I föreliggande studie avhandlas fenomenet afterwork. Afterwork utgör en kontext som präglas av en integrering mellan arbetslivet och privatlivet, i den meningen att arbetskollegor umgås efter arbetsdagens slut under privata former. Studiens syfte är att beskriva upplevelsen av afterwork hos informanterna som samtliga är män, fyra kockar samt fem byggnadsarbetare.Krogen har historiskt utgjort en arena för män och denna studie använder ett genusperspektiv för att undersöka hur maskulinitet reproduceras inom fenomenet afterwork. För att besvara studiens frågeställningar används en fenomenologisk ansats och empirin har insamlats med intervjuer, samt en deltagande observation under en afterwork. Empirin analyseras med hjälp av Goffmans begrepp främre och bakre region, Gusfields begrepp ?work? och ?leisure?, samt Connells och Messerschmidts begrepp hegemonisk maskulinitet för att belysa reproducerandet av maskulinitet under afterwork. Resultaten visar att kontexten afterwork utgör en integrerad arena mellan arbetet och privatlivet där inget av det ena någonsin frångår det andra; afterwork utgör därav en förlängning av arbetsdagen då samtal om arbetet ofta förekommer.

Informationskoncept om kommunikation och tjänster för Stockholm Stadsom skall kunna tas i bruk år 2010, året då Stockholm har som mål att varavärldens tillgängligaste stad. Konceptet består av "huvudstationer" vid vilkaman kan genom att peka på en dataskärm får information om hur man tarsig från en plats till en annan. Stationerna är placerade på frekvent besöktaplatser i staden, så som tunnelbanestationer, torg, gallerior, parker mm. Påplatser där det inte rör sig folk i samma utsträckning finns det #mellanstationer#med karta och info om närliggande kommunikationer. För att hittatill respektive #huvudstation# finns även markeringar i marken i form av enpil av metall och glas ur vilken det strålar ljus.

AbstractThe aim of this study is to investigate the implementation process and the implementation steering of the social development aspects, gender equality and integration, in the program for regional development of the region Kronoberg in the period of 2004-2007.The study asks three questions: 1) How have the social development aspects, gender equality and integration, been implemented in the program for regional development of the region Kronoberg? 2) What has facilitated or hindered the implementation of the two social development aspects? 3) What possibilities to steer the implementation process of the two social development aspects exist at the governmental and at the regional level?In order to answer these questions a qualitative method has been used. To be able to analyse the empirical material, which consists of documents and interviews, the theoretical framework comprehends the policy process and implementation steering. The conclusion is that the incorporation of the social development aspects in the regional development program does not fully correspond with the central intentions, and that is due to circumstances at the regional level..

The management at the City of Stockholm?s Sports Department have problems. During recent years several IT-projects have been launched but results are worse than could have been hoped for. The projects are generally perceived as being too expensive, too time consuming and not to have delivered the expected results. This thesis aims at giving the City of Stockholm?s Sports Department theoretically based advice on how to improve their management of IT-projects.

Syftet med detta arbete har varit att undersöka taxibranschen efter branschens avreglering, med fokus på Taxi Stockholm 15 00 00 AB. Denna innefattar den aktuella läge för taxibranschen i Stockholm och även den nya konkurrenssituationen hos taximarknaden i Stockholm efter avregleringen 1990. Denna undersökning bygger på en kvalitativ samt en kvantitativ metod då har vi försökt att noggrant få fram fakta om branschen med hjälp av både primärdata (intervjuer) och sekundärdata (årsredovisningar, ekonomiska rapporter, akademiska artiklar, Internet källor mm.). I analysen har utförts sedan en jämförelse mellan fallföretaget Taxi Stockholm och dess huvudkonkurrenter med hjälp av valda teorier och insamlade sekundär samt primärdata. Taxi Stockholm 15 00 00 AB som tackvare sin tidigare monopolinställning har haft en ledande position, på senare år förlorad marknadsandelar till sina konkurrenter.

This thesis is about the idea of public transport and the discussions stirred in the media during changes in ownership. More specifically it is a study of the historical situation of Stockholm, Sweden, where the periods chosen are the 1910s, 1960s and 1990s.During the 1910s Stockholm?s first and largest tram company was taken over by thecity, and a period of public ownership began, which in the 1960s changed form whenthe county council took over the city?s principal authority and formed the politicallyadministered company SL (Storstockholms Lokaltrafik, Greater Stockholm LocalTransit Company). Between these periods the word kollektivtrafik (public transport)was established in the Swedish language. This study describes and compares the ideasconcerning the phenomenon of public transport.The aim of the study is to analyse the ideas, values and ideals concerning public transport in the media, defined as newspapers.

Housing cooperatives in Sweden practice very long depreciation times for their buildings and assets, subsequently depreciation costs are very low. This study aims at addressing issues relating to potential upward revisions of these costs and the revenue levels needed by housing cooperatives to address these changes, while also providing a detailed summary of some chosen financial ratios under different circumstances. This study's results are based upon recent (2015) market data within the Stockholm region, collected through a manual process and analyzed quantitatively. On average, housing cooperatives EBIT do not cover their financial costs and have low profit margins. The average depreciation time is considerably above what a technical evaluation by other sources may state.

Ordningsstörande kring allsvensk fotboll, främst i Stockholm har länge varit ett problem för samhället. I samband med dessa matcher begås skadegörelse, misshandel och ordningsstörningar i hög utsträckning och en allsvensk fotbollsmatch kan kosta uppemot 600 000 kronor. Syftet med denna rapport är att belysa de skyldigheter som polisen har i fråga om den allmänna ordningen och säkerheten kring allsvenska fotbollsmatcher i Stockholm. Vidare vill vi ta reda på om polisens utbildning är tillräcklig för att de ska klara av detta på ett bra sätt. Vi valde att intervjua yttre kommissarie Anders Sigurdsson vid Operativa avdelningen i Stockholm med anledning av att han är ansvarig för planering av insatser kring allsvenska fotbollsmatcher i Stockholm.

