Ända sedan det kalla krigets slut har diskursen om den liberala demokratin varit hegemonisk. Det, menar vi, har skapat en osund situation där demokratins utformning och innehåll inte längre diskuteras. Därför har vi valt att undersöka den globala rättviserörelsens demokrativision, den enda som idag skulle kunna representera ett legitimt alternativ till den liberala demokratin. Eftersom det är en ostrukturerad grupp av diverse organisationer, rörelser och aktivister är det svårt att nå fram till en samlad vision. Vår analys bygger huvudsakligen på World Social Forums ?Charter of Principles?, en samling grundläggande principer som bildar en gemensam grund för alternativa politiska forum.

The structure of the thesis is based on opportunities to attract businesses to the region, the need of establishments in the region and benchmarking with establishment strategies of other cluster initiatives. The identified opportunities are the local business relationship with ABB, the prerequisites of life quality in the region and the availability of financial support. Further on has a number of opportunities to be developed been identified; diversification of the existing businesses, an expansion of the cooperation with universities and to simplify the contact with local authorities. Challenges that HVV is facing is: creating a more dynamic labor market, secure long-term labor supply, spread the image of the brand HVV and finally putting HVVs geographic scope. Two of the identified needs of establishments are strategically important: to establish a third-party logistician and commercializing systems for distributed generation and energy storage.

Hasan di Tiro och organisationen Acheh Sumatra National Liberation Front (ASNLF) har varit den drivande kraften i kampen för ett självständigt Acheh, som sedan 1949 varit en del av Indonesien. Deras främsta argument är att när den forna nederländska kolonin upplöstes överläts Acheh till den konstruerade nationen Indonesien, ett land utan några som helst historiska eller kulturella band med Acheh. Syftet med denna uppsats är att utföra en narrativanalys på den dagbok Hasan di Tiro skrev 1976-79 mitt under den pågående frihetskampen. Vi analyserar vilka kognitiva och ideologiska uppfattningar som ligger till grund för konstruktionen av en achehnesisk fiendebild, samt hur di Tiro refererar till Indonesien som "den Andre" i sin narrativa diskurs. Vår analys visar att fiendebilden om Indonesien bygger på en stark förankring i Achehs historiska uppfattning från kolonialtiden, samt på ett resonemang där fienden avhumaniseras och sätts i en underlägsen position i kontrast till den egna identiteten..

År 2000 presenterade FN den s.k. Brahimi-rapporten. Den efterlyste en ?doktrinomsvängning? för attFN på ett mer effektivt sätt skulle kunna möta framtida utmaningar inom ramen för fredsfrämjandeoperationer. Rapporten redovisade ett antal konkreta förslag till förbättringar.

Aim: To investigate the quality of life and the social life situation, with special focus on the consequenses of fear of hypoglycemia (FoH), in Islet transplanted patients.Method: 11 patients were included, four women and seven men, who have been Islet tranplanted at Uppsala University Hospital during the years 2001-2009. Two questionaires, Short Form 36 (SF-36) and the Swedish version Hypoglycemia Fear Survey (Swe-HFS) were used to investigate the quality of life, in relation to fear of hypoglycemia. Also, telephone interviews were conducted to investigate the patients social life situation in relation to FoH, after Islet transplantation and were analysed using content analysis method.Results: The mean value for quality of life was lower than that in the normal population. Three out of ten patients experienced FoH. Three predominant themes were revealed, one theme associated with pre- transplant, was ?Struggle for control of Social Life Situation? and two themes associated with post-transplant, were ?Regain power and controll of  Social Life Situation? and ?At Peace with the balance between the Present and the Future?.Conclusion: The patients experienced improved control over social life situation and quality of life in relation to FoH may been improved following islet tranplantation..

This thesis concerns an energy audit of a food industry. The company's business consists of boiling and peeling shrimps, and producing mayonnaise-based salads. This type of work involves energy-intensive processes, such as steam generation, compression of air and refrigeration of large spaces. These needs are supplied with electricity. Furthermore, the industry is a major consumer of district heating, particularly for heating the supply air in the ventilation system.

Den här uppsatsen analyserar och jämför två fall av externt administrerade statsbyggande missioner. Den utgår från Barry Buzans statskomponenter för att jämföra och söka förklara varför de internationella administrationerna i Kosovo och Bosnien-Hercegovina misslyckats med att bygga en stabil, representativ och enad stat. Analysen utgörs av tre huvudsakliga statskomponenter, dessa innefattar den statsbärande idén, statens institutioner samt statens fysiska bas (befolkningen och territoriet).Slutsatsen är att man misslyckats med att skapa legitimitet för institutionerna eftersom institutionerna, vars bas är tänkt att bygga på en enande statsbärande idé, speglar samhället i stort som har differentierade åsikter om vad staten bör vara till för och försvårar byggandet av en gemensam, stabil stat.Vi föreslår att den idealiserade visionen om en multietnisk stat, både i Kosovo och Bosnien-Hercegovina ersätts eller möjligen successivt övergår till en vision om integration och multinationalitet som omfamnar gruppernas skillnader och undviker att påtvinga de opraktisk neutralitet..

Once these disciplines complement one another, you can achieve a smooth handover to ensure a good and healthy working environment.In this thesis, we study a company in Uppsala and their operations and handover by interviewing the relevant staff in question. The result shows that there are currently no present guidelines for how and when the handover should take place, it is up to each individual to provide themselves with the relevant information.If the handover of the work environment would occur to the extent it should it would lead to minimized proportions of unforeseen risks and events that may occur during the production phase, which ultimately leads to a better and healthier working environment..

Denna teorianvändande uppsats handlar om konsekvenserna av skuggekonomins utbredning i post-konfliktuella samhällen och hur dessa påverkar utvecklingen i Bosnien-Hercegovina. Vi har använt oss av Roland Paris IBL-teori på statsnivå och Carolyn Nordstroms hypoteser på individnivå för att bättre belysa problemen som ett post-konfliktuellt samhälle ställs inför när det gäller skuggekonomins utbredning och konsekvenser. Genom att tydliggöra vad som omfattas av skuggekonomin på dessa två nivåer belyser vi vilka positiva respektive negativa konsekvenser skuggekonomin medför. Den inofficiella sektorn i Bosnien-Hercegovina har ökat och staten har blivit allt svagare och därigenom fått svårt att bygga upp starka institutioner vilket syns i den offentliga sektorn som präglas av korruption. På individnivå har skuggekonomin tagit över statens tidigare roll som socialt skyddsnät, arbetsgivare och inkomstkälla.

The purpose of this study is to investigate how much influence children perceive and feel that they have in terms of after-school activities and offerings. I have also tried to find out how much influence the children in the selected after-schools feel they have. This is to highlight how children themselves perceive their influence and if the children are aware of their rights in terms of participation and influence. The study also wants to highlight the forums and the ways in which children feel that they are heard. The study used questionnaires and group interviews were made of 15 children aged 8-9 years from two after-schools, located in two different schools in the same municipality.

The Russian operation on the Crimean peninsula has been referred to as a victory enabled by the operationalization of the concept of New Generation Warfare. According to some military theorists, this concept and its operationalization cannot be characterized in terms of the traditional wars waged up to this point. Could it be that a top rank is detrimental to an entire country's efforts to fight corruption?This bachelor thesis in political science is about Swedish corruption. In essence, so questioning the Transparency International's indexed rankings that placed Sweden in third place. Issues concern since if the third placement has created nonchalance and a careless mentality in Swedish government and in particular in the municipal operations. Research results show that Transparency International's rankings have low validity and low reliability and that the government is not acting sufficiently to prevent and fight corruption.
