Problemområde Problemområdet i studien är det eventuella sambandet mellan konjunktur och Ohälsotalet inom den offentliga sektorn. Genom att studera detta är syftet att förstå vilken påverkan konjunkturen har på Ohälsotalet samt vilket eventuellt motivationsteoretiskt samband som går att urskilja. Metod För att genomföra en statistisk datainsamling inom området har den kvantitativa datan utgått från tidigare insamlad statistik från Statistiska Centralbyrån (SCB), Försäkringskassan (FK) och Konjunkturinstitutet (KI). Statistiken har varit grunden i den kvantitativa undersökningsmetod som använts i studien. Data som undersökts är inte insamlad av författarna och ses således som sekundärdata från andra statistiska undersökningar.

This thesis focuses on the mass media cover of ?Smart textiles?. The Swedish?smart? textiles are developed in Borås and are a mix of ordinary textile and new technology.  I analyse the article with a text analysis method, looking at themes and the language?s propositions in focus. Context and the actors in the articles are also important in the analysis.Many women occur as developers of the new smart technical product, a field often knowed as a typical male subject.

AbstractThis report has been developed in cooperation with Peab Region Bostad Göteborg, mentor at Krook& Tjäder (through Chalmers), and examiner at Chalmers University of Technology. The report is the result of a research of a building project, constructed by Peab. The report is investigating and it means to identify and evaluate qualities in the dwelling and its surroundings. Its purpose is to evaluate how the residents in a chosen housing cooperative enjoy living there. It shall, with help of chosen quality aspects, identify what expectations the residents had before moving in, how they experience the dwelling and its surroundings today, and what hopes they have for the future planning of the area.

This study aims to examine the effect the evaluation system used by the Stockholm County Council, has on how the healthcare providers themselves conduct the evaluation regarding their own operations. This is done through a qualitative case study of the evaluation systems of the Stockholm County Council and of four primary healthcare producers concerning one primary healthcare contract. The evaluation systems were analysed using Merchant and Ver der Stede's (2007) framework for different types of control. In order to give a more detailed picture this framework was complemented with different types of performance measurement. The evaluation that the Stockholm County Council conducts was found to have little influence on the providers own evaluation with the exception of the quality indicators that are rewarded with a monetary bonus..

Abstract. Aim: The aim of this study is to determine certain health, demographic and socioeconomic factors that affect the costs for specialized health care between the municipalities within the Västra Götaland region. Method: The method is explorative and analytical. The costs for specialized health care was divided into three different subgroups; independent somatic specialized health care, specialized health care provided by private practices or outside the region and psychiatric specialized health care. The data was age-standardized.

This report is written in cooperation with the Swedish National Road Administration South-Eastern Region in Jönköping. The report is a result of the evaluation to give an answer to the question about how well the function contract has been carried out on the E4 in Östergötlands and Jönköpings län. The evaluation is divided in two hard parameters and one soft.The Swedish National Road Administration is interested in knowing how the standard on the road have been changed during the functions period, which is the reason why the first hard parameter is considering road standard. To evaluate the standard there have been a comparison of values from measures taken every year on the current road stretch. The second hard parameter considers economy.

This research is conducted on one of the world?s largest deposits - Shtokman gas and condensate field located in the Barents Sea. The development of the field is operated by the Special Purpose Company Shtokman Development AG - the international consortium of Total, Statoil and Gazprom. This research is aimed to analyze the value chain of the Shtokman project and to study the socio-economic capacity of the Murmansk region in order to examine the perspective fields of work for local companies, as well as the socio-economic potential of the region related to the gas industry that can be applied to the realization of the Shtokman project. The research is based on qualitative and quantitative data collection that involves the results of 24 semi structured interviews conducted in the Murmansk region, including the interviews with representatives of the Shtokman Development AG and the industrial committee of the Murmansk region government.