Mergers between companies has become more and more common in Sweden and in the rest of the world with the motive to increase the competitive strength in the current markets and has an important role within organisational development of companies. When organisations merger there is not only buildings and objects that are put together but also their individual organisational structures, people, values and cultures. This can be a difficult process and can affect many people in how they think conscious as well as unconscious, feel and react.The purpose of this thesis is to gain a deeper understanding of how employees are affected following a merger when changes in the organisational culture come up, and how these changes are expressed.This thesis is delimited to investigate only one company, Skruf Snus AB and only focus on their business and employees in the region of Stockholm. The thesis contains a qualitative investigation with semi structured interviews that has been carried out with eight employees at Skruf Snus AB. The thesis is partly based on a model of Schein which describes the different levels in organisational culture and partly on some theories about reactions to change in relation to the integration between the employees following a merger.The results of the investigation indicate that with a merger the whole organisational culture is affected and therefore also the employees.

I denna uppsats studeras placeringen av svenska filmproduktionsbolag. Eftersom majoriteten av de svenska filmproduktionsbolagen förlagt sig i Stockholm, trots att hälften av all svensk långfilm produceras i Västra Götalandsregionen, studeras de olika spatiala förutsättningarna för filmproduktionsbolag förlagda på dessa båda platser. Den övergripande frågeställningen rör varför majoriteten av svenska filmproduktionsbolag är placerade i Stockholm. Det empiriska materialet har samlats in genom intervjuer med filmproduktionsbolag, filmföretag och samproducenten Film Väst. Baserat på klusterteorier kring lokalt surr, globala pipelines och temporära kluster, har materialet analyserats.

There is a mutual dependency between the business world and the country?s municipalities. The municipalities are dependent on the companies to create work and tax income while the companies are dependent on the municipalities they are located in to provide good infrastructure among other things.Apart from this the municipalities can work activly with creating a strong brand in the eyes of the companies and many researchers in marketing agree that marketing of places will be more common in the future. Marketing of municipalities is however still a rather new and unexplored area and it is uncertain how and to what extent the municipalities work with this.The thesis is formulated:How are the municipalities working to market towards companies and is it possible to make out any positive change from these marketing efforts?The goal of this study is:Our goal is to examine how the view of marketing of places differs from different municipalities in the Stockholm region, how some of these municipalities work with this and how far they have come in this work.

This case study is made on assignment of Södra, region Öst, as a part of a campaign promoting more active management of the oak forests in the region. Hardwood trees of good quality, especially oak, has a high value due to that the sawn material is highly estimated by the market. It is important that the Swedish oak forests are managed in a proper way in order to meet the future demand. Södra has therefore decided to increase the focus on oak in the Kalmar region and they would like to find out if continues cover forestry (CCF) under certain conditions can be an appropriate management model. The motive is to make use of the existing oak forests more efficient, not just considering well managed forests but also the more neglected oak forests, on poorer soils. Thus, the objective for this study is to examine if CCF is appropriate method in the three stand types; broadleaved mixtures oak forest, oak islet, and oak/spruce forest. Existing management models were surveyed in the literature.

I nästan alla Sveriges kommuner finns numera en lokal matematikutvecklare som har i uppdrag att främja undervisningen i matematik, bistå kollegor med aktuell forskning med mera. De arbetar som samordnare till kommunernas matematiklärare och ingår själva i både regionala och nationella nätverk spridda över landet. Att varje kommun bör ha en lokal matematikutvecklare kommer från Matematikdelegationens betänkande, till-sammans med andra ?åtgärder för att förändra attityder till och öka intresset för mate-matikämnet samt utveckla matematikundervisningen?(SOU 2004:97, Bilaga 1).Syftet med arbetet har varit att undersöka matematikutvecklarna i Växjö region genom att besvara tre frågor: Varför behöver Sveriges kommuner matematikutvecklare? (Vilken är bakgrunden till de negativa trenden inom ämnet som föranledde regeringens uppdrag till Utbildningsdepartementet om en utredning?) Vad är matematikutvecklarnas förut-sättningar (allmänna faktorer som påverkar utvecklandet) för att lyckas med sitt uppdrag i Växjö region? Samt Hur arbetar, tänker och ser matematikutvecklarna i Växjö region på sitt uppdrag?I litteraturstudien lyfts forskning fram kring svensk skolutveckling, läroplanshistorik och pedagogiska influenser på matematik, som kan ha påverkat utvecklingen av skolämnet. Det görs också en redogörelse över Matematikdelegationens uppdrag, handlingsplan och samarbetspartners samt den direkta orsaken till deras arbete, d.v.s.

During spring 2007, I Matilda Lindblom, undertook my Bachelor Degree project in Furniture Design. The supervisors were Agneta Stake at Nola in Stockholm and Leo Jóhannsson, teacher and examiner at Carl Malmsten CTD in Stockholm.The project was based on three elements:? Cooperate together with a producer for professional supervision? Learn to work from a given design brief.? To learn more about industrial production? Learn more about furniture for public areasI contacted a furniture producer called Nola AB, in Stockholm, who became my work partner during this project. The asked me to design a piece of furniture where you can sit and work with a laptop on. The target was for public areas, for example in parks, malls, or at airports.In cooperation with Nola, my ambition was to develop this piece of furniture that was the answers on their wishes and demands.
