Spending a night out in the nature is away for many to experience a slowerpace of life. Refuge cabins are a typeof open-air facility sometimes provided for more far off locations, yet it is in the vicinity of cities and towns that the opportunity for getting out into the natural environment is mostly sought after. Several nature reservs exist around Stockholm with the good intention of promoting the opportunity for outdoor activities. The aim of this study is to investigate how the provision of refuge cabins can be a means of facilitating and augmenting outdoor life experience in a proposed nature reserv to the west of Stockholm.

There are several treatment methods that are used by physiotherapists to treat migraine and tension type-headache (TTH). The effects of these methods have been evaluated in previous studies. However, there are few studies evaluating headache patients own perception of the treatment. The purpose of this study was both to examine the patient?s perception of the physiotherapy headache treatment and to examine if the treatment had effect on their quality of life.

Bakgrund: Relationen mellan sjuksköterska och patient har genomgått stora förändringar. Från att patienten tidigare sågs som ett objekt utan egna resurser, till att idag ses ur ett holistiskt perspektiv, som en individ med styrkor, tillgångar och som är expert på sin egen person. Begreppet patientdelaktighet uppmärksammades år 1978 av World Health Organization i  Alma-Ata deklarationen och har sedan dess fått större utrymme i vården. Patienters lagliga rätt till delaktighet i sin vård är idag omfattande och det är vårdpersonalens skyldighet att informera och involvera sina patienter. Patienter idag ställer allt högre krav på sjukvården och det är en utmaning för sjuksköterskor att kunna förhålla sig till dessa.Syfte: Syftet var att belysa faktorer som påverkar patienters delaktighet i sin vård.Metod: En litteraturstudie baserad på elva vetenskapliga artiklar analyserade med induktiv ansats.Resultat: Författarna fann elva underteman som påverkade patienters upplevelse av delaktighet i sin vård.

Icke verbal kommunikation förekommer i vårdmöten dagligen. Den kan vara omedveten och otydlig vilket kan göra patienten förvirrad och stressad. Informationen som patienten får av sjukvårdspersonal uttrycks både med verbal och icke verbal kommunikation. i mötet kan icke verbal kommunikation ge stöd och trygghet i omvårdnaden för patienten. Syftet med studien var all belysa sjukvårdspersonalens icke verbala kommunikation i relationen till patienten.

The aim of this study is to, by individual interviews focusing on specific dimensions of supervision,examine how integratively educated PTP-psychologists experience the interactionin the supervision they receive as a part of their PTP-work and to describe if and how theyexperience that these components of the supervision promote, does not exert a direct influenceon or restrain the preservation and development of an integrative psychotherapeuticapproach and -attitude. The eleven people who are interviewed for this study all belong tothe group of psychologists who graduated from the first group of psychologists with an integrativepsychotherapeutic approach at Örebro university in the year of 2007 and who arenow completing their PTP-work. The interviews were analysed according to a qualitativecontent analysis. The results show that ten out of eleven PTP-psychologists experience thatthe interaction in the supervision is either good or excellent and that this promotes or doesnot exert a direct influence on the integrative approach.Keywords: Supervision, PTP-psychologist, integrative approach..

The power of the meeting is a qualitative study primarily examining how homeless men and women and social workers experience the meeting between them. The homeless are the more vulnerable part in these meetings so their experience of these meetings is my focus in this study. I have in this paper also examined and analyzed how and whether homeless women and men tends to be treated and ad-dressed differently with basis on their gender. The main results I have found is that the homeless but also social welfare officers actually feel that there is com-municative problems when the parts meet and cooperates which often results in conflicts and lack of trust. I have chosen to highlight a number of factors that have been claimed as the main reasons for the experience of a poor meeting.

AbstractBackground: An elective surgery can be something new that is frightening and unpleasant. The children and their individual needs are not always considered when surgery is prepared. Children?s needs differ and depend on their sense of coherence. Aim: The purpose of this study was to illuminate how children experience preparations before elective surgery.

