This essay is a comparison according to the ideological thoughts about womens position in the society of Mao Zedong och Josef Stalin. The material I have analysed is writings by Mao and Stalin, in a wide range from leaflets to orders to the armies of the states of China and the Soviet Union. The method I have used is an ideological analysis where the attitude towards women is the target for my survey. The attitude towards women generally was not unified in the world during the time for Mao and Stalin. In many countries the women was intended to take care of the children and the home, not be active in working and fighting.

Syfte med denna litteraturstudie var att beskriva och sammanställa patientens upplevelse av att få information från sjuksköterskor angående egenvård vid venösa bensår .Artiklarna söktes på databaserna Medline och Cinahl. Sökorden som användes var leg ulcer, information, experience, self-care. Resultatet inkluderade elva artiklar där åtta hade kvalitativ ansats, två hade kvantitativ ansats och en hade både kvalitativ och kvantitativ ansats. Patienternas upplevelser av att få information varierade. En del var positiva till informationen på grund av sitt förtroende för sjuksköterskan.

Previous research and patient complaints to the Swedish Patient Support Committee shows that there is a lack of substance in the patient-nurse relationship. This may suggest that it can be difficult for health care to live up to health-care law which requires it to be of good quality, based on dignity and respect and designed so that the patient is an active participant and can make their own decisions when it comes to their health care. For a better understanding of what a dignified patient-nurse relationship is, this study aims to clarify what the patient values as good patient-nurse relationship and describe how they have experienced the patient-nurse relationship during their stay at an emergency care department. The study is a descriptive cross-sectional study with a quantitative approach, where the population consisted of patients who were cared for at an emergency care department in the County of Västmanland, Sweden during 2007. The sample consisted of 93 patients which were asked to answer a questionnaire.

Aim: The aim of this study was to investigate relatives opinions of information, interaction, support, participation and care at a hospice unit. The aim was also to investigate whether there was a difference between women and men.Method: The study is a descriptive quantitative cross-sectional study. A questionnaire with closed and open-end questions was sent out to 66 relatives to patients who had died at the hospice unit. The closed questions were analyzed with SPSS. A content analyze was used for the open-end questions.Results: The most of the relatives were fully pleased with information, interaction, support and care.

Patients with heart failure have a high mortality and often readmits to hospital care, due to a lack of compliance in the treatment plan. Patient education on self-care provided by nurses is important in improving patient and clinical outcomes.The aim of this study was to describe effects of nurse led interventions of patient education for elderly patients with heart failure. Literature study based on nine quantitative scientific articles. The results shows that different nurse led interventions of patient education with patients with heart failure had positive effects on self-care management, quality of life, health related quality of life and hospital care. E-mail reminder to community nurses and telephone education shows to be the most effective patient education interventions.

In healthcare there is a rapid development towards introducing and implementing a wide range of information technology (IT) to aim for higher quality and more effective care. A common health information system (Cambio Cosmic) has been implemented in Landstinget Kronoberg. Clinical microsystems are the frontline units where staff and pa-tient meet. When the conditions in the microsystems are changed, it is interesting to de-scribe and analyse the consequences.The purpose of this study is to describe how health care staff uses a health information sys-tem and how they experience its functionality in their patient work. Initially, a literature re-view about the use of health information system was undertaken, followed by a qualitative case study based on interviews about how healthcare staff describes their reality.

ABSTRACT The persons whom the authorized nurse encounters in hospital wards and nursing homes are in great extent elderly persons. According to Wasserman (2000), about 30 to 40 percent among these, show signs of depression. To be aware of the signs of depression, and how an authorized nurse can support the patient is therefore of great value. The introduction to this study describes the symptoms of depression and how depression in elders is expressed. It also describes treatment possibilities and nursing aspects of concern.

Kommunikation är en central del i vårdmötet mellan sjuksköterska och patient. Det finns flera anledningar till att kommunikationen måste fungera, för att patienten ska få möjlighet att vara delaktig i vården och för att få information om behandling.Syftet med arbetet är att kartlägga vad som påverkar kommunikationen mellansjuksköterska och patient. Metoden är en litteraturstudie baserad på 13 artiklar somvi fick fram via sökning i databaserna Cinahl, PubMed och Scopus.Kvalitetsgranskning har utförts utifrån kriterier utformade efter Willman, Stolt ochBahtsevanis (2011) mall. Resultatet I resultatet framkom fyra teman:kommunikation nödvändig för att bygga en relation, kommunikationen är intepersoncentrerad, patientens syn på kommunikation och kommunikationshinder.Resultatet visar att sjuksköterskorna har kunskap om hur kommunikation skallutföras. För att kommunikationen ska vara så god som möjligt krävs en relationmellan sjuksköterska och patient.

Läkemedelshantering såsom administrering av medicin till patienter är en av de dagliga omvårdnadshandlingarna för en sjuksköterska. För en patient som vårdas under Lagen om Psykiatrisk Tvångsvård (LPT) (SFS, 1991:1128) kan upplevelser av att få medicin vara blandade. I sjuksköterskans omvårdnadsarbete är det viktigt att se patientens unika upplevelser av situationen. Syftet med denna studie är att belysa patienters upplevelser av läkemedelsadministrering då de vårdas under LPT. Metoden är av kvalitativ natur där empirin samlats in med hjälp av intervjuer som har analyserats med manifest innehållsanalys.

Detta är ett examensarbete med narrativ ansats vilken bygger på en självbiografi där en sjuksköterska beskriver sin upplevelse av att vara patient och en bok där fem sjuksköterskor blivit intervjuade om sina upplevelser av att vara patienter. Syftet med examensarbetet var att ta reda på hur sjuksköterskan upplever det att vara patient. För att kunna förstå sjuksköterskans syn och upplevelser beskrivs i avsnittet bakgrund begreppen förförståelse, caritas och caring samt en redogörelse för vad sjuksköterskans profession innebär. Analysen resulterade i tre huvudkategorier med tillhörande underkategorier vilka presenteras i resultatet. De är följande: Upplevelsen av bemötandet, Det vårdande mötet, Erfarenheter av kommunikation och Att känna sig särbehandlad.

Hos patient med inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD) har nutrition en central betydelse. Nutrition ska betraktas som en medicinsk behandling samtidigt som nutrition är ett av sjuksköterskans omvårdnadsansvar. Syftet var att belysa nutritionsbehovet hos patient med inflammatory bowel diseases. Resultatet baseras på 15 vetenskapliga artiklar. Resultatet visar att patient med IBD lider av malnutrition eller ligger i riskzon för att bli malnutrierad.
