do. The social services has the main responsibility to take care of women and children in need.

Pedagogisk lek i förskolan : En samtalsanalytisk studie av pedagogens roll i olika lekaktiviteter

Play is an important part of children´s everyday life, it is through play children develop. Play occurs a lot in kindergarten and in this study, the aim is to examine how play activities play is used in preschool teaching and the role of the teacher´s in the play. Video recordings of play activities done and qualitative methods (conversation analysis) has been used to analyze the video recordings. The results of this study show that play are widely used as a pedagogical tool in preschool. It is through play children develop.

Medarbetarskap ? en studie av medarbetarskap i en arkitektbyrå

Companies and organizations recognize the importance of collaboration to develop responsibility and ability of change in the workplace. The concept of collaboration was a relatively new idea in business in the late 1980s. In a Nordic context, collaboration is a traditional approach that companies use successfully for competition, survival and development. Collaborative organizational efforts cover management of committed people who can help companies achieve flexibility, customer loyalty, innovation and economic success on a challenging and competitive market. Entreprenöriellt lärande : En diskursanalys ? Verklighet, projektarbete, mottagare

This is a study of the phenomenon enterprise education in a Swedish school. Enterprise education is a rather new concept in Swedish schools, and it has yet to be clearly defined and sufficiently studied. In order to investigate the various aspects of the education properly an analysis of the language used by its proponents needs to be performed. The authors have used discourse analysis from a perspective provided by Laclau and Mouffe. This is for the purpose of determining how the phenomenon is expressed by four teachers in the school mentioned previously.

Samsung Electronics i medial kris : En Corporate Social Responsibility studie avseende konsumentens förtroende vid en medial kris

De flesta företag är beroende av att gå med ekonomiskt vinst för att överleva, och vid en medial kris är det därför nödvändigt att minska risken för negativ medial rapportering. Detta för att kunna behålla varumärkets kundförtroende. Syftet med undersökningen var att ta reda på om konsumenten uppfattar CSR som en motverkande faktor för kris om företaget Samsung Electronics hamnar i en medial kris, samt hur en kris kan tänkas påverka företagsförtroendet för Samsung hos kvinnor och män. Seungho Cho och Yong-Chan Kims (2011) studerade CSR och de fann att CSR-aktiviteter samt bolagets nationalitet har huvudsakliga effekter på företagets anseende. De är båda positiva faktorer som dämpade deltagarnas och individers vilja att vidta åtgärder mot företaget vid kris (Cho & Kim, 2011).

Vision och Verklighet : I globala organisationer med fokus på operativa enheter

The purpose of this study is to contribute to a better understanding of how visions could be applied in subsidiaries and similar sub organisations of global enterprises. With increasing globalisation it becomes more difficult to work in accordance to same standards and towards a common and unifying interest. The study has a qualitative and deductive approach and is based on interviews with three global subsidiaries with some hundred people employed each.Conclusions are that the subsidiaries visions have to be based on a guiding philosophy issued by their mother entities and it is the responsibility of the sub organisation to develop a tangible image with a local vision, mission and strategy with targets requiring feedback. Sustainable strategies cannot be issued without a vision describing where the organisation want be in the future. Otherwise they will not come very far until they have to make a restart with a new strategy and they will never be a market leader..

Psykologiska mekanismer och miljöperspektivet - sambandet mellan attityder och beteendeintentioner inför samhällets miljöpåverkan

Syftet med studien var att pröva vilka psykologiska mekanismer som påverkar sambandet mellan attityder och beteendeintentioner inför miljöpåverkan hos individer i konsumtionssamhället. Hypotesen var att det finns ett miljömedvetande hos människan, men att det är en skillnad mellan attityd och beteendeintention. Även emotioner inför miljöpåverkan hos deltagarna undersöktes, för att fördjupa studien. Undersökningen har gjorts kvantitativt via en webbaserad enkät, genom utskick via Facebook till vuxna individer i Sverige mellan 18-65 år (N=49). Svarsprocenten var 46 procent. Huvudresultatet visar att det finns en oro hos individer inför miljön och framtiden och 94 procent av deltagarna anser att miljöfrågor är viktiga.

