The aim of this study was to examine the possibilities to enter the regular labour market for pupils and young adults with intellectual disabilities. The method used is tape-recorded qualitative interviews with; Two pupils with intellectual disabilities, studying the last year at a special school. Two young adults with intellectual disabilities, former pupils at a special school and at the moment in search of work at a Public Employment Service office for young adults with disabilities. Furthermore were interviews made with two professionals, one student counsellor at a special school and one representative at a Public Employment Service office for young adults with disabilities. For analysing the empirical data, Iris Marion Young's theory about Five Faces of Oppression, Crip theory and Dalrymple and Burkes theory about empowerment was used.

Detta examensarbete innefattar en kundenkätundersökning i Kalix kommun där 500 st slumpvis utvalda personer får medverka genom att besvara 47 st frågor som handlar bland annat om gator, parker, vatten och avlopp samt sophämtning i Kalix kommun. En viktig del i en kommuns trovärdighet gentemot medborgarna är att de får göra sin röst hörd. Ett sätt är att medborgarna får medverka i en kundenkätundersökning där de kan svara på frågor som gäller den tekniska servicen i kommunen. Med hjälp av denna undersökning kan kommunen ta del av medborgarnas svar och synpunkter och bemöta dem. Syftet med examensarbetet är att undersöka vad Kalixborna anser om kommunens gator, parker, vatten och avlopp och sophämtningen, och hur de kan vara med och påverka kommunens tekniska service och på det sättet underlätta för Kalix kommun till förbättringar inom dessa områden.

SyfteSyftet med intervjuundersökningen var att ta reda på om eleverna medverkar i planeringen i ämnet Idrott och Hälsa och vad de kan påverka. Delaktighet har olika innebörder i olika sammanhang, delaktighet i yrkeslivet kan handla om arbetsmoral och delaktighet i skolan om integrering eller elevinflytande.Metod6 elever i åk 4-6 intervjuades i en ostrukturerad intervjuundersökning där de först deltog i en gruppdiskussion. Från dessa sex elever gjordes ett urval där tre elever fick medverka i en personlig intervjuundersökning för att ta reda på hur väl eleverna kände sig delaktiga och vilket inflytande de hade i skolan i planeringen inom ämnet Idrott och Hälsa . Vid intervjutillfället användes papper och penna.ResultatEleverna ansåg att läraren bestämmer det mesta i innehållet i ämnet Idrott och Hälsa. De aktiviteter eleverna hade varit med och planerat med läraren var olika lekar och bollsporter.

AbstractMatchmaking on an organisational level? about co-operation between municipal introduction-units and voluntary organisationsEssay in Political Science D, by Rebecka Johansson, spring 2006The aim of this study is to examine co-operation between municipal introduction-units, which work to integrate newly arrived immigrants and refuges, and voluntary organisations in Sweden. The essay is a comparative case study which examines three local authorities and the main questions are;- Do voluntary organisations constitute a functioning co-operation partner to the municipal introduction-units? Are there conditions for future co-operation?The answer to the questions is that there are no, or rarely any, co-operation between voluntary organisations and municipal introduction-units. It is difficult to judge whether there are conditions for future co-operation.

E-handeln har haft en enorm tillväxt de senaste åren och börjar konkurrera ut detaljhandeln på marknaden. Internets utveckling har bidragit till att konsumenter idag kan handla enklare och billigare genom e-handel. Ett problem som företagen ständigt står inför är att identifiera vilka faktorer som tillfredställer konsumentens behov på bästa möjliga sätt.Syftet med denna uppsats är att undersöka hur faktorerna; avstånd, tid, pris, bra service och information i relation till varandra påverkar konsumentens val mellan e-handel respektive detaljhandel vid köp av mobiltelefon och böcker. Dessutom avser vi att studera likheter och skillnader mellan män och kvinnor.Resultatet från denna undersökning bygger på en kvantitativ enkätundersökning utförd med hjälp av studenter i Ekonomikum vid Uppsala Universitet. Studenter anser att pris och information är de viktigaste faktorerna vid köp av mobiltelefon, medan pris och tid är mest viktiga vid köp av böcker.

Kommunen har som mål i samhällsbyggandet att förnya och förtäta det bebyggda stadsområdet. De vill fortsätta med stadsbyggandet bland annat längs med Bäveån till Inre Hamnområdet. Kommunen vill även ha en blandad bebyggelse med bostäder, verksamheter och service. Att förnya och förtäta i befintliga områden, i det här fallet Inre hamnområdet, leder därför till korta avstånd för de boende till arbete och service. I och med en utbyggnad av Inre Hamnområdet kommer centrum att utökas mot sydväst och därmed få större vattenkontakt. En förnyelse skall stärka samt komplettera stadens centrum och attraktivitet. Inre Hamnområdet utgör med andra ord ett högintressant område med ett centralt läge med möjligheter till bra kommunikationsmöjligheter, service och attraktivt boende.

In today?s ever-evolving society the use of cash is replaced by digital services in the banking sector. Some local banks restrict manual cash handling while others remove it completely. This essay examines how management accounting is affected by restricted cash handling. The theory clarifies that management accounting strategies create guidelines and provides specific framework for employees and managers in the organization.

