Delaktighet i vardagsysslor : En kvalitativ studie om personer med lindrig utvecklingsstörning på ett gruppboende

The purpose was to describe the significance of Participation concerning leisure time and household duties for persons with mild intellectual disability living in a group home with some support from caretakers. Interviews were performed with five persons, two men and three women, living in such a group home. The questions in the interview guide had an open character and were divided into four different areas, leisure time, economy, cooking, cleaning and laundry. The results indicate that all informants felt they participated in all four areas. Further on, the results show there was Participation of three different kinds.

Politiskt deltagande hos Kanistammen i Kerala: en fallstudie

This study is case study of political Participation among the Kani tribe from Kuttichal grama panchayat in the Thiruvananthapuram district in Kerala, India. The study is based on the collected data of 117 people of the Kani tribe living in four different settlements: Pankavu, Mangode-Valippara, Chonampara and Kaithode. The aim of the study is to examine the impact on political Participation by different factors, which is done by the use of the quantitative method of cross tables. The study confirms previous studies in its conclusion that high status individuals, defined in terms of education and economic standard, are the group of the highest political Participation, when this is defined as being involved in political work and holding a party membership. On the local political scene however, where political Participation consists of Participation in local assemblies and voluntary work, the impact of the examined variables are very limited.

Det tysta samtyckets motstånd : En systematisk litteraturstudie över elevinflytande i skolan

School activities are under constant discussion. This literatur study examines student Participation and its relationship to democracy mission and the factors that contribute to students marginalized in school. The study also intends to examine the relationship between intersektionall analysis and the limitation of opportunities for student Participation in school. The study results problematize the relationship between student Participation and school democracy quests, this by highlighting the challenges and difficulties the school faces. Our results also strengthen the relationship between the study theory and marginalization of students and the limitation of opportunities for student Participation..

The purpose of this study was to examine pedagogues? experience working with shy children and their opportunities for Participation in preschool. Att konsumera, bidra eller skapa : En studie om deltagande i varumärkesrelaterade aktiviteter på Facebook

This study has researched different motivations for user Participation in brand related activities on social media. The study used three types of Participation to evaluate motivations for user Participation. These types were the following: consuming content, contributing to existing content and creating new content. An online questionnaire was distributed on brand Facebook pages and was used as a foundation for two focus group interviews that were then held. The goal of the study was to see what motivates user Participation, in order to aid companies and organizations in understanding users.

Many institutions currently work with visitor Participation. Participatory culture is basically to invite visitors to participate and to give an opportunity to co-creation. In my research I have studied two projects. The first one is the exhibition Hej! produced by Postmuseum (the Swedish mail museum) and the second one is Present by Riksutställningar (a Swedish government).This development indicates that the museums are on their way towards a new definition. Earlier museums were defined as a source of knowledge which purpose was to spread lore to the people.

No adults, except the library staff are allowed in this library. Storstadssatsningen och dess effekter på valdeltagande i kommunala val: Framgång eller misslyckande?

In 1998 the Swedish Socialist Government initiated a project in order to promote economic growth and to end the discriminating social and ethnic segregation in the greater city regions of Stockholm, Gothenburg and Malmo. One of the goals of the project was and still is to promote political Participation in 24 of the poorest areas of the three cities. In a quantitative analysis I evaluate whether or not the project so far has been successful in promoting a specific part of political Participation, i.e. electoral Participation in communal elections. The results of the 24 poor city areas are compared with a group of 14 likewise poor city areas of major swedish cities.According to my hypothesis, general improvements of the socio-economic status of poor city areas ought to generate positive effects on electoral Participation in communal elections.

The Swedish school law says that students who need special education should have all the support they need to reach the qualification that is set up. The arrangements have to be written down in an Individual education plan (IEP). Before the IEP is set up there has to be an investigation about what kind of support and measures the student needs to reach the qualification that is set up. The aim of this study is to examine student?s Participation in school and in the progress with their own IEP.I have accomplished a qualitative study by interviewing eight students during the letter part in the nine-year school.

Barns delaktighet i frågor om umgängesstöd : en studie av elva tingsrättsdomar

The purpose of this study was to examine children's Participation in court proceedings on supervised visitation and to analyse the descriptions of children in court verdicts. Eleven verdicts concerning supervised visitation resolved in 2014 were collected from two district courts in Stockholm County and studied with a qualitative textual analysis. The material was analysed with Participation levels influenced by the ladder of Participation for children developed by Roger Hart and with the theory of sociology of childhood. Our findings showed that children's opinions were mentioned in eight of the verdicts. In four verdicts the children's will influenced the courts decisions.

A hearing loss may affect the identity development and Participation among adolescents. To understand adolescents with hearing loss in modern society, it?s of great importance to ascertain how identity- and Participation processes occur in new areas, such as the internet.Objective: The aim of this study was to investigate what research shown regarding identity development among adolescents with hearing loss and whether social processes on the internet may influence the Participation of this group.Method: A literature review was conducted to obtain a cohesive framework of research about Participation processes and identity development among adolescents. Included articles have been published 1995-2015.Results: The results show the importance of the individual?s identification with the surrounding.

Delaktighet och inflytande i samhället, en verklighet för ungdomar? : En studie om ungdomars hinder och möjligheter till delaktighet och inflytande

The purpose of this study is to examine how adolescents can participate and have influence in the society, by making obstacles and opportunities that are considered central for their possibilities to power visible. National and international research indicates that adolescents opportunities to Participation and influence are limited by the structures of society. A qualitative method was chosen, in which group interviews were made with 14 youths in development areas in Örebro. Theories are presented which constitute tools for analysis of the obtained results and has been chosen based on power- and Participation perspective. An analytical model has been used to illuminate what kind of Participation adolescents have in different parts of the society, where the concepts from the theoretical perspectives, power and Participation are inserted.
