Konkurrensstrategier : En studie om konkurrensen på den svenska kontaktlinsmarknaden
Title: Strategies for competition ? a study of the Swedish contact lenses market.Authors: Pernilla AArskog and Annika Lange.Background: As a market gets more mature and the competition increases, it is more important for a company to apply the right strategic perspective. There are four fundamental strategic perspectives for a service-oriented business: a core product-, a price-, an image- and a service perspective. This study is a about service management and take its point from the theories from the Nordic School about strategies for competition, customer value, perceived customer quality and customer loyalty.Purpose: The main purpose with this study is to analyze and evaluate how the actors at the Swedish market of contact lenses should compete to gain further competitive advantages.Method: The study includes four qualitative interviews with two traditional opticians and two Internet based businesses, but also a survey with 106 contact lens users is included.Analysis: In the analyse part of this thesis it was concluded that the traditional opticians conception about their customer not agrees with what the customer evaluate as important. Many of the customers have thought about changing their optician, and besides that do not recommend their optician, and can there for not be categorize as loyal customers.

AimThe aim of this study has been to examine how health enhancement teachers in Montana, USA, view the value of physical activity from a lifelong perspective.In what way does the health enhancement teacher think the importance of physical activity from a lifelong perspective could be presented?What resources are available for teachers to present the value of physical activity from a lifelong perspective?MethodThe issue has been answered through qualitative interviews consisting of six health enhancement teachers, four women and two men, in Montana, USA. One of the teachers worked at an elementary school (for 30 years), three teachers worked at middle schools (20, 10 and 8 years of work experience) and two of the teachers interviewed worked at a high school (30 and 3 years). ResultsThe majority of teachers feel that a wide variety of activities, adapted to an individual level, and the understanding of a healthy lifestyle are important in order for the teacher to present the value of physical activity from a lifelong perspective.The teachers felt they had sufficient material in order to present the value of physical activity, where the school budget provided the teachers with materials every year. In addition to the budget, all the teachers had 12 hours of professional development every year where they could attend conferences or their own choice of professional development.ConclusionWith the help in forms of professional development offered by the school, conferences, meeting with other teachers, and their own choice of development, the teachers instruction techniques could increase which could help the teachers to find the pupils? interest for different kinds of physical activities.KeywordsPhysical education and health, physical activity, SOC, sense of coherence..

Bakgrund: Baserat på en humanistisk människosyn ska sjuksköterskan kunna möta patient och anhöriga på ett respektfullt, lyhört och empatiskt sätt. Mötet mellan sjuksköterskan och patienten är centralt i omvårdnaden. I mötet är samtalet ett redskap för sjuksköterskan att lindra lidande. I mötet kan sjuksköterskan träda in i patientens värld och dela lidandet genom lidandeberättelsen. Syfte: Syftet med studien var att beskriva hur relationen, narrationen och caritas lindrar lidande, ur ett sjuksköterske- och patientperspektiv.

The purpose of this study is to describe and analyze four educators? views and experiences of working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorders in relation to the concept of "One school for all". Research has shown that a segregating perspective is dominant in the school system, but the education act says that all children have a right to an equal education.My starting point for this study has been the concept of term "One school for all" and the problems that can occur in working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorders. A school for all is a school where all children are welcome and where all children sees as equals regardless of what background or disability they have. This study will be important for newly graduated teachers who are not aware of Autism Spectrum disorders.
Faktorer som påverkar kommunikation mellan sjuksköterska och patient från olika kulturer : Ur ett patientperspektiv
Syftet: Ur ett patientperspektiv beskriva faktorer som påverkar kommunikationen mellan sjuksköterska och patient från olika kulturer.Metod: Litteraturstudie där fjorton artiklar från olika länder har analyserats. I studierna har patienter och tolkar intervjuats om sina upplevelser och erfarenheter av vården. Resultat: Studien visade hur patienter med olika kulturell bakgrund i olika länder upplevde olika problem vid vårdvistelse på grund av att inte tala samma språk som vårdgivaren. Språkbarriärer bidrar till en ofullständig kommunikation. Användande av tolk, både professionell och icke-professionell, det vill säga vän eller familjmedlem som tolk, kan skapa problem. Andra faktorer som bidrog till att försvåra kommunikationen var olikheter i kultur och kulturella begrepp om hälsa och sjukdom.

Sjuksköterskans roll i omvårdnaden av patienter med suicidala tankar
Nurses have an important role caring with the suicidal patient as they often are the first to encounter these individuals. In order to develop their skills, nurses need to understand the complexity of the problem around the thoughts of wanting to die. The purpose of the study was to compile and elucidate research that describes how nurses can provide care to suicidal patients. The method used was a literature review. The results were divided into seven themes that can guide the nurse in the work: to be there, give time and listen, to recognize and assess risk factors, working in a team, to be attentive to own attitudes, to give hope, to be able to process their feelings, increased knowledge of the causes of suicide.

Abstract Background: End of life is difficult to establish in patients with dementia and many patients die due to complications related to the disease. To document that care are palliative in this group of patients is not common among nurses and physicians. This may depend on that the palliative course is extended and not similar to the palliative course common among patients with cancer. Aim: To describe how the registered staff in nursing homes document the care of persons with dementia in a late palliative phase. Method: A retrospective record study with a deductive approach.
Patienters upplevelser av omvårdnad vid behandling av anorexia nervosa : en litteraturstudie
Anorexia nervosa är den allvarligare och mest omtalade formen av ätstörning. Sjukdomen är ett självinducerat svälttillstånd då de drabbade bekämpar hunger och sina impulser att äta. Ätstörningar som anorexia är ett växande problem. Endast en del patienter tillfrisknar och behandlingen tar lång tid. Det är viktigt att sjuksköterskor har kunskap om patienters erfarenhet av behandling.
Behandlares upplevelser när en patient begår suicid.
Inom psykiatrisk verksamhet händer det att patienter tar sitt liv under pågående behandling eller i direkt anslutning till en behandlingsperiod. Enligt patientsäkerhetsförordningen måste dessa händelser rapporteras och utredas. Syftet med patientsäkerhetsförordningen är att den ska främja hög patientsäkerhet inom hälso- och sjukvård genom att minska antalet vårdskador, oavsett om bristerna beror på systemfel eller på att vårdpersonal begått misstag. Fokus är således på ett patientperspektiv, därför känns det angeläget att studera upplevelser som väcks hos olika grupper av vårdgivare när en patient begår suicid.Frågeställningar: Behandlares upplevelser när en patient gör suicid.Metod: En kvalitativ intervju på fenomenologisk grund genomfördes med fem vårdgivare i psykiatrisk verksamhet, två sjuksköterskor med steg 1 utbildning och tre skötare.Resultat: Upplevelser hos vårdgivare som är med om en patients suicid kännetecknas av chock, traumatisk stress och sorg. Det väcks också tankar som rör den egna professionen och i en del fall oro för följder av beslut som i efterhand kan bedömas vara felaktiga.Diskussion: När vårdgivare intervjuas om sina upplevelser efter en patients suicid, berättas om olika reaktioner som inte uppmärksammats nämnvärt.

This thesis discusses how the education in the Master of Engineering program can change to become more into line for the students needs, especially for the women, both directly in the education situation and later in their occupational roles. This is done using a gender perspective. Both the education and the occupation today is characterised by masculine norms and values. The education lacks gender perspective and is created by men, for men. The thesis gives concrete proposals on how to change two existing courses to better fit the students.
