This study is about the work around festivals and traditions that takes place in multicultural preschools. The purpose of this study is to describe and reflect upon the work around festivals and traditions in multicultural preschools from the view of five preschool teachers who are active in their profession.  The purpose is also to investigate which festivals and traditions that are given attention at preschool and for what reason according to the preschool teachers.The method of research chosen in this study is qualitative in the form of individual interviews with the intention of obtaining and interpreting the descriptions and reflections of the informants around the subject. The results will be analyzed from an intercultural perspective.The results show that all investigated preschools celebrate the traditional Swedish festivals Christmas, St. Lucia?s day, Easter and Midsummer, and that these festivals take up lots of space in terms of time and labor.

The aim of this project was to change the way cutting techniques are being taught. I wished to try a method which I believed to enhance my students´ participation and understanding of their education. My purpose was to reduce the gap between theory and practice. After conducting a learning style test I found that most of them considered the best way for them to learn was by combining practice with dialogue and reflection of the tasks being done. That is why we tried to start working with the practical elements rather than traditionally starting with the theoretical aspects, while carefully intertwining terms and language of the trade into the education.

Title: The municipal school of arts and music - "a school for everyone?" - A study of the accessibility of "Kulturskolor", focusing on the absence of fees. The aim of this thesis is to increase the understanding of a complex of problems concerning broadened recruitment of students and teachers in "Kulturskolor". I have chosen to focus on three schools of performing arts offering programs free of charge to ascertain how they work with broadened recruitment and to see what effects they have achieved by having no fees. I have examined these schools through a qualitative study where I have interviewed the principals and teachers from each school.

Detta är ett försök att skildra den livsåskådningstradition som med utgångspunkt från moderna vetenskapliga resultat söker påvisa ett samband mellan dessa och den urgamla shamanistiska tradition som en gång varit världsomspännande och fortfarande lever i spridda rester av vissa kulturkretsar.Jag har för detta ändamål läst den litteratur som jag här sammanfattar i resultatdelen samt redovisar under rubriken "Diskussion och slutsats" med en religionsvetenskaplig analys och en fenomenografisk genomgång.Min forskningsuppgift är att utifrån ett religionsvetenskapligt perspektiv göra en deskriptiv analys av några centrala arbeten inom det som kallas den nya fysiken och en shamanistisk tradition i anslutning till den.Den röda tråd som jag ser löpa genom denna litteratur påvisar dels utifrån olika förutsättningar annorlunda sätt att uppfatta och förhålla sig till "verkligheten" och dels finns här genomgående mer eller mindre religiösa övertoner. En gemensam nämnare för denna idétradition är även den parallell man ser mellan komplementaritet, dvs. ljusets våg/partikeldualism, och olika medvetandetillstånd. Detta innebär i båda fallen ett överskridande av vår vanliga tids- och rumsuppfattning. Vidare krävs det såväl inom shamanismen som i den kvantmekaniska forskningen att man är en kreativ medskapare, inte en objektiv iakttagare..

This study reads the oeuvre of the NobelPrize winner Samuel Beckett (1906-1989) as being closely related to these certain traditions andconnotations of for example religion, satire, and speaking nonsense, in his frequent use of parrotsand their symbolic potentials, in his writing. Furthermore, it is possible to distinguish a movementin Beckett?s use of parrots, from a more or less traditionally use, to one more philosophicallyprofound.Although the parrot graces us with its presence (or at least may be traced) in almost everywork written by Beckett, from the poem ?Whoroscope? (1930) to How It Is (1961), they are onlymentioned sparsely by his interpreters. Therefore, a brief history of the literary tradition of theparrot will be expounded.

Since time immemorial, nature has been conceived of as a female entity. This ancient concept is also a recurring element in contemporary Swedish horror fiction. The purpose of this thesis is to compare the feature of nature in the selected works of Anders Fager, Andreas Marklund and Frida Arwen Rosesund and in what ways these respective depictions rely on a tradition where nature is gendered female. The theoretical starting-point for this comparative study is ecocriticism and its subcategory ecofeminism, which are modes of literary criticism where the role of nature in general, and its female connotations in particular, are appreciated as significant literary features. For executing an analysis that goes beyond what is explicit, the exploration of these three writers? texts also adopts a psychoanalytical perspective.

