AbstractBackgroundWorking in primary care with chronic leg ulcers is both time-consuming and difficult. There is a large category of patients with leg ulcers, that is expected to increase in a number of years, and many of them will probably come to a district nurse for help.AimThe aim of this study was to describe the district nurses' experiences of caring for patients with chronic leg ulcers in primary care.MethodThe approach was qualitative. The study was done with a phenomenological life-world approach. Seven district nurses working in primary care were interviewed. The phenomenological perspective focuses on the respondents? own life-world and has openness to the interviewee's own experiences.

Enligt Hälso- och sjukvårdslagen har patienten rätt att bli bemött med respekt för sitt självbestämmande och sin integritet. Många patienter blir dåligt bemötta i vården, de känner sig kränkta, utelämnade och maktlösa. Psykiatrisk tvångsvård kan innebära en konflikt mellan att bedriva god vård och utöva tvång. Det är därför av största vikt att undersöka hur tvångsvårdade patienter upplever att de blivit bemötta och vad bra bemötande är vid psykiatrisk tvångsvård. Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka hur patienter upplever att de blivit bemötta vid psykiatrisk tvångsvård.

Our purpose with this research is to highlight that there is a scope for increased value creation in the experience room during concerts, and how value-enhancing strategies can be a competitive advantage for different venues. In our investigation of this we have worded the following research question: How is the perceived customer value affected during a concert in the experience room and its physical environment? With the background in this question we have identified three key concepts that we believe are the influence of the total concert experience which are; sensory experiences, interaction and identity. From these concepts we have drafted a number of propositions to test the reality by our empirical data collection. .

Fetma är en växande folksjukdom. Den ökade förekomsten av fetma leder till attsjukvården i större utsträckning kommer att möta patienter med fetma. Syftet med studienvar att ur ett patient- och sjuksköterskeperspektiv belysa vilka attityder sjuksköterskan hargentemot vuxna patienter med fetma. En litteraturöversikt har använts för att sammanställatidigare forskning som berör sjuksköterskans attityder mot patienter med fetma. Studienomfattar sju vetenskapliga artiklar som resulterat i två huvudteman med tillhörandeunderteman som redovisar resultatet inom ämnet.

Background: Communication allows people to gain understanding of themselves and their surroundings, which is a prerequisite for good health. The nurse may in her communication help patients develop a feeling that they are not alone in their situation. If the patients cannot express themselves and make themselves understood, it can lead the patients to feel left out which emphasizes the suffering at having aphasia. Background: Peripheral arterial disease (PAD), as a consequence of atherosclerosis in the arteria of the limbs, affects one of ten Swedes older than 65. PAD can develop slowly and silently, and involves an increased risk for cardiac infarction and stroke. Measurement of the patient´s ankle blood pressure and calculation of the ankle-brachial index is an evidence-based method to discover PAD. Objective: To investigate how district nurses and general practitioners perceive this method of examination and experience possible obstacles to why it is not more commonly applied at primary health care centres. Method: Data collected by semi-structured interviews have been processed by qualitative content analysis with a manifest onset.
