Det finns ett behov att hitta och rekrytera skickliga spelare till sin fotbollsklubb på ett kostnadseffektivt sätt. Den nuvarande processen med talangscouter är tidsödande och kostsam. Automatiserad dataanalys kan underlätta sökandet efter de önskade spelarna. Då automatiserad dataanalys med semifiktiv data inte undersökts i någon större utsträckning tidigare hade det varit intressant att ta reda på hur väl vanliga tekniker inom data mining fungerar när de appliceras på semifiktiv data.Ändamålet med studien var att med hjälp av kvantitativa experiment skapa prediktiva modeller som förutspår om en fotbollsspelare kommer att öka sina marknadsandelar i framtiden. Studien hade även för avsikt att ta reda på om det, med hjälp av semifiktiv data, gick att skapa tolkningsbara modeller som gav generella insikter om viktiga attribut hos fotbollsspelare på olika positioner.Studiens forskningsmetod var kvantitativ forskning då det är en metod som värdesätter struktur och objektivitet; vilket var viktigt för studien och dess forskningsfrågor.

The goal with this work is to study the settlement during the Middle Neolithic B. Looking at the settlement pattern of the Battle Axe C culture (BAC) in Scania we might be able to get a picture of how the social structure of the BAC looked like and how it differed from' earlier and later culture groups.. What can a change in settlement tell archaeologists today about this and what problems do archeologist have to take into consideration..

Bakgrund: Symptom vid torra ögon kan vara en känsla av torrhet, irritation, okomfort, främmande kropps känsla och ökad produktion av tårar. Torrhetskänslan varierar under dagen men är mest påtaglig framåt kvällen. 3 av 4 som upplever symptom för torra ögon har ett tunnare lipidskikt. Diagnostisering av normala, måttligt torra och torra ögon kan dels göras med hjälp av en symtomenkät t.ex. TERTC-DEQ.Syfte: Att undersöka om lipidskiktet förändras i tjocklek från förmiddag jämfört med eftermiddag under samma dag.Metod: I studien deltog 6 män och 21 kvinnor med en medelålder på 23.3 ± 2.1 år.

The chow-chow breed is considered to have a low fertility and this report is an in depth study of the reproductive functions of this breed in Sweden. Only 53 % of the Chow-chow matings results in litters. Previous studies of other breeds in commercial kennels shows mating results around 85-90 %, but this has not been investigated in hobby kennels and most Chow-chows which are bred from in Sweden, are kept as family pets. Contrary to most other breeds, Chow-chows show a seasonal reproductive pattern and most litters are born in the autumn. The influence of the month of mating on pregnancy rate and litter size was found to be not significant, but can be considered a trend. Thirty-nine females with previous known fertility problems where studied. Some of them had reached puberty extremely early, at an age between 4-5 months, and many of the bitches showed great fluctuations in intervals between oestrus cycles. Some of the females showed abnormalities such as very short oestrus intervals of only 2-3 months, probably without ovulating.

3D modeling is a common tool in landscape architecture. Today, there have been new ways in which virtual 3D models are successful tools in the dialogue with the public. These new methods involve children and young people who are groups that is hard to reach and engage in citizen dialogues. The purpose of this work was to investigate how a virtual 3D model works in the landscape architect?s communication with the public through the project Gruvstadsparken in Kiruna. Through workshops, I wanted to communicate Gruvstadsparken to get ideas from participants on how the park can be used and be revisited.

Sandvik Mining and Construction är ett av Sandvik koncernens affärsområden och har en världsledande position på marknaden för maskiner och tekniska lösningar för bergbrytning m.mMinBas II är ett samarbetsprojekt mellan ett stort antal företag och universitet där staten står som huvudman och löper till 2010.Uppgiften med examensarbetet var att se om det fanns någon metod för att kartlägga de interna transporterna och beräkna deras energiåtgång i en bergtäckt. I brist på en befintlig skulle det tas fram en ny metod och sedan testa denna genom att genomföra fältstudier i en bergtäkt tillhörande Skånska Makadam AB för att sedan göra beräkningar på energiåtgången där.Volvo CE har under arbetet ställt upp med information och även givit oss SiteSimulation, ett simuleringsprogram för simulering av användning av deras maskiner.En del av arbetet var också att utreda hur energiåtgången ändras om förkrossen placeras på en högre respektive lägre nivå än det ställe där bergbrytningen genomförs.För att införskaffa underlag till beräkningarna har fältstudier genomförts i Skånska Makadam AB:s bergtäkt. One such minority that have been present in many countries and managed to avoid becoming completly assimilated are the jewish people. Their dream of a state of their own eventually lead to the founding of the state of Israel where they themselves are now in majority. The purpose of this report is to study how the jews historic experiances has affected the political parties in Israel, how they choose to meet the ?challenge? of their own minorities och whatever they treat different minorites differently.

The forestry companies? operational planning process is these days dependent on reliable, efficient and user-friendly computer-based support systems. This study is an evaluation of Holmen Skog's current computer-based systems. The aim of this study is to: ? investigate the work pattern of the production managers when using the information system to plan the harvesting operation; ? investigate the efficiency and user friendliness of the information system with the different work patterns and to find the strengths, weaknesses and bottlenecks in the current system; ? find out if the type of object, the volume, the area of the harvesting object affects the time and work pattern; ? examine how this type of study is met by the employees and what factors that is critical to avoid feelings of intrusion. The conclusions of the study were: ? there is a large variation between the work patterns of the production managers and the time spend to perform the operational planning; ? the mainframe computer system used by Holmen Skog is clear, has short response times, is robust and conveys relevant information; ? the computer systems are however divided in many subsystems.

