SYFTE: Jag har i mitt yrke erfarit att många elever upplever skolan som stressande. Studier stöder denna iakttagelse och visar att för många tonåringar är skolan den i särklass största stressfaktorn. Vidare ökar stressrelaterade sjukdomar bland vuxna kraftigt. Detta gav mig en ide att inom skolans ram försöka agera preventivt och inspirerad av coachning och kognitiv beteendeterapi satte jag samman en kurs. Här undersökte jag huruvida träning i mental kompetens; kunskap om kroppens känslosystem, språk för känslor, stresshantering och problemlösningsstrategier, skulle kunna ge elever större känsla av beredskap för att hantera livet i ett modern komplext samhälle och därmed en högre livskvalitet.

Background: The goal of psychiatric nursing interventions is to enhance people?s ability tocope with feelings of futility, to get control of their lives and to learn coping strategies inorder to manage their mental illness and its consequences. Specialist nurses in psychiatric carecoordinate and direct nursing care based on evidence-based knowledge.Aim: The aim of this study was to investigate what kind of nursing acts specialist nurses usein the psychiatric inpatient unit and investigate how they perceive their professional role.Method: The design used was a descriptive qualitative interview study. Nine specialist nursesworking in psychiatric inpatient units were interviewed. Six of the participants were womenand three were men aged 28-53 years.

BAKGRUND: Psykisk ohälsa bland unga kvinnor är ett folkhälsoproblem. Anorexia nervosa kategoriseras in som en psykisk sjukdom. Anorexia nervosa drabbar främst unga kvinnor, vilket exempelvis kan bero på tidigare händelser i livet som gett upphov till psykisk obalans i deras vardag. SYFTE: Syftet med studien var att undersöka vilka sociokulturella orsaker som bidrar till utvecklingen av Anorexia nervosa bland flickor och unga kvinnor i åldrarna 12-25 år. METOD: En literaturstudie utfördes, som baseras på 21 olika vetenskapliga artiklar. Databaserna som användes var pubmed och psycinfo. Temaanalys användes och artiklarna kategoriserades in i huvudteman och underteman. RESULTAT: Resultatet i studien delades in i två huvudkategorier, med två underkategorier vardera.

Another aim is to illustrate how this shame can be affected in social interaction with others and by other circumstances. The following questions will be highlighted in this essay: How can shame be experienced by female alcoholics? What can affect shame in interaction with other people, from the view of female alcoholics? What other circumstances can affect the shame, from the view of female alcoholics?This study features interviews with women who have successfully gone through the process of rehabilitation from the illness of alcoholism, have a long going and stable sobriety and arecurrently part of the work force. The study also features interviews with therapists specializing in the field of addiction recovery and have considerable experience in their fieldof working with women suffering from alcoholism.The subject matters shame and stigma form the theoretical/analytical tools for this research.

Personer med psykisk ohälsa kan drabbas av psykiska eller fysiska besvär och söker sig då till primärvården och kommer där att möta sjuksköterskor och annan vårdpersonal.Syfte: Syftet var att belysa vårdpersonals upplevelse av att bemöta patienter med psykisk ohälsa inom primärvården. Metod: En litteraturöversikt baserad på nio vetenskapliga kvalitativa artiklar genomfördes.Resultat: Två huvudkategorier med fyra subkategorier framkom. Den första huvudkategorin ?Kommunikationens betydelse för bemötandet? bestod av subkategorierna Verbal kommunikation och Icke-verbal kommunikation.

Studiens syfte var att validera en modifierad svensk översättningav självskattningsskalan som mäter anhedoni, Snaith-Hamilton PleasureScale. Syftet var också att utforska relationen mellan anhedoni och fatigue,stress, mental trötthet respektive dagtrötthet. Studiens deltagare, 60universitetsstudenter, utgjorde en icke-klinisk grupp som rekryterades medbekvämlighetsurval. Den modifierade svenska översättningen av Snaith-Hamilton Pleasure Scale uppvisade god intern konsistens, samt god konvergentvaliditet vid korrelation med anhedonirelaterade subskalor i Beck DepressionInventory. Vidare uppvisade Snaith-Hamilton Pleasure Scale starkapositiva samband med Fatigue Impact Scale respektive Mental FatigueScale, men inte med The Perceived Stress Scale respektive Epworth SleepinessScale.

