Diabetes mellitus is a metabolic disorder that brings great changes in every individual's way of living. The goal in diabetes treatment is that the individual will be able to live a normal life, with normal length. To achieve this there is need to avoid complications, both acute and long-term. To be able to do this this the patient need knowledge about the illness and how to adjust pharmacological treatment to diet and exercise. In this, patient education is an important part.

Biodiversity is essential for human well-being and it is defined as the genetic variation within species and the variety of species and ecosystems. Biodiversity provides several ecosystem services which are necessary for human beings but there are different threats towards the biodiversity. The biodiversity linked to the forest in Sweden are threatened, about 50 % of the red-listed species in Sweden are associated with forests. This is linked to the commercial exploitation of the boreal forest in Sweden which started 200 years ago. The forestry the last 50 years, with clear-cuts, have contributed to a fragmented forest landscape.

The purpose of this study was to examine the threats from climate change coverage in the media. The climate threats start to appear more frequently in the media and because of that it is important to examine what the media conveys to the viewers and readers since it may effect how people act when it comes to climate threats. In this study newspaper has been examined, more specifically daily press and evening press. The papers chosen was Aftonbladet and Expressen, which represented evening press, and Dagens Nyheter represented daily press.The method applied was both a quantitative and qualitative text analysis. With the quantitative method variables were formed and tested against the material.

Bemötandet blir då en viktig aspekt i en bra vårdrelation mellan sjuksköterskan och den döende patienten som bygger på tillit, trygghet och respekt. Introduction: In Sweden the definition of ambulance nursing is the examination and treatment of sick or injured people done by ambulance nurses during transport.  This means not only focus on the illness or injury but also the human being treated. The paramedic service must be based on the presumption that the medical needs of the patients are guaranteed, and that the expectations and demands of the public are satisfied. Competence and availability are basic terms for a well-functional paramedic service. There is a lot of pressure put on the people working with pre-hospital nursing. One mistake can lead to serious consequences for the patient.

Det råder brist på forskning som berör psykiatrisk slutenvård utifrån ett patientperspektiv och studier efterfrågas som på djupet kartlägger patienters upplevelser. Syftet med undersökningen var att öppet och förutsättningslöst beskriva upplevelsen av att vara patient i psykiatrisk slutenvård. Tretton patienter inskrivna vid fyra avdelningar intervjuades och materialet analyserades tematiskt. Resultatet visar att deltagarnas upplevelse av den psykiatriska slutenvården är starkt förknippad med de människor de möter på avdelningen.Patientgruppen blir påverkad av stämningen i personalgruppen vilket får konsekvenser för deras upplevelse av vården. Deltagarna uppskattar engagerad personal som är lyhörd för patientens behov och som ger stöd när de behövs som bäst.

Inom området för telemedicin efterfrågas praktiska sätt för läkare att snabbt och tillförlitligt kunna ställa preliminära diagnoser. The purpose of this review was to examine in what situations patients with myocardial infarction could feel anxiety. We also wanted to examine what a nurse could do to relieve the anxiety. The results are based on eight scientific articles and one literature review. The results shows that the patient could feel anxiety before examinations and transfers. The patient's anxiety increased if relatives had anxiety and if there were a lack of information from the nurse.

Suicide and attempted suicide frequently occur in society today and represent a major public health problem. In inpatient psychiatric care the nurse have a central role when caring for suicidal patients. Few systematic studies exists that address the nurse?s practical work with these patients. The purpose of this study was therefore to describe the nursing care of suicidal patients as it was perceived by registered clinical expert nurses.

The aim with this study was to examine which information sources are used by the librarians in the process of changing automated library system and why. Furthermore it was of interest to examine whether there are any correlations between variables environment, information quality, information availability, information need and information sources. Undersökningens fokus har varit på samtalet mellan läkare och patient. Huvudsyftet har varit att försöka få syn på det hälsopromotiva inslaget i samtalet mellan läkare och patient.Studiens metod bygger på fyra kvalitativa intervjuer som inspirerats av fenomenologisk ansats som sedan bearbetats och analyserats samt en deltagande observation. Studiens resultat bygger på kategorier som funnits utifrån forskningsfrågorna; Vad innebär det att arbeta hälsofrämjande i samtalet? I vilken mån tar läkare upp frågan om livsstil och levnadsvanor i samtalet med patient? Och Vilken kompetens har läkare inom samtalsmetodik? Resultatet tyder på att det finns en brist på kunskap om vad hälsopromotion är. Respondenterna blandar ihop begreppen kring de salutogena och patogena perspektivet.