Får vårdpersonalen bästa tänkbara IT-stöd? : Kartläggning och analys av informationsflödet mellan EPJ systemförvaltning och vårdpersonal

In health care today at Uppsala County Council the daily work involves spending time at the computer. IT-systems were implemented to support and aid the care givers in their work. Around these systems there is a support organization to support the users in using the system. The aim of this thesis is to investigate this organization in terms of how well it works and how successful it is in helping the users. This has been done by investigating the flow of information trough the organization and by focusing at the role of IT-coordinators with responsibility for support, process development, education and statistics.

The purpose of this study was to investigate, through a qualitative survey, the need of knowledge and strategy in organisations today and tomorrow. The empirical investigation is built on a semi structured interview that was conducted on nine different companies in Gislaveds community. The companies were from three different branches namely: tree, metal and polymer. Three interviews were conducted in each branch.The result from the interviews showed that the globalisation had put the companies under hard competition which had made the need for rationalisation and effectivness more apparent. Having said this, the demands on the organisation and the individuals within it will constantly increase.

Det finns många teorier kring det sociala ansvar företag bör ta och en av dem är Corporate Citizenship. Terminologin inom detta område tycks tilltala företag och de säger sig gärna vara ?goda samhällsmedborgare?. Frågan är vad det betyder att vara en medborgare och vad detta i sin tur innebär för företagen.Flera författare har ställt upp kriterier för vad ett företag bör uppfylla för att räknas som god samhällsmedborgare, men det saknas till stora delar empirisk forskning. Denna uppsats för fram en analysmodell bestående av fem karaktärsdrag en god företagsmedborgare bör inneha och applicerar detta på åtta företag.

Modebranschens ansvar : Om CSR och dess påverkan i inköpsarbetet

Klimat- och miljöhänsyn, arbetsförhållanden, att de mänskliga rättigheterna efterlevs och välgörenhet är frågor som på senare år blivit alltmer omdiskuterade. Detta har skapat en ökad medvetenhet och kunskap och högre krav ställs på företag att agera ansvarsfullt inom dessa områden. Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) är ett begrepp som innebär att på ett aktivt sätt ta samhällsansvar, utöver vad lagar och regler säger.Enligt den svenska regeringen är Sverige ett land som har en stark internationell trovärdighet när det gäller att ta detta samhällsansvar och många svenska företag har ett välutvecklat CSR-arbete. I Sverige finns även många framstående och duktiga modedesigners, vars tillverkning sällan sker i Sverige, utan mycket av produktionen utkontrakteras. De senaste åren har alltfler företag börjat se sig om efter externa producenter i andra länder, i ett försök att etablera sig på andra marknader och få billigare produktion.

The questions asked are to determine whether the law in the 11th section is followed in real life and if the consequences for breaking the law are a deciding factor. This paper summarizes the law as it is interpreted today and in what situations it is applicable. Since the law and especially section 11 affects certain individuals and organizations, the paper also describes who these individuals and organizations are and how they are affected.

Fackförbunden och livslångt lärande : Kritisk analys av livslångt lärande ur ett fackligt perspektiv

Lifelong learning (LLL), a concept dating back to the 1920s, is much used both by the OECD, UNESCO and the EU. But while intergovernmental think-tanks and supranational organisations often use the term in a positive sense, many (not least scholars) are critical of the term. The critique either deals with the lack of a universal definition, that the implicit responsibility for LLL has shifted onto the individual, or that the meaning of the term has shifted from a humanistic one linked to the personal development and a better society to a neoliberal one that involves growth, competition, globalisation and human capital theory. This study is based on interviews with nine trade union representatives on their understandings of lifelong learning. The results showed that while LLL was positively viewed by most, there was virtually no communication vis-à-vis members on the topic, most trade unions have no policy regarding LLL, and responses from representatives were sometimes self-conflicting..
