Today?s construction buildings contain more advanced technologies than before. The development of newer and stricter regulations to the construction industry makes the door environment more and more complex.In large construction projects the door environment is held up as a major challenge to get to in a good way. It turned out after a discussion with one project manager and a site manager at NCC, that the door environment is difficult to get right in major construction projects and it often causes many error reports in to the aftermarket after that the final inspection is completed.Interviews have been done with key figures in the building process at NCC and Akademiska hus. A study on a university building for around 3500 students and with 300 workplaces was made.

Att köra eller inte köra is a qualitative study aiming to show how environmentally conscious people who utilizes cars deal with their dissonant behavior, but at the sametime maintain an identity as environmentally conscious. The study is based on the fact that a third of those who drive cars in the municipality of Växjö would like to decrease their use of cars while at the same time having the infrastructural conditions to utilize other means of transportation. The study investigates inner obstacles in the form of habits and lifestyle, but also the different strategies the motorists use to reduce their cognitive dissonance and maintain a green identity. The indicators show that the reason the majority of the motorists continue to utilize cars is part due to inner obstacles (it's adeeply rooted habit, but also a big part of their lifestyles), part due to that the individuals have defenses for their use of their cars, defenses designed to have a dissonance reducing effect. The indicators also show that the motorists value their family higher than the environment, and in this way they can legitimize many of their car uses.

This masters thesis shows that the changes in the scientific publishing system have affected the academic libraries. Both technological change and the increased prices on scientific journals have forced academic libraries to take action. Some Swedish academic libraries have started publishing the university s own research material. The issue has in many cases been treated more as a library concern, than as a concern for the university as a whole. Neither has there been a national coordination of these matters in Sweden.

Familjen är en av de viktigaste faktorerna för att förebygga utvecklingen av psykisk ohälsa hos barn. Syfte: Syftet var att belysa effekten avmanualbaserade föräldrastödsmetoder för prevention av psykisk ohälsa hos barn.Metod: Strukturerad litteraturstudie baserad på 15 vetenskapliga artiklar.

Previous research shows that over time the conditions and the parent?s role in child and youth health care have changed extensively.

Föräldraskap är en enorm utmaning och det finns ett stort behov av olika former av föräldrastöd. Mindfulness har på sistone fått alltmer uppmärksamhet som en effektiv metod inom många terapeutiska och hälsofrämjande sammanhang. Jag frågade mig därför om mindfulness skulle vara en metod och ett förhållningssätt som även kan främja föräldraförmågan. Syftet och frågeställningarna med uppsatsen var att undersöka hur föräldrar, som praktiserade olika meditationsmetoder, upplevde hur mindfulness stödde deras föräldraförmåga, vad det för dem personligen betydde och vad det i praktiken innebar. Utifrån ett hermeneutiskt perspektiv genomfördes fem kvalitativa intervjuer med föräldrar som praktiserade mindfulness i sitt föräldraskap. Resultatet stämmer väl överens med forskningen om mindful parenting, mindful relating och betydelsen av föräldrarnas mentaliseringsförmåga för en trygg anknytning. Mindfulness visade sig vara ett förhållningssätt som främjar föräldrarnas förhållande med sig själva och sina närmaste.

The purpose of this study is to investigate how homosexuality and homosexual adoptions are manifested in children's comic "Bamse" and study the result in the light of a brief background about the western society and gay history. The study has a historical gender perspective and focus homosexuality primarily in modern times. Drawing on critical theory and semiotic analysis, the study shows how ideas and ideology surrounding same-sex relations and parenting are negotiated in the ?Bamse? comic. 2010 was the year when the Bamse cartoon took a step into the gender debate and introduced two gay rabbits who adopted an infant.The study shows that despite the obvious intent to anchor homosexuality as normal and integrated in the society there are hidden ideologies that reveals homosexuality as abnormal and excluded.

Civil-military relations ? conditions for cooperationAbstract: Civil-military cooperation is a branch of current interest, both in studies and research. The importance has also increased after the government´s demands in a more developed and efficient coordination of national contribution to international peace support operations. Several studies show that there is a lack of ability to cooperate between different levels of command and other actors. The Swedish tradition of state administration is strong and the responsibility to cooperate lies within the hands of the different authorities.

Mapping a process enables a greater understanding of the work, and is standard to evaluate and improve a process. This thesis is conducted at Test Bed Mechanical Design at Scania in Södertälje. Test Bed Construction is a complex process, characterized by a large amount of creative work, technical challenges and coordination between different people and different organizational functions.The aim of the thesis was to identify the Test Bed Construction Process and to develop a visual model of the workflow that also served as support for the engineers in their daily work. During the mapping process, comparisons were made with previous research in lean product development to identify process improvement.A literature review on process mapping and process visualisation resulted in a method for process mapping. The study showed that research on process visualisation is neither structured nor well defined.
