Planeraren har ett yrke som kan vara svårt att beskriva och flera olika benämningar används för samma profession. Rollen har förändrats och planeraren har gått från att vara autonom expert till att i större omfattning agera samordnare styrd av politiska viljor. Jag anser att det finns en viss otydlighet kring planerarens uppgifter och hamnar ofta i diskussioner om stadsplaneringens mindre åtråvärda konsekvenser och önskar därmed kunna ge en så rättvis bild av min blivande yrkesroll som möjligt.Denna uppsats syftar till att ta del av debatten kring planerarens profession och utveckling i media, och uppsatsen berör huvudsakligen begreppen profession, roll och kompetens. Tidskriften PLAN utgör källa för de artiklar som används för att representera debatten. PLAN ges ut av Föreningen för Samhällsplanering och kan ses som planerarkårens interna organ.Resultat kan sammanfattas till att det råder enighet kring att planerarrollen förändrats i takt med att antalet aktörer i planeringen ökat och därmed också komplexiteten i processen.

The focus of this thesis is a specific part of Swedish library policy called library plans. A library plan is a political document created with the purpose of constituting a platform for co-operation between different library systems within a municipality, e.g. through determining and analysing the needs for library activities within municipalities in Sweden.This thesis´ aim is to investigate whether library plans are, or can be used as, a tool for change and thereby increase legitimacy for public libraries in Sweden.We have examined aspects of library plans using theories from change management to determine whether these plans include tools focusing on conditions in organisations that could result in an improved and stronger position in the society for public library. Through the use of theories from new institutionalism we opted for an understanding of the interaction between the libraries and the context in which they are part of.Upon examining 23 library plans, we discovered similarities as well as diversities among them. From our study we have drawn the conclusion that it is important to analyse the specific needs of each different municipality and to consider these individual conditions and needs when developing and composing the library plan.

The aim of this investigation work " What was it called...Equality...? is to study a clinics current gender equailty plan from a gender approach and by a field survey see if, and in that case, how it can be improved. A connection between existing gender norms and gender power strukctures is applied in the results of this survey in order to illustrate their significance from an individual as well as a structural perspektive.The survey has been carried through by a field survey as well as a discourse analysis as method. Yvonne Hirdmans gender power system is on of the main theoretical points of departure.The results that I have achieved in this essay is that gender can be looked at in different ways within the labour market where women have the main responsibility over the family and are considered more nursing then men. Men on the other hand are thinking of their carriers and have higher salary requirements.

Syftet med uppsatsen är att identifiera vilka effekter man hittills kan utläsa i några utvalda större företags kvartalsrapporter och årsredovisningar som konsekvens av implementeringen av de nya redovisningsreglerna av pensioner. Vidare syftar arbetet till att kartlägga vilka problem företagen upplevt vid övergången från de gamla till de nya reglerna såsom ökade kostnader och behovet av expertkunskap från exempelvis revisorer. Ansatsen som använts är induktiv, med ett deskriptivt syfte. Vidare är metoden kvalitativ, eftersom denna är mest lämplig när man inte vill kvantifiera ett problem utan i stället vill studera det på djupet. Studien har genomförts genom ett antal intervjuer av öppen karaktär samt en dokumentundersökning av finansiella rapporter.Den teoretiska grunden i uppsatsen tar sitt ursprung i två huvudområden, pensionsteori respektive redovisningsteori.

En kvalitativ studie om konflikter mellan separerade föräldrar och samhällsförändringar som har bidragit till att konflikter mellan dessa föräldrar har ökat. De frågeställningar som har använts är: Går det att urskilja några specifika målgrupper som nyttjar erbjudandet om samarbetssamtal? Vilka orsaker kan det finnas till att föräldrar uppsöker hjälp i form av samarbetssamtal? Finns det några specifika samhällsförändringar som har bidragit till att konflikter mellan separerade föräldrar har ökat? En semistrukturerad intervjumetod har använts för att intervjua familjerättsekreterare i deras roll som samtalsledare. Independent schools are a central issue in the school world, the perception of independent schools varies and many people express opinions about them in the media. An independent school is according to the National Agency a school that has a different principal than the county or municipality. Independent schools may not charge fees but their revenue comes from municipal grants from municipalities (Berglund 2007, p. 10). AbstractPurpose/Aim: The aim of this essay is to map out how the communication is organized at the Bällstabergs School in Vallentuna. The purpose with the essay is to illuminate the pros and cons with their system so that a communicationstrategy could be worked out from the basis of the results. The aim is devided into three different questions at issue: What does the organizational structure look like and how does it concide with the communication? What does the present communicative work look like? Which communicative needs can be identified?Method: The methodology contains two parts. The first part is an analysis of the present organization.