How do the administrators of nature reserves experience the communication with the land owners concerned? The article is a qualitative study within the environmental communication subject. The study has been performed through qualitative interviews with administrators of nature reserves. Being in action the administrators must know how to communicate with people. The result of the study shows the administrators lack a language to describe their experience of the communication with the landowners. .

Violence against women is an extensive social problem that concerns us all. The women who seek health- and medical services when they have been exposed to violence and abuse have the right to expect being well taken care of and treated by competent and understanding personnel. A kind reception can make the patient feel comfortable enough to talk about their situation. The aim of this literature review was to determine how you as a nurse should treat a woman who has been exposed to battery, to be able to offer a professional and individual care. The frame of reference is Gustafsson´s SAUK-model since the acknowledged care aim to maintain and strengthen the human´s self-judgement and self-determination.

Uppsatsen ska bidra till att öka förståelsen för yrkesarbetande muslimska kvinnors syn på att bära slöja och att vara delaktiga i arbetslivet. Uppsatsens syfte är att undersöka vilken betydelse dels yrkeslivet och dels slöjan har för de muslimska kvinnorna i studien och vilken roll omgivningens bemötande spelar för informanternas identitetskonstruktion. Underlaget till uppsatsen består av intervjuer med sex muslimska kvinnor och litteratur om islam, identitet och genus. Genom kvinnornas berättelser visar det sig, å ena sidan, att arbetslivet har stor betydelse för informanterna och att de identifierar sig som yrkeskvinnor. Å andra sidan kan ingen av kvinnorna tänka sig att ta av sig slöjan för att få ett arbete. Hellre skulle de finna andra lösningar, så som att bli egna företagare, vilket visar på kvinnornas aktiva aktörskap.

Background: Globally, one percent of all people diagnosed with cancer are children. Childhood cancer often requires long and tough treatments. When a child is diagnosed with cancer it also affects the family and the relatives. Aim: The aim of this study was to describe the nurse?s role in the care and treatment of children with cancer.

Bakgrunden behandlar vårdsituationen i mötet mellan patient och vårdare. Mötet påverkar och kan därför ha betydelse genom att det ligger till grund för patientens inställning till vården. Joyce Travelbees teoretisk referensram har valts då den fokuserar på mellanmänskliga dimensioner i omvårdnad. Syftet med studien var att undersöka upplevelsen i mötet mellan patient och vårdare, och dess betydelse för patientens inställning till vården. Syftet besvarades genom en kvalitativ innehållsanalys av vetenskapliga artiklar.

Att lyssna aktivt är en grundläggande kunskap inom omvårdnad och lyssnandet leder till att sedan kunna kommunicera effektivt. Vårdprofessioner kommunicerar på varierande sätt, har olika mål med kommunikationen samt att det finns flera samtalstekniker. Ett hinder i kommunikationen beskrivs som avsaknad av ett gemensamt språk eller att tolk används till hjälp. Syfte: Att belysa kommunikation, samtalet och lyssnandet i mötet mellan patient och vårdare i vårdmiljö.

Bakgrund: En del patienter som vårdas inom slutenvårdspsykiatrin ses av sjuksköterskor svårare att vårda. Dessa patienter riskerar få en sämre vård än andra patienter. Genom att belysa sjuksköterskors egna förklaringsmodeller till varför patienterna uppfattas som svåra kan fokus riktas mot en utsatt patientgrupp inom den svenska slutenvårdspsykiatrin. Syfte: Att beskriva sjuksköterskors egna uppfattningar om varför patienter upplevs som svåra att vårda inom den slutna psykiatriska vården. Metod:Fem intervjuer med sjuksköterskor arbetandes inom slutenvårdspsykiatrin genomfördes.

This study examines the players experience, environments and objects in the videogame World of Warcraft. The purpose of this study is to get more knowledge about the players experience in the game with the focus on factors contributing to some form of immersion or/and presence. The data for this study were gathered using interviews as method and then analyzed with relevant literature in the chosen field. A game content analysis and a group of questions are tested with the results of the study which is presented at the end in with an analytic discussion. .
