Bakgrund: Att vårdas i en flerbäddssal med andra medpatienter kan medföra både positiva och negativa erfarenheter för patienter. När en människa intar rollen som patient hamnar hen i en situation där patientens avskildhet kan bli svår att bevara och värdigheten kan bli hotad.Syfte: Syftet var att beskriva patienters erfarenheter av att vårdas i en flerbäddssal med andra medpatienter. Metod: En litteraturöversikt baserad på tio vetenskapliga studier, varav nio var kvalitativa och en var både kvalitativ och kvantitativ. Studierna som erhölls ifrån databaserna CINAHL och PUBMED analyserades och sammanställdes.Resultat: Resultatet presenteras i fyra huvudteman och sju subteman. Det första huvudtemat benämns som Att vårdas i en flerbäddssal med tre subteman; Betydelsen av att ha sällskap av medpatienter, Stödjande samtal av medpatienter och Bevara självständighet och värdighet genom ett oberoende. Det andra huvudtemat benämns som Patienternas upplevelse av att vistas i en flerbäddssal med andra medpatienter med ett subtema; Att vårdas i en könsblandad flerbäddsal som ett hot mot värdigheten.

Humor är en viktig beståndsdel i människans liv och uppstår ofta spontant utan närmare eftertanke i möten med andra. Syftet med denna litteraturstudie var att beskriva humorns betydelse i omvårdnadsrelationen mellan sjuksköterska och patient. Studien baserades på internationella vetenskapliga artiklar från år 1996 till år 2003. Kvalitativ innehållsanalys användes för att analysera de 13 utvalda artiklarna. Analysen resulterade i tre kategorier som visade att humor har stor betydelse som copingstrategi vid försämrad hälsa, underlättar kommunikation och skapandet av relationer.

My intention with this paper was to investigate how the teachers in pre-school thinks about the physical environment in pre-school. Both the significance for the pedagogical activity and the children?s involvement in the design. I have done five interviews with pre-school teachers. The result shows that the pre-school teachers consider that the size of the premises and the availability to the material is important factors for children?s development and learning.

Parenteral nutrition inom palliativ vård kan vara både livsnödvändig och livsförlängande för vissa patienter, men värdet är ofta debatterat. Distriktssköterskan ansvarar för och har en central roll i den palliativa omvårdnaden av patienten i hemmet och rollen omfattar symtomlindring, samordning, information samt socialt och emotionellt stöd för patienten och dennes familj. Syftet med denna studie var att beskriva distriktssköterskors upplevelser av att vårda patienter med parenteral nutrition i palliativ vård. Tolv distriktssköterskor från primärvården i norra Sverige deltog i studien. Data samlades in med semistrukturerade intervjuer och analyserades med tematisk innehållsanalys.

Bakgrund: Lag om psykiatrisk tvångsvård innebär att sjukvården har rätt att ta bort självbestämmanderätten från en individ om denne lider av en allvarlig psykisk störning. Restriktioner och tvångsåtgärder som tvångsmedicinering, avskiljning och fastspänning kan förekomma. Syfte: Syftet är att belysa hur patienter upplever tvångsåtgärder inom psykiatrisk vård. Metod: En allmän litteraturstudie baserad på 12 vetenskapliga artiklar med kvalitativ ansats. Antonovskys Känsla av sammahang har använts som teoretisk referensram.

Background: To wait on an emergency department is a reflected and well-documented problem. Thou it´s mainly due to a patient perspective should also nurses' perspectives be significant to obtain a faceted perception of the phenomenon.Aim: The purpose of this study was to describe how nurses perceive the phenomenon of anticipation of a somatic emergency department.Method: The analysis was performed using a phenomenological approach. The study was conducted in a medium-sized hospital in southern Sweden, during the latter part of 2005, and had a qualitative approach based on a lifeworld perspective. Data collection consisted of written stories from twelve nurses.Results: The results indicated that the waiting was the scene of the expectations. These expectations led to dilemmas, powerlessness and frustration, the more the phenomenon was allowed to stand.

In the light of new technology health care is now given the opportunity to form a more mobile way of working that would bring about potential gains in terms of efficiency and quality. On the other hand, a more mobile health care also requires a more generous handling of personal information, something that may raise issues in terms of privacy. This study shows that the privacy of the patient requires two things: (i) that the personal information of the patient is handled in a way that generates her an overall positive expected utility and that (ii) the negative expected utility that each risk of an information leakage causes is offset by the expected utility it also makes possible. The first requirement (i) is shown, in comparison with today?s way of working, to be met due to the potential gains in efficiency and quality in combination with no increase in the probability of informational leakage or negative effects of such a leakage. The second requirement (ii) was also considered met since no separate risks of information leakage could be identified that was not offset by the gains it made possible in terms of expected utility..