This thesis aims at determining the heat losses in a property vent stack and its roof valve. Upon request of a company, the vent stack is analysed for possible heat recovering solutions to be implemented, while relining of the drain system is executed and with a suitable payback time for the economic investments. The heat loss calculations are based on data for properties that are located in the Stockholm region, but also easy to change depending on the situation. The calculations are done on pipes made out of cast iron, which still is the most common type of drain pipe in Sweden, and these are the pipes that relining is usually made on. The calculations that needed to take several variables into account have been done in MatlabR2014a and the thermos dynamical properties that were used in those calculations have been extracted from EES.Three different types of heat losses in the vent stack have been taken into consideration in this thesis.

Kolbäcksleden i Umeå har breddats med två körfält till 2+2 väg med sex cirkulationsplatser, en planskild trafikplats, fem nya samt sju breddade gång- och cykelportar (GC-portar). Projektet upphandlades som en utförandeentreprenad med Trafikverket som beställare. Vägen var färdigprojekterad men broarna projekterades av Peab med Ramböll som konstruktör. Detta examensarbete kommer att se över hur man i ett tidigt skede kan upptäcka tekniska risker vid breddning av plattrambroar. Två broar har valts att studeras och jämföras. En utan vattenläckage och en med vattenläckage i fogar. Att bredda en bro kan spara tid och material jämfört med att riva och bygga en ny.

Denna rapport syftar till att reda ut vad utländska turister anser om priserna i Stockholm och om höga priser på en destination kan resultera i att turister väljer bort det som resmål. Detta har vi valt att undersöka genom ett kvantitativt förfarande och vi har även valt att utgå från konsumentbeteende för att förstå hur turisters beslutsprocess ser ut i valet av resmål. Vårt resultat visar på att priset på destinationen och då framförallt hotellpriserna och priser på transport är en stor faktor i turisters beslutsprocesser. Dessutom svarade en stor andel av våra respondenter att de skulle välja bort ett resmål om de ansåg att priserna var för höga. Majoriteten ansåg att turistprodukterna i Stockholm vi presenterade var från medel upp till väldigt dyra.

In January 2007 the Öresund committy changed its statutes to become a more politically oriented lobby organization. This change can be interpreted as one part of a continuously evolving process where the Öresund region is emancipating itself from the national states in a multi-level European environment. By focusing on this latest development the thesis puts forward the importance of political institutions, as well as politicians and civil servants as actors in them, as crucial factors in the process where the region is gaining political power. The thesis shows how the political cross-border cooperation in the Öresund region is being institutionalized which affects its power relations to other levels in the multi-level system, predominantly the national states. In other words, there is a connection between power and institutionalization.The Öresund committee has by gaining better access to policymaking agendas on the national levels proven that the organizational change has already started to bear fruit.

Det saknas forskning inom området ledarskap för den skandinaviska byggsektorn i allmänhet. Den här studien tar sin utgångspunkt i medarbetarens syn på ledarskapet i ett större byggprojekt hos ett av nordens ledande bygg- och anläggningsföretag. Studien är gjord som en kvalitativ undersökning och sex intervjuer genomfördes med representativa medarbetare från organisationen. Respondenterna var en blandad grupp, några tillsvidare anställda hos PEAB, andra tillfälligt inhyrda. Frågorna berörde de anställdas upplevelse av det utövade ledarskap som de själva exponerats för från sina närmaste ledare.

Sustainable urban development is a concept that has become increasingly important as the urbanization continues and more and more challenges are focused to the cities.  The Swedish government and authorities regulates and sets goals for how a sustainable urban development is to be achieved. These laws and goals are vaguely defined, which leads to disputes between the actors about how the term should be interpreted. By examining Västermalms Strand, an urban development project in Stockholm, this study strives to describe how involved actors interpret the concept of sustainable urban development and what the consequences of this are for urban development in Stockholm from an ecological, social and economic perspective. A case study has been carried out where a document study and interviews have been conducted. The interviews were conducted with four key actors from the private and public sector.
