Bakgrund: Forskningen har visat att humor är ett socialt fenomen som kan ses som ett universellt språk. Den har visat sig påverka en rad faktorer positivt, däribland vårdmiljön, relationen mellan sjuksköterska och patient samt patientens hälsa. Humor är inte enbart positivt i en vårdkontext, däremot finns det tillfällen då den bör undvikas.Syfte: Syftet är att belysa användandet av humor i mötet mellan sjuksköterska och patient.Metod: Examensarbetet är en litteraturöversikt där tio vetenskapliga artiklar valts ut, skillnader och likheter har identifierats och slutligen sammanställts.Resultat: Resultatet består av tre huvudteman: Humorns inverkan på avdelningens vårdatmosfär, interaktion mellan sjuksköterska och patient samt humorns effekter. Under huvudtemat interaktion mellan sjuksköterska och patient hittades två underkategorier: kommunikation mellan sjuksköterska och patient samt förlorade tillfällen till humor. I huvudtemat humorns effekter hittades underkategorierna: humor som strategi samt humor som lindring.Diskussion: I resultatdiskussionen följer en diskussion där resultatet implementeras i Travelbees omvårdnadsteori, Human-to-Human Relationship Theory, men också hur ny forskning förhåller sig till resultatet.

Bakgrund: Ätstörning är en allvarlig och komplex sjukdom. Den är svår att bemöta för vårdpersonal och en känsla av maktlöshet inför vårdandet av dessa patienter är vanlig. Det är många gånger svårt att få patienten att inse allvaret i sjukdomen och ilska hos sjuksköterskan kan väckas när försök till hjälp avvisas. Syfte: Att belysa sjuksköterskans möjligheter, svårigheter och hinder för att stödja tillfrisknande hos ungdomar med ätstörningar. Metod: En litteraturstudie, som grundar sig i analys av 6 kvalitativa studier valda från databaser CINAHL och SCOPUS.

ABSTRACT The persons whom the authorized nurse encounters in hospital wards and nursing homes are in great extent elderly persons. According to Wasserman (2000), about 30 to 40 percent among these, show signs of depression. To be aware of the signs of depression, and how an authorized nurse can support the patient is therefore of great value. The introduction to this study describes the symptoms of depression and how depression in elders is expressed. It also describes treatment possibilities and nursing aspects of concern.

Hur sjuksköterskan bemöter en aggressiv eller våldsam patient kan vara avgörande för om mer aggression eller våld trappas upp. Konflikter som kan leda till att hot och våld uppstår sker oftast i interaktionen mellan sjuksköterska och patient. Därför behöver hon kunskaper om olika faktorer som har betydelse för bemötandet av hotfulla eller aggressiva patienter.Syfte: Syftet var att belysa faktorer som har betydelse för sjuksköterskans bemötande i hot- och våldssituationer inom psykiatrin.Metod: Studien genomfördes som en litteraturstudie och resultatet är baserades på elva vetenskapliga artiklar.Resultat: I resultatet framkom tre kategorier som hade betydelse för sjuksköterskans bemötande i hot- och våldssituationer. Dessa var sjuksköterskans kommunikationsförmåga, relation till patienten och personlighet.Diskussion: Våldsincidenter inom psykiatrin kan begränsas om sjuksköterskan har kunskap om vad hon förmedlar genom sin attityd, kommunikation och känslor.

One of the teachers worked at an elementary school (for 30 years), three teachers worked at middle schools (20, 10 and 8 years of work experience) and two of the teachers interviewed worked at a high school (30 and 3 years).  ResultsThe majority of teachers feel that a wide variety of activities, adapted to an individual level, and the understanding of a healthy lifestyle are important in order for the teacher to present the value of physical activity from a lifelong perspective.The teachers felt they had sufficient material in order to present the value of physical activity, where the school budget provided the teachers with materials every year. In addition to the budget, all the teachers had 12 hours of professional development every year where they could attend conferences or their own choice of professional development.ConclusionWith the help in forms of professional development offered by the school, conferences, meeting with other teachers, and their own choice of development, the teachers instruction techniques could increase which could help the teachers to find the pupils? interest for different kinds of physical activities.KeywordsPhysical education and health, physical activity, SOC, sense of coherence..

The aim of this study is to find and highlight the differences and similarities in the strategic communication in two real estate businesses with different proprietaries. In order to achieve the purpose, theories and previous research on public relations, strategic communication, mediatization, framing and new public management has been used. The study was conducted through interviews with two different organizations, Lerstenen who is based in Umeå, and Övikshem who is based in Örnsköldsvik. The analysis and results showed that the key difference between the firms was the spontaneity that influenced the private one, in contrast to the public firm that relied on solid structures to manage their communication. The results also showed that differences in basis conditions both allowed and hindered the possibilities with the communicative efforts that the two firms could do..

Studiens syfte var att undersöka sjuksköterskors upplevelser av att ge stöd till anhöriga till patienter inom palliativ hemsjukvård.Designen var deskriptiv med en kvalitativ ansats. Informanterna var strategiskt utvalda och bestod av fem sjuksköterskor som arbetade i ett palliativt hemsjukvårdsteam i Upplands län. Bandinspelade personliga intervjuer analyserades med en kvalitativ innehållsanalys.Sjuksköterskorna upplevde att deras arbete kändes meningsfullt och utvecklande. Att arbeta i team var en mycket positiv aspekt. De svårigheter som framkom handlade om att anpassa sig efter olika situationer.

The purpose of this paper is to explore the social worker?s perspective on working for the government as a professional in care of children, in relation to the family's right to self determination. The essay's empirical material is gathered from qualitative, semi-structured interviews with social workers who work with children and youth in communities and districts in Skåne and Stockholm City, Sweden. The analysis was conducted in line with theories of social constructivism. The results and analysis show that the interviewed social workers did not believe that the state has too much power over the citizen.
