The purpose of this essay was to examine, from a gender perspective, how biological children in foster families experience the situation of living with foster siblings. The material consists of ten interviews. We searched answers to the questions:1. In what way have the biological childrens relations to Parents, biological siblings and foster siblings changed through the placement?2.

Bakgrund: Det sociala stödets inverkan på barn och ungdomars idrottsutövande är en betydelsefull faktor i strävan att uppnå inte bara goda idrottsresultat utan även en allmän positiv utveckling av fysiskt, psykiskt, socialt och kulturellt välbefinnande. Syfte: Syftet med denna litteraturstudie var att utforska det sociala stödets inverkan på barn och ungdomars idrottsutövande. Design: Litteraturstudie. Metod: Författarna har använt sig av databaser och elektroniska tidskrifter för att samla in vetenskapliga artiklar på engelska. Elva artiklar valdes ut.

Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) är ett välkänt problem hos ungdomar. Studien jämför föräldrarnas upplevelser av ungdomarnas ADHD-problematik och ungdomarnas egna upplevelser av sig själva och sina föräldrars reaktioner. Befintliga data från ett forskningsprojekt används där undersökningsdeltagarna var ungdomar, från skolår sju till första året på gymnasiet. Resultaten visade att föräldrar som ger höga skattningar av sina ungdomars ADHD symptom skiljer sig kraftigt från andra föräldrar både när det rör ungdomars beteende och sina egna beteenden. Ungdomarna skiljer sig i upplevt eget beteende där ungdomarna med ADHD-problematiken hade svårigheter.

AbstractThe purpose of this essay is to investigate the views Swedish elementary school teachers produce on the subject of ethics. The teachers? thoughts on selection among ethical notions is described and also how these notions are assessed. The essay proceeds from the central content and the knowledge requirement in the syllabus of religious knowledge.The empirical survey is based on qualitative scientific interviews with four teachers employed in grades 4-6 at different schools.The teachers find ethics in its current state of the syllabus hard to define and they find encounters with Parents and pupils difficult in their tasks. The selection of ethics is decided by previously planned basic values education or from conflicts erupting during schools hours.

Which roll and function does the young people have as a municipality politician?? What do they think should be done to get more young people to engaged in politics and become a municipality politician?The young Eda politician is a girl living in a house in the country and she has middle education.

Obesity is one of the biggest threats to child- and adolescent health. The amount of obese children is today increasing more in Sweden than in the US. This may in a couple of years have bad consequences for the Swedish children?s quality of life. When a child suffers from obesity it is a big stress on the body and can lead to serious consequences in adulthood.

Youth culture and social problems associated with youth groups have existed for decades. We have chosen an explorative case study design to highlight young people's revolt against Parents and society and how society has dealt with social problems of youth and how those were perceived. ?Raggare? were considered a major social problem in society. The material in the study comes from eight qualitative interviews and literature of previous research of the current youth culture.

The aim of this study was to examine how some Swedish school counsellor?s describe their school social work and how they look at its content. Further more the aim is to look at what restraining and promoting factors the school counsellor?s experience in their working situation. The approach of the study is qualitative and interviews have been made with five school counsellors.

Syftet med litteraturstudien var att beskriva föräldrars och syskons upplevelser och copingstrategier när ett barn i familjen drabbats av cancer. Sökning av litteratur har gjorts i databaserna Medline via Pubmed, Cinahl och Science Direct där 19 artiklar valdes ut. Resultatet visade att föräldrars upplevelser och copingstrategier var relativt samstämmiga. Upplevelserna tar sig ofta form i chock, förnekelse och stress de första månaderna. Hur föräldrarna sedan hanterar situationen kan variera, beroende på bland annat kön och religion.

Uppsatsen centrerades kring ett accelererande problem- med konsekvenser även för skolan - nämligen de digitala kränkningarna. Syftet med själva projektet är att primärt belysa hur skolledning och skolpersonal dels uppfattar och dels hanterar möjliga digitala kränkningar, oavsett var och hur dessa kränkningar framförs.Uppsatsen bygger på intervjuer med nyckelinformanter i skolorganisationen i en kommun, från politisk nivå till verkställande nivå i form av rektorer m fl. Dessa intervjuer speglas mot svar från Skolverket, barnombudsmannen m fl. Intervjuerna - med nyckelinformanter ? visade på vissa svårigheter med detta problemområde.

The aim of this essay was to investigate how social workers, within chosen Social services districts in the northwest of Skåne, work with children placed in foster care. Our purpose was to investigate the interaction between the child and the foster home from the perspective of the Ecology of Human Development. Our questions were:* How do the social worker prepare the child and the foster home before a placement?* What kind of support is offered to the foster home with the purpose of supporting the child?* How do the social worker make the childs contact with the biological Parents easier?* To what degree does the social worker work on strengthening the child's network?* Which factors do the social worker decide the allocation of support?* What do the social worker think affects the work with the foster home from a society level?To answer our question we have interviewed nine social workers. We found that the social workers were generally good at perceiving how the micro- and meso-systems, and to a certain extent the exo-system, influenced the foster child.

The purpose of this essay was to examine and compare what attitudes Swedish and Belgian social workers may have towards residential care and foster care for children and young people. To answer the purpose eight qualitative interviews with four Swedish and four Belgian social workers were made. The results were analyzed by theory of organization and professional acting space. The results of the study show that the social workers in both countries preferred foster care, especially for small children, and that the Swedish social workers had a more negative attitude towards residential care than the Belgian social workers. Even though the Belgian social workers preferred foster care, they found themselves forced to choose residential care due to lack of available foster care facilities, something that did not seem to affect the Swedish social workers.

Förberedelsen till föräldraskapet avbryts vid prematur förlossning och ställer föräldrar inför svåra psykiska påfrestningar och frågor. Föreliggande studie har erhållit data från projektet "För tidigt födda barn och deras föräldrar - en tvärvetenskaplig longitudinell studie". Syftet är att beskriva hur föräldrar ser på orsaken till den för tidiga födseln (gestationslängd 24+0-35+6). Extraherade delar av 74 enskilda intervjuer (39 mödrar och 35 fäder) analyserades med innehållsanalys. Resultatet gav temat "Inre eller yttre orsak - möjlig att påverka eller inte".

The aim of this study was to examine how children in ages 3 to 4 use the public library with the research questions: What does children?s, in ages between 3 and 4, information behavior look like when they visit a public library in leisure time with a parent? What is the nature of interaction between child and parent, child and the staff of the library, and between child and other visitors? What is the function of the cultural tools in relation to the children?s information behavior? The theoretical frame of reference consisted of Lev Vygotsky?s ?the zone of proximal development? and Roger Säljö?s theory about using cultural tools. To answer the questions I have observed 4 children together with their mothers and siblings at a public library. From the result of the observations I found that every child had their own information behavior. Two of the children only used one kind of cultural tool ? books.

The purpose of this study was to examine young offenders? attitudes towards crime, and to the penalty they have been sentenced to as juveniles. More specifically its aim was to examine an intervention program called Galaxen, specifically used  to deal with  juveniles  in Växjö. This intervention program consists mainly of conversations with social workers from social services,  aiming  towards  better  self-awareness  and  the  ability  to  understand  the  consequences  of one?s actions.