Denna uppsats syftar till att undersöka psykiatrikerna och filosoferna Viktor Emil von Gebsattels och Karl Jaspers föreställningar om ett psykiskt fenomen de besriver som depersonalisation. Uppsatsen analyserar deras respektive föreställningar om fenomenet med särskilt tonvikt på skärningspunkter mellan psykiatri och filosofi. Depersonalisation definieras av dessa tänkare som att kroppen och jaget upplevs som främmande, automatiskt, externt och iakttaget från utsidan på ett tvångsmässigt sätt. Jaspers och Gebsattels föreställningar står i motsättning till ett biologiskt och psykologiserande förstående av psykiskt lidande som var vanligt i deras tid. Det finns hos dessa tänkare en konflikt mellan att å ena sidan vilja undvika att förtingliga människan och hennes lidande till fastställda definitioner, och att å andra sidan betrakta ett upplöst och undflyende jag som patologiskt..

Psykisk ohälsa är ett stort folkhälsoproblem som orsakar enskilt lidande och stora samhällsekonomiska kostnader. Insatser som främjar psykisk hälsa hos barn och unga är högst relevant och skolan har en viktig roll i det hälsofrämjande arbetet. Skolkuratorn blev en lagstadgad del av elevhälsan år 2010 och ska i sin roll främst arbeta förebyggande och hälsofrämjande. Syftet med studien var att undersöka hur skolkuratorer i Västmanland arbetar för att förebygga psykisk ohälsa och främja psykisk hälsa hos ungdomar. En kvalitativ metod med en induktiv ansats valdes.

The aim of this masters thesis is to, from a queertheoretical point of view, examine the possibilities to classify the subject homosexuality in three different classification systems. The three systems that have been analysed is the Swedish classification system SAB, the Universal Decimal Classification UDC and Dewey Decimal Classification DDC. The analysed editions are updates from the beginning of the 1970´s until today. The emphasis has been on how well the systems correspond to the changing society. We found several differences between the three systems, but also some resemblances.

The purpose of this paper is to investigate on what basis a child is committed into care according to the law and to see on which grounds the decision about committed child care in law practice are taken when a child is committed to care due to parents who are mentally retarded. To better understand the juridical grounds for these decisions I will also in a short background describe the meaning of the term mentally retarded, how mental retardation and parenthood has changed over time and how different opinions are expressed in the law. Both people with mental retardation and children have in recent years gained their rights and sometimes these rights end up in conflict with one another. In those cases, what is in the best interest of the child, should be decisive. The children who have mentally retarded parents are at risk to not have their physical, psychological, emotional, social and intellectual needs met and are therefore being unfavourable developed.

Abstract: Elite soccer in combination with education is a unique and demanding task. The path towards a glory career in sports takes hard mental and physical training. The objectives in this study are 6 elite focused high school students studying high school education programs in combination with football profile. They are 3 of each gender. The purpose of the study was to find out more about their perspective of motivation and what makes them keep going towards a career in football in beside their education.The study is of empiric hermeneutic survey used qualitative method and interviewing to collect data.

The purpose of this thesis is to find out the reasons and perhaps some answers to the problem as we see it, the sickness benefit expiration of those who experience this. By this said we have also taken into account the different laws and adjustments in the long-term sickness benefit, but also major reformation of the security net in the Swedish society. The efficiency of the law on passive long-term sickness absence was added in July 2008, but was later in January 2010 supplemented. The purpose of this law wasn?t only to reduce the long-term sickness absence but also to reduce exclusion.

Problemställning. Psykisk ohälsa identifieras och åtgärdas ofta inte hos äldre patienter, vilket leder till onödigt lidande och minskad livskvalitet. Sjuksköterskor borde genom sitt holistiska synsätt vara i en utmärkt position för att åtgärda detta, men i praktiken fungerar detta dåligt. Syfte. Syftet med studien var att identifiera faktorer som inverkar på sjuksköterskans förhållningssätt till äldre med psykisk ohälsa.