The aim of this thesis is to investigate the correlation between the price of electric power and investments within the Swedish basic industry. Using regression analysis, the authors test for correlation between the electricity prices and the basic industry, defined as the pulp and paper industry, the mining industry, the steel and metal industry and the basic chemical industry. Moreover, five variables found in the literature on investment decisions are being used as a means of comparison. The results suggest that the electricity price affects the investment decisions within the basic chemical industry as well as the steel and metal industry. On a more abstract level, this thesis contributes to the understanding of one of the properties of the Swedish GDP..

SammandragÄmneHur ser redovisningen av efterbehandlingskostnader ut inom svensk gruvnäring?SyfteDenna uppsats syftar till att undersöka hur tre svenska gruvföretags värdering av efterbehandlingskostnader påverkas av använd redovisningsprincip samt söka finna hur använd metod påverkar relevansen hos externredovisningen, som underlag för investeringsbedömning.GenomförandeUppsatsen bygger på en kvalitativ studie av tre svenska gruvföretags redovisning av efterbehandlingskostnader. Företagen är Boliden, LKAB samt Lundin Mining. Representanter från gruvföretagen har intervjuats samt en person från branschorganisationen SveMin.SlutsatserFörfattarna finner att det finns skillnader mellan företagens sätt att redovisa efterbehandlingskostnader, beroende av att olika redovisningsprinciper tillämpas.Traditioner inom redovisningen har format två redovisningsprinciper vilka har kommit att ge redovisningen olika krav. Kraven som ställs har medfört att redovisningen skiljer sig åt.

I den här uppsatsen beskrivs en ansats till att med hjälp av statistiska metoder förutse utfallet i förmögenhetsra?ttsliga dispositiva tvistemål. Logistiska- och multilogistiska regressionsmodeller skattades på data för 13299 tvistemål från 5 tingsrätter och användes  till att förutse utfallet för 1522 tvistemål från 3 andra tingsrätter.  Modellerna presterade bättre än slumpen vilket ger stöd för slutsatsen att man kan använda statistiska metoder för att förutse utfallet i denna typ av tvistemål..

Student decided to build website in ASP.NET. Technical indicators for this project only consist of those who give buy and sell-signals via cross-over, no divergence or pattern finding.This project has three questions that define this project. It?s important that there is good functionality so that performing an analysis is perceived as simple, one question is therefore; what functionality for website is needed in order for analysis to be perceived as more simple?Technical analysis is a pretty complex subject and demands an interface that is perceived as easy to understand and easy to use, it?s therefore important that the interface is well designed, second question is therefore; how should the interface be designed to be user-friendly?When systems grow large they often become hard to develop and later on unmaintainable because of the accumulated complexity and dependency between classes, the code is a mess, the last question is therefore; how can the systems complexity be eased with object-oriented design principles?Jakob Nielsens ten heuristics for User Interface Design were used as inspiration for designing the interface for the website.

Genom en kvalitativ innehållsanalys närstuderas artiklar i de rikstäckande tidningarna Aftonbladet, Dagens Nyheter, Expressen och Svenska Dagbladet. Syftet med undersökningen är att ta reda på om rapporteringen kring den chilenska gruvolyckan är ett fall av trivialiserad journalistik - där ekonomisk vinst går före journalistisk kvalitet. De frågeställningar som ligger till grund för analysen är: Hur ser medierapporteringen ut om gruvolyckan i de utvalda tidningarna under den angivna perioden? Hur dramatiseras händelseförloppet under den angivna perioden i de utvalda tidningarna? Vad kännetecknar berättelsen om den chilenska gruvolyckan under den angivna perioden i de utvalda tidningarna? Utgångspunkten är redaktionellt nyhetsmaterial under den 10 till den 17 oktober 2010 som handlar om de 33 männens sista tid i gruvan. Resultaten visar att med hjälp av en överdriven otrohetsaffär, konflikter, lyckliga återföreningar och spektakulära erbjudanden skapades och dramatiserades berättelsen om gruvolyckan. .

Background. Immunohistochemistry is a useful method in the differential diagnosis between pleural mesotheliomas and metastatic adenocarcinomas in the pleura. Cytokeratin 20 and 7 have been used successfully as markers in studies determining primary location of adenocarcinomas from metastases. The current study is a complementary research of archived paraffininbedded material of cases with cancer origin. This study contributes a bigger statistical material that may facilitate the search for unknown primary site of adenocarcinoma by identification of metastatic cells in the pleura.Methods.

The purpose of this master dissertation is to show an example of how to renovate three different parks in an area of national interest in Höganäs, Sweden aiming to deal with their heritage value as well as making them attractive to today?s user. The question formulation can be described as following: How can i as a landscape architect renovate parks with different characters conserving their existing qualities. By studying and documenting the park´s history and current usage and using methods of evaluating a park?s heritage value ( Kulturhistorisk värdering av bebyggelse, Unnerbäck 2002) i could conclude which qualities to conserve and suggest and motivate what features to add or renovate.