Interaktion mellan sjuksköterska och patient påverkar upplevelsen av vård. Upplevelsen av vården är således en betydelsefull komponent för patienten och dess hälsotillstånd. Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka om det finns genus relaterade förhållande som påverkar manliga patienters upplevelse av vård. Teoretisk ram för arbetet är Madeleine Leiningers Transkulturell omvårdnad och då främst hennes sunrise modell som inspirerat författarna både beträffande enkätframställan, analys och tolkning av materialet. Metoden är en empirisk studie som behandlar sexton enkätsvar från onkologisk klinik i Skåne.

Shivering är ett fenomen som uppstår hos patienterna postoperativt. Det innebär att patienten har okontrollerbara muskelskälvningar som gör att patienten darrar, skälver eller huttrar i mer än 15 sekunder. Shivering påverkar kroppen negativt, men är också obehagligt och ett onödigt lidande för patienten. I takt med den tekniska utvecklingen utarbetas nya operationstekniker och idag utförs flera operationer med laparoskopisk teknik. Pilotstudiens syfte var att undersöka före-komsten av postoperativ shivering hos patienter som opererats med laparoskopisk teknik.

Bakgrund:Varje år drabbas cirka 50 000 personer i Sverigeav cancer. Att vårda människor som drabbats av en obotlig cancersjukdom innebäratt vårda lindrande. Palliativ vård innebär medicinsk behandling och omvårdnadsom är inriktad på symtomlindring och välbefinnande för patienten och dessnärstående. Syfte: Syftet var attbelysa vad som kan främja välbefinnande hos en patient med cancersjukdom i ettpalliativt skede, ur ett patientperspektiv. Metod: En litteraturstudie som inkluderade 18 artiklar, varav 15kvalitativa (därav en fallstudie), samt tre kvantitativa artiklar.

The purpose of this Master´s thesis is to examine howchildren?s needs, based on the Convention on the Rights ofthe Child, are provided for by the librarians when they havethe opportunity to create new libraries. We also examine ifchildren have been involved in the process and in that case towhat extent.Our theoretical perspective is based on MarianneAndersson?s and Dorte Skot-Hansen?s model of the fourdifferent functions the library can have for their users. Inorder to illustrate the degree of children?s involvement weuse Roger Hart?s model of participation.The thesis is based on qualitative interviews with seveninformants working at six different libraries.As a result of the thesis we can see that priority have beengiven to the function concerning how to find your way in thelibrary as a user.

Background: Patients with cancer of the lung have to endure a quantity of physical, psychological and social difficulties. In their exposed position they are in need of help and support to pull through the situation. With the knowledge of factors effecting lung cancer patients? quality of life, it will be easier to give the help and support they need. Aim: The aim of this study was to describe factors effecting lung cancer patients quality of life from the patient?s perspective.

The knowledge that citizens have of their own municipality is very useful for the local politicians and planners in the event of such a major reconstruction in the neighborhood. It is the residents in the area that are most affected, and their view on the reconstruction is valuable if the end result will be as good as possible. Since the municipality builds for the citizens, and wants them to enjoy the outcome of the reconstruction as much as possible, it is essential that the municipality get a chance to inspect the citizen?s views and experiences about it in an early stage. If the citizens don?t want to get involved, or if only a few people involve themselves, it will be difficult for the municipality to find a solution satisfactory to all.

SAMMANFATTNINGBakgrund: Enligt hälso- och sjukvårdslagen ska vården tillgodose patientens behov av trygghet, bygga på respekt för patienten, främja goda kontakter mellan patient och personal och tillgodose kontinuitet och säkerhet i vården. Forskning inom psykiatrisk vård har undersökt hur patienter uppfattar dessa områden. Denna forskning har resulterat i att Sverige har infört en nationell satsning för att mäta patienternas uppfattning om den vård de har fått. Syfte: Syftet är att undersöka patienters uppfattning om vården på en allmänpsykiatrisk heldygnsavdelning. Metod: En enkät bestående av frågor med skattningsskala eller fasta svarsalternativ gavs till 25 inneliggande patienter på en svensk heldygnsvårdsavdelning. Enkäten besvarades av 14 patienter vilket gav en svarsfrekvens på 56 %. Svaren har förts in i programvaran Exel och analyserats med utgångspunkt från kategorierna bemötande, information, personcentrerad vård, planering av vården, närstående och vårdmiljö. Resultat: Resultatet visar på att uppfattningen om hur man upplever vården på avdelningen varierar kraftigt.

Corporations are generally recommended to build clear and strong corporate identities, which should be reflected in their most important stakeholders, as this will secure minimum damage on the corporate image.Even a surrogate boycott situation can have positive effects on corporations, especially in terms of image, as such situation increases the brand involvement and thereby make it possible for corporations to connect with important stakeholders on an emotional level..
