Abstract This thesis is a case study aiming to give explanations to Russia?s annexation of Crimea in March 2014. By using three different theoretical perspectives, realism, regional hegemony and constructivism, the aim is to find different but also complementing explanations to the case. The theories realism and regional hegemony are related and also similar to each other, but still contributes with some different focuses on the case. Both realism and regional hegemony has their main focus on the sovereign state?s security and their power militarily, politically and economically.

Syftet med studien var att belysa faktorer som påverkar omvårdnaden av patienter med ett intravenöst drogmissbruk (IDU). Bakgrund: Sjuksköterskor har ofta bristande kunskap om droger och om hur man ska hantera den kliniska omvårdnaden av patienter som missbrukar droger. Bristande kunskap om drogmissbruk bland vårdpersonalen skapar rädsla vilket i sin tur kan leda till att IDU får ett sämre mottagande. Det förekommer även fördomar om denna patientgruppen bland personalen. Metod: studien genomfördes som en allmän litteraturstudie baserad på åtta vetenskapliga artiklar inom tidsintervallet 2003-2009, sökta i databaserna PubMed, PsyhInfo, ELIN@lund samt Cinahl.

In this study we pose the question if you through finding patterns in implementation of checkpoints can find ways to tailor the experience of the game A Story About My Uncle to hardcore gamers. To find out the answer we had hardcore players playing a modified level from the game A Story About My Uncle that was used as stimulus material for the following focus group interview. The analysis of the gathered material resulted in four patterns that can be used when implementing checkpoints to tailor the experience of the game A Story About My Uncle to hardcore gamers. Elements of checkpoints that our study showed to be important when it comes to how the game is experienced are density, placement and clearness..

Munnen är en viktig del av kroppen, men trots det så blir den lätt skild från övriga kroppen och placerad i en egen kategori. Komplikationer kan uppstå om inte munvården sköts och därför är det viktigt att sjuksköterskan har kunskap om munhälsa. Hur människor uppfattar sin munhälsa är individuellt och kan ge bra underlag i omvårdnadsarbetet. Syftet var att beskriva sjuksköterskans och patientens syn på munhälsa och dess påverkan på välbefinnandet. Arbetet genomfördes som en litteraturstudie och 13 artiklar användes till resultatet.

?Sjuksköterskor har en nära relation till patienter och anhöriga och bör efter bästa förmåga möjliggöra deras delaktighet i vården. Trots att riktlinjer om hjärt-lungräddning (HLR) menar att beslutskompetenta patienter ska vara delaktiga i beslutet om ej-HLR, fungerar det inte alltid så i praktiken. I och med detta kan sjuksköterskor få svårt att hantera situationer som uppstår kring beslutet om ej-HLR. Syftet var att belysa patienters respektive anhörigas delaktighet i beslutet om ej-HLR.

The purpose of this thesis was to describe what factors influence consumers? choice when buying probiotic products. Functional Foods have been predicted a bright future on the food market but so far the concept have not been embraced by the consumers. The reasons for this are many and not clearly understood. Positive health effects are what set a functional food product apart from traditional food stuffs of the same type.

Kommunikation är ett viktigt redskap för att förmedla information och få kontakt med andra människor. Ett sätt att lösa de problem som uppstår i samtal med patienter som inte talar samma språk är att använda tolk. Tolken har två uppdrag eftersom han eller hon företräder både patient och vårdpersonal. Tolkens uppgift är att möjliggöra kommunikation mellan personer som inte talar samma språk, hans eller hennes roll är att vara neutral i det som sägs mellan patient och vårdpersonal. För att uppnå en nära relation till patienten behöver vårdpersonal och tolk vara engagerade och tillgängliga i kommunikationen med varandra och patienten.

This study is based on interviews with heads of unit, care staff and senior representatives from a total of six people. We have in this study directed our focus on care quality in the elderly as a concept in development. It appears, when the elderly do not have any dependents, it is even more important that staff supports some extra where no relatives are involved.Quality of life is the broader concept of good quality care and where a good quality of care is a necessary condition for a good quality of life. According to the social services care is the target that older people will live a good life and be allowed to live in a safe environment, which we intend to investigate in this study. Opportunity for greater influence should now be given to older people and their families on how interventions should be designed and implemented.