The purpose of this paper is to investigate and analyse the private researchers encounter with the Royal Library, national library of Sweden. The main focus is on answering the two questions: who is the private researcher and what is his/her impression of the Royal Library? These questions are answered from the vantage point of the following theoretical perspectives: library anxiety, Bourdieu, library architecture, gender studies and service management. The methods used are qualitative interviews, and textual analysis using the printout of these taped interviews along with notes and an earlier user study as material. The conclusions are that barriers with staff is the most frequent factor of library anxiety in the private researcher at the Royal Library, and mechanical barriers the least frequent.

The purpose of this study is to examine immigrants' experiences of social services' treatmentand their expectations of social services. In this study we have used the following questions:how immigrants have experienced the treatment of the social service, the way in whichimmigrants would like to be treated by social services as well as what kind of beliefs andexpectations immigrants have concerning the social services' duties and powers. We haveused a qualitative method in the study that consists of ten semi-structured interviews. Thetheoretical concepts we have used are culture, ethnicity, cultural competence, professionalismand social psychology. The survey reveals a majority of negative experiences, such as afeeling of being ?tossed around?, suspicion and discrimination by the caseworkers due to theethnicity of the respondents.

The purpose of this study has been to investigate which factors are important with foster home placing, to achieve a positive result for the child. The questions that we have focused on is the importance of the child's earlier experiences and relations, the foster homes attitude and approach, the social service organization and the cooperation between these concerned parties. We have also looked at the importance that the relation between the biological family, the child and the foster home can have. This study has been carried out using qualitative interviews with several foster homes, social welfare secretaries and a researcher in the area. We have also chosen to separate the foster homes on the basis of two foster homes only accepting teenagers while other accepting younger children.The theoretical concepts we have chosen to use are connected to attachment theory and the ecology of human development point of view.

The number of elderly people has been steadily rising in Sweden for a long time and as a proportion of the population, the increase has been even greater. The population structure in the country means that in the not too distant future, there will be a sharp rise in demand for care and elderly accommodation.A tighter credit market as a consequence of new rules and regulations with a stricter capital and liquidity requirements combined with market turbulence, has made financing property developement more difficult and more expensive which has resulted in many companies using alternative sources of finance.DEmand for safe investments with low risk is high as the market is volatile and banks, pension funds, fund management and life insurance companies are looking for investments outside the stock market that can deliver a safe return in the longer term. There has also been a debate about whether institutional investors as the AP pension funds really should own properties directly.As properties for care and elderly accommodation are definable assets with predictable payment flows, long leases and often a local authority as tenant that would not risk cancelling payments, these would be highly appropriate for securitisation, i.e. to issue bonds or other tradable securities based on the cash flows from the assets.In other words, the securitisation of rent flows would offer the opportunity to create an attractive investment product of the type being demanded, well suited to institutional investor requirements, while at the same time, it can provide an attractive financing opportunity to meet the need for more care and elderly accommodation..

The advantages with product placement in blogs compared to traditional media is shown in earlier empirical findings where consumers found blog posts more credible and informative than a corresponding article in a web paper. It can therefore be argued that the informal structure and personal tonality of the blog reinforces the effects of product placement on brand attitude and intention to buy as the consumer has no persuasion knowledge and does not detect the rewriting of the product as commercial.This paper?s overall aim is to provide concrete implications for how to manage product placement on fashion blogs. The purpose of the essay is therefore to investigate the communicative effects of product placement in fashion blogs as well as to examine if a revelation of commercial interest behind a blog posts about a certain brand effects the consumers? attitude towards the blog and/or brand attitude and intention to buy.

The aim of this study was to describe and understand parents? perspectives in aid assessment for children according to The Swedish Act (1993:387) concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments (Lag 1993:387 om stöd och service till vissa funktionshindrade, LSS). The study took place in the county of Kronoberg, Sweden, and was based on a total of nine qualitative interviews. Four interviews were made with parents? of children who has interventions according to LSS (1993:387) and five interviews were made with LSS case workers. In our study we saw that parents? perspectives often is the largest amount of information that case workers take into account when assessing aid and as a case worker you listen to the parents perspectives to capture the child?s and the family?s needs. It also came clear that the parents? perspective is not only about the child?s needs, but also includes the parent?s own needs and their family?s needs. The parents in the study felt that they made the decision about the choice of aid and considered themselves as the one who decides the family?s requirements. It turned out that treatment and understanding from the case workers was important for gaining access to the best help and making parents feel listened to. Parental responsibility was of great importance for the assessment, and it often led to disagreement between parents and case workers. During the study, we saw that power existed in the relationship between case workers and parents, but that it could be moved and changed during the time of aid assessment..

The main purpose with this master's thesis was to develop a survey with the intention to examine what expectations the JM AB:s customer had on a future garden and also to discuss if the lawn has a symbolic meaning in gardens. The lion's share of the thesis is based on a survey, aimed at people in the company's customer database. The intention was to examine what expectations they had on their future garden and if their expectations were met when they later bought a house from the company. The work also consists of interviews and visits to areas with newly built homes. I interpreted the result from my surveys as the lawn on its own being is a strong symbol for a garden and also signals a social status of the owner. To the company the pre made lawn on a role is a way of saving time and easily achieve what the customer request. The company wants to create a concept of a "preset-garden" that meets the company's vision as well as the expectations of the customer.