The purpose of this study was to analyze how the key staff concept is used in residential care for children and young people and which role the key staff concept plays in the organization.The study was based on semi-structured qualitative interviews with six key staff and two managers from two different residential care facilities for children and young people. The theoretical perspective used was the neo-institutional theory and Hasenfeld´s term Human service organizations.One of the conclusions of the study was that the key staff describe that they have a central role when it comes to the treatment of the children. Another conclusion showed the variety of tasks that the key staff have, like the administrative work that they do. They also have an educational role, similar to the one that parents normally have which means that they are responsible of parenting the children. They also described themselves as a link between the children and their social network.

CML Data AB is a small IT-company that offers complete IT-solutions adjusted to the needs of the customers. It is hard for the employees to bring all necessary papers, files and software when visiting a customer. They also have difficulties planning their daily work and to keep track of each other, because of the lack of a shared calendar.The purpose of this report is to answer the following questions:- How do you develop a centralized information system for CML Data AB where it is possible for the employees to gain access to files, plan their days and where the customers can get access to relevant information?- How do you develop an information system that is easy to manage?- How do you make it easier for the employees at CML Data AB to update their homepage?We discussed the problems and the future information system with the employees and were able to establish a set of needs and requirements which we then used as a foundation during the software development. We used user centered system design during the whole process and focused a lot on usability and interaction design.The project resulted in a stylistically pure and user friendly portal.

During the autumn of 2008 I obtained office experience by working at the local government of Örnsköldsvik. I started working on the district green plan of the green structure and that led to the work of this exam paper. The purpose of this exam paper has been to define some standpoints for the green structure of the local government district of Örnsköldsvik. I have used both a larger and a smaller scale to obtain a wide a perspective as possible of the green structure. The larger scale gives an overall view of the whole municipality while the smaller scale is found in the study of the two local areas Centrum and Domsjö. For the local government planning to be able to obtain an agreeable level of verdure to the residents it is necessary that the green structure is brought up on the agenda.

Parenteral nutrition inom palliativ vård kan vara både livsnödvändig och livsförlängande för vissa patienter, men värdet är ofta debatterat. Distriktssköterskan ansvarar för och har en central roll i den palliativa omvårdnaden av patienten i hemmet och rollen omfattar symtomlindring, samordning, information samt socialt och emotionellt stöd för patienten och dennes familj. Syftet med denna studie var att beskriva distriktssköterskors upplevelser av att vårda patienter med parenteral nutrition i palliativ vård. Tolv distriktssköterskor från primärvården i norra Sverige deltog i studien. Data samlades in med semistrukturerade intervjuer och analyserades med tematisk innehållsanalys.

Purpose/Aim: The purpose of this essay is to see how the media, through the newspaper, "Vi föräldrar?, produces family and parental roles, and to investigate how the image changed over time.Material/Method: The material consists of a number of selected texts from the years 1968, 1988 and 2008. The method used is a discourse analysis based on the three level model by Norman Fairclough. The three levels are the text, the discourse practise and the sociocultural practise. In this study two of the levels, text and sociocultural practise, are used in analysing the texts.Main results: Family and parenting in the texts from 1968 can be linked to the structural functionalist theory in which the core family is central and women and men are assigned to specific roles.

Uppsatsen har sin utgångspunkt i det faktiska material som finns i tio valda tidningar gällande telegramnyheter. De valda tidningarna har analyserats genom syntetiska veckor i fem årgångar för att få fram en bild av hur förekomsten av telegramnyheter i svensk press såg ut under slutet av 1800-talet. För att se det statistiska material genom ett par teoretiska glasögon, analyseras resultatet genom Benedict Andersons teori om en föreställd, nationell gemenskap. Frågan är primärt hur förekomsten av telegramnyheter ser ut och på ett mindre, sekundärt plan om telegramnyheten bidrar till den svenska pressens stärkande av den nationella föreställningen? För att få en inblick i telegramnyheten inleds uppsatsen med en historisk kontextualiseringen, som ska vara till hjälp för läsaren att förstå bakgrunden till dess utveckling, både på ett internationellt, men dock främst, nationellt plan..

Syftet med uppsatsen var att undersöka hur LSS-handläggarna upplever arbetet med samordnade och/eller individuella planer i sina ärenden med personer beviljade insatser enligt 9§ LSS. Studien var kvalitativ och data samlades in genom semi-strukturerade intervjuer. Uppsatsens tre frågeställningar (rutiner och arbetsmetoder, syfte med planerna samt hur planerna fungerar som verktyg för kvalitetssäkring) har varit en röd tråd genom arbetet. Det framkommer i studien att inte alla kommuner har rutiner gällande erbjudande samt upprättande av planerna. Resultaten visade dock på att man upplever att planerna tjänar ett bra och tydligt syfte, om det är möjligt för den enskilde att tillgodogöra sig planen.