Background:The definition of mental illness is characterized by a lack of management regarding mood, thoughts or behavior. It is difficult for the person to cope with everyday duties as well as relationships with other people.The study revealed that the society should take action to prevent social isolation for those with mental illness. The central concepts of care theory is love, learning and well-being, where nurses' conditions and actions create results in the patient.Aim:Describe skills and prerequisites nurses need at the meeting of patients with mental illness. A further aim was to examine the ethical considerations included studies made use of.Method:A descriptive literature studyMain result:Nurses feel they do not have skills regarding mental illness. When nurses care for patients with mental illness are often formed stigmatizations regarding these patient groups and care will suffer.

New innovation and technology have influenced the development of product development processes and the four largest banks in Sweden have more or less been forced to adapt their products and services along new customer requirements. It may therefore be considered appropriate to involve customers in this process. This by collecting customer information and allow customers to influence the process to a greater extent. In today´s labour market, men and women are segregated, both vertically and horizontally. Exceptions to the rule of gender segregation are few. There is, however, one managerial group where women and men are equal in numbers: school principals. In a short period of time, the distribution in terms of sex among principals in Sweden has changed dramatically. How does gender equality in numbers affect gender equality in a qualitative sense? That is the focus of this thesis.

En terapeutisk relation är viktig i omvårdnaden av patienter med ätstörningar och det är viktigt att sjuksköterskan är medveten om dess betydelse i omvårdnaden. Syftet var att undersöka hur en terapeutisk relation skapas samt dess betydelse i omvårdnaden mellan sjuksköterskan och patienten med ätstörning. För sjuksköterskor kan det vara utmanande att etablera en terapeutisk relation till patienter med ätstörningar, då det är vanligt att dessa patienter inte har sjukdomsinsikt. Sjuksköterskan kan använda sig av olika strategier och verktyg för att skapa en terapeutisk relation och en vårdande miljö. Studien genomfördes som en litteraturstudie och 12 vetenskapliga artiklar analyserades.

The Third International Assessment of Educational Progress (TIMMS) and the Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA) during the last decades regarding the results of mathematics teaching shows that China have a better performance than Sweden?s.Swedish teacher-guidelines focus on developing student?s individual interest and confidence for mathematics. In the Chinese teaching-guidelines for Mathematics Curriculum Standards, Ordninary Senior Secondary, the focus is given on: Elevate their mathematics literacy necessary for future citizenship and Development of citizen´s qualities (s.3).Teachers are the primary factors that impact teaching and learning of mathematics. Two teachers from Sweden and two from China were interviewed and their methods were compared in my study. The aim of my study was to understand mathematics teaching in China and Sweden.

Background:Mental illness has increased in Sweden and the individuals seeking care expect to be met with respect. The way patients perceive themselves to be treated by health care professionals plays a central part to care and treatment of patients, and the patients experience will decide how future care will proceed. The majority of complaints from patients with mental illness suggest that the way they are treated in health care is inadequate. For people with mental illness it is crucial how they perceive themselves to be treated since poor treatment can lead to reluctance in seeking future help. Aim: The purpose of this study was to describe how people with mental illness perceive themselves to be treated in primary health care.

SAMMANFATTNING Att möta och vårda personer som är allvarligt sjuka och döende är svårt. Syftet med studien var att belysa på vilket sätt som sjuksköterskan kan förmedla empati till en patient i livets slutskede samt att beskriva hur den empatiska relationen kan förstås med hjälp av Joyce Travelbees omvårdnadsteori. Studien är litteraturbaserad och bygger på engelskspråkiga artiklar publicerade i vetenskapliga tidskrifter. Studien bygger på sex vetenskapliga artiklar publicerade mellan 1997 och 2000, varav fem är kvalitativa studier och en är litteraturstudie. I resultatet framkom att en god relation mellan sjuksköterska och patient är av betydelse för en empatisk relation, samt olika kommunikationsvägar och socialt samspel för att få patienten att uppleva livskvalitet.
