SharePoint is a web based platform designed to provide internal communications and file sharing for businesses and organizations.In this project, we created a system consisting of multiple applications to be used together with SharePoint. These applications are meant to simplify the workflow for internal orders of products. The system is targeted towards companies that do not have a flexible approach to digital orders or companies that want to integrate this functionality into their SharePoint platform. The project includes, in addition to the creation of the system, installation of the software and the servers needed to run a SharePoint environment and their configurations.The system consists of four applications where one of these, the store application, is required for the system to be used at all. The other applications are an order management application, a purchase application and an incoming delivery application. Of these four, we have implemented the store application and the order management application. Our hope is that users will find the system easy to use and graphically appealing..

The music distribution in Sweden and the world is rapidly changing. The music industry, however, has been reluctant to change the way they distribute music. The consequence has been that illegal music files have been available for downloading to anyone with an Internet connection. Because of the illegal downloading a new law have been implemented in an attempt to stop this behaviour. Our theory is that in implementing the IPRED-law, the sites that were hosting most of the illegal material will experience a severe decrease in traffic.

Today?s society is one where technological advances are made daily, which increases the need to stop and assess the risks against users? integrity when integrating new technology in contemporary systems all the greater. We have taken two technologies, Near Field Communication and Certified Wireless USB, whose envisioned area of use is to be integrated into mobile phones, and evaluated what security threats are revealed for the respective technologies. The threats against security have been identified through research of the standards and existing reports for each technology. Practical experiments have not been conducted on account of us not having access to any equipment to run such trials.

UN is a non-governmental organization which should promote gender equality within the organization. It is an organization which is based on human rights and claims that in order to solve the problem of poverty, famine and development we need to promote women?s status. In Sweden there is a strong tradition of gender balanced representation at the governmental level and this perspective raise the question if there is a spill-over effect to the civil society as in the case of a non-governmental organization. This makes it interesting to look at if a non-governmental organization which is not under state control work for gender equality within their own organization.

In todays high-technological society where the Internet plays a central role in our day-to-day life, many e-retailers are not able to attract customers to complete a transaction on their website. In order to succeed, many e-commerce sites must improve several safety aspects regarding online payment, in order to be perceived as a reliable and secured retailer. The purpose of this paper is to investigate if increment in various combinations and aspects in online payment will in fact improve the customer's perception of the e-retailer and result in completed transactions. In order to investigate this aspect, an experiment was conducted to be able to compare eight independent groups, that each had been exposed to a different security scenario on the online payment website of either a known or unknown retailer. Our results clearly prove that perceived security of the retailer's payment website increases willingness to purchase from the retailer.

The survey takes its starting point in a critical evaluation of recent phenomenological approaches to rock art in landscape studies, foremost the works of Chris Tilley. The purpose is to present a phenomenological theory, based on the philosophy of Maurice Merleau-Ponty, which includes both motives, places and landscapes in a holistic interpretation. Bronze age rock art around Motala ström and the city of Norrköping is used to exemplify the theoretical discussion. When presenting the framework, emphasis is being laid on the bodily experience of rock art and place through the process of phenomenological intersubjectivity..

This paper is finishing part of the two-year master programme in Industrial Engineering and Management.Initially there was an inquiry of studying the queue-times that Fläkt Woods uses when they break down internal working orders. These times were assumed to be too generalised and does not apply to the actual value of the queue-times which generates incorrect data and delivery delays. During the work of this paper it has been established that it is not the queue-times that is the biggest problem. The problem is the shop floor control and the lack of manufacturing the right products at the right time. Therefore an analysis of the production planning process was made to bring forward the real problems.

Bakgrund: Idag råder det stor brist av hyresrätter i samhället. Detta medför att unga har svårt att flytta hemifrån och att personer med begränsat kapital har svårt att skaffa en bostad.Syfte: Syftet med arbetet är att undersöka vad kommunala och privata fastighetsbolag grundar investeringsbeslut på. Tillsammans med befintlig teori ska en generell kalkyl skapas som fastighetsbolag kan använda vid nybyggnation av hyresrätter.Metod: Studien har genomförts genom att en abduktiv metod har tillämpats där studien börjat med insamling av teori. Vidare har fem stycken semistrukturerade intervjuer genomförts för att samla in empiriskt material och sedan utvärdera om ytterligare komplettering av teori behövs.Slutsats: De undersöka bolagen använder idag olika bedömningsmetoder vid nybyggnation av hyresrätter. Förslaget som presenteras är att fastighetsbolag ska använda nuvärdesmetoden, en kompletterande kassaflödesanalys och Pay-off metoden vid mindre investeringar..

Kulturmiljöns roll i planeringen utreds i detta examensarbete där begreppen och dess tillämpningar förklaras och teoretiska och metodiska aspekter presenteras. Analysresultatet används för att åskådliggöra nådda slutsatser som bildar underlag för den avslutade delen av arbetet som utgörs av att pröva resultaten praktiskt. Teori- och metoddelarna visar på hur kulturmiljöer är karaktärsskapande och ger identitet till platsen. Vilket på så sätt gör dem till en resurs för framtiden. Då kulturmiljövärden tas tillvara genom hänsyn i planeringen kan de berika och vara en tillgång för människor och samhälle, de bildar en av de grundläggande utgångspunkterna för olika planerade förändringar.

Lean production is the name given to Toyota?s Production System (TPS) by the west. The continuous improvements of their operations through Lean has made Toyota into the largest car manufacturer in the world. This, in turn, has led to several studies regarding both Toyota and their system as to find ways to apply Lean in other organizations. Even so, over 90 percent of all companies fail to implement Lean.

The thesis investigates how two of the world?s most powerful international actors, the US and the EU want to promote democracy and human rights. The aim is to compare how the US and the EU work in order to support a democratic development in the world. In order to fulfill the purpose of the thesis a qualitative text analysis was used. Since the aim is to compare the US and the EU I believe this method is beneficial.

Slakthusområdet i södra Stockholm står inför stora förändringar. Sten Nordin, ett borgarråd i Stockholms kommun, har gjort lösa löften till företag som IKEA och IKANO för att låta dem etablera sina varuhus, hotell och liknande i området. I den här uppsatsen undersöks Jane Jacobs teori om stadsplanering och hur den kan appliceras på hur Slakthusområdet kan komma att utformas. Teorin innehåller fyra villkor: området måste ha mer än en primär funktion, det måste vara småskaligt och finkornigt bebyggt, en variation ska finnas i bebyggelsens ålder och utseende, och en tillräckligt hög koncentration av människor måste befinna sig på platsen under dygnets alla timmar. Enligt Jacobs måste alla fyra villkor uppfyllas för att området ska bli fullt funktionellt och levande. Två analyser genomförs i undersökningen av området: en baserad på Kevin Lynchs metod och en baserad på SWOT-analys av Jane Jacobs teori. Baserat på resultatet av analysen och vidare på Jane Jacobs teori tas ett program fram och ett exempel på Slakthusområdets utformning designas. Programmet innehåller fem punkter: Täta och tydliga kvarter, bevarande av delar av befintlig bebyggelse, hus som vetter mot gata, tydligare stråk genom området, fler bostäder, och fler entréer till området. Arbetet avslutas med en diskussion huruvida Jane Jacobs teori är optimal för att basera riktiga projekt på och hur och om det är möjligt att komplimentera teorin med andra metoder och teorier.