I den här studien har vi, med hermeneutisk filosofisk forskningsansats och kvalitativ intervju som metod, undersökt hur begreppet trygghet kan tolkas och användas i relation till pedagogisk handling. Hur pedagogens syn på trygghetsbegreppet kan visa sig i lärandesituationen mellan barn och pedagog. Intresset för begreppet trygghet växte fram från egna minnen från vår första tid i skolan då vi drog oss till minnes att trygghet var viktigt för att vilja lära. Med hermeneutiken som forskningsansats används och problematiseras vår egen förförståelse kontinuerligt med egna reflektioner och tolkningar genom hela processen. Studien behandlar och problematiserar teoretiska perspektiv av begreppet trygghet och begreppet lärande.

Studien syftar till att beskriva förskollärares egna erfarenheter efter genomgången Reggio Emilia utbildning. Studiens fokus ligger på deras förändrade förhållningssätt samt hur detta påverkar barns lärande. Utifrån syftet har jag valt att genomföra en kvalitativ intervjustudie med tre verksamma förskollärare. Studiens resultat visar att förskollärarna upplever deras förhållningssätt som förändrat, samt att detta påverkar barnens lärande positivt. De förändringar som beskrivs är en förändrad barnsyn och kunskapssyn samt förändring av planering och strukturering av verksamheten.

Syftet med denna studie är att bidra med kunskap och en diskussion om hur några pedagoger beskriver konstruktionen av utvecklingssamtal på förskolan samt hur pedagogerna beskriver det innehåll som de anser bör finnas med vid ett utvecklingssamtal. Studien har genomförts med utgångspunkt från ett konstruktionistiskt perspektiv med hjälp av en mindre enkätundersökning samt en fördjupad intervjustudie där svaren sedan har bearbetats kvalitativt. Bearbetning av materialet har gjorts genom att tolka innebörder och konstruera kategorier efter de svar som erhållits. Resultatet av studien visar att de deltagande pedagogerna använder sig av fortlöpande anteckningar under terminen, multimedia såsom Ipad och digitalkamera och pedagogisk dokumentation samt barnkonferens när de förbereder sig inför ett utvecklingssamtal. Pedagogerna anser också att de viktigaste delarna att ta upp vid ett utvecklingssamtal är barnets utveckling och lärande, information från föräldrar, föräldrarnas tankar och önskemål samt barnets trivsel och trygghet på förskolan. En viktig aspekt är relationen mellan föräldrarna och pedagogerna där både denna studies respondenter och tidigare forskning är samstämmiga, en god relation är grunden till hur utvecklingssamtalet uppfattas. .

Utgångspunkt tas i forskningsfrågorna: Hur uttrycker pedagoger att förskolegården används?, Hur beskriver pedagoger möjligheter och hinder som kan finnas på deras gård? samt Vad säger pedagoger om sin roll vid utevistelsen? Som metod användes kvalitativa intervjuer. I intervjuer med öppna frågor kunde verksamma pedagoger uttrycka sig angående förskolegården på ett mer berättande sätt utifrån sina erfarenheter. Utifrån svaren ställdes sedan riktade följdfrågor för att få djupare svar på forskningsfrågorna.

It is important that children develop their communicating skills to be able to interact withother persons in different social contexts. Without the necessary skills, the child will struggleto understand others, as well as to be understood. My qualitative research takes place in a preschoolclass at a primary school in Stockholm, where I from a sociocultural perspective onteaching and learning aim to clarify how the students? ability to develop their linguisticperformance and their communicative competence is stimulated within this primary preschool?seducational framework. Empirical data was collected both through observations ofthe daily activities in the pre-school class as well as through interviews of three employedteachers.My research indicates that the educational framework in this pre-school class is structured tocomply with the official Swedish Curriculum, Lpo.
