In Sweden approximately a half per cent of the population have diabetes mellitus type 1. Self-care responsibility is a part of the treatment. Orem?s self-care theory has been used as theoretical framework. The purpose was to describe what it means to be young and have diabetes mellitus type 1.

AbstractBackground The importance of establishing well-functioning parent-teacher relationships are clear objectives in the Swedish National Curriculum for Preschools, (Lpfö 98, Lpo 94 & Lgr 11 chapter 1-2). Parental involvement in preschool activities is seen as important for several reasons. Facilitating healthy child development, learning and socialisation are some of these reasons. During the past twenty years Sweden has become a multicultural society. Today, people from more than 170 countries live in Sweden, and about 18% of the population are first or second generation immigrants.

This is a study of American Methodist Mission in Sweden and how this mission eventually formed the Methodist Church in Sweden 1876. The mission began as a consequence of returning Swedish emigrants and sailors who had encountered Methodism in America, mainly through the works of Swedish-American missionary Olof Gustaf Hedström on the Bethel ship in New York. During the 1850?s Methodist missionaries were sent to Scandinavia by the American Missions Society. The first to come to Sweden was Johan Peter Larsson, who spent two years in Sweden in 1854 before he was transferred to Norway.

The aim of this literature review is to give an overview of the differences between pure- and crossbreeding systems. Crossbreeding is a mating system with individuals of different lines or breeds. It is one of several breeding strategies in dairy production used to increase the economic profit. The use of crossbreeding increases due to changes in the dairy market and an increase of inbreeding among purebred Holstein. The main benefit of crossbreeding is heterosis, which is the improvement in genetic level in a hybrid offspring above the average of the parent breeds.

The aim of the present study was to investigate the kind of support society offer parents, by illuminating some of the parent education programs which are arranged by social services. By interviewing some of those who are involved in these education programs, we tried to figure out what society would like to mediate as good parenting.Our main questions was:* Why are parental education needed in society of today?* What are the purpose of the education?* For whose sake are these educations arranged, for the childrens, the parents or in public interest.* This model which you are using, what would it like to mediate as most important in good parenting.We found that the respondents all agreed that the main purpose of these educations was to improve the relationship between parents and children. However they all pointed out the fact that there are great gains in public finances to do as well..

The following paper looks into MaternityPaternity leave and how the parents make use of it. The underlying reasons for the paper, is a pattern of unequal division of leave between the mother and father.By using a qualitative in depth interview technique with couples that have children between 2 and 3 years old we have looked for reasons why the decisions, around the division of leave, have been taken, and what factors influence the outcome.We have found that great importance is attached to, how, the negotiations are carried out between the parents, although these negotiations are influenced by a series of circumstances where the families economic situation influenced by the employment market are important factors.The results from the empiric part of the study showed a link between the childs age and which parent stayed home. Furthermore, the results show the families place in relationship to the structure of society also plays an important part in the concluding division of leave..

Den viktigaste delen i en handlednings situation är det pedagogiska samtalet och att kontrollera kunskaperna kring en omvårdnadshandling. Frågan är hur handledarna upplever sin situation och vilka möjligheter som finns för att kunna uppfylla kraven på optimalt handledarskap. Syftet med denna studie var att beskriva vilka faktorer som påverkar sjuksköterskan som handledare. Studien genomfördes som en systematisk litteraturstudie med analys av 10 speciellt utvalda artiklar.I resultatet framkom tre olika problemkategorier. Kategori 1 är hinder på vårdenheten som kan innebära brist på tid till handledning.

Mitt syfte med denna studie av Häckelsängsringen är att ta reda på om den verkligen är från vikingatiden samt om den har haft en eds-, rit- eller kultfunktion? Finns det någon vikingatida kult i området som kan komma ifråga när det gäller denna ?mystiska ring?? Till min hjälp har jag tagit litteratur som talar om ringar och eder till exempel de Isländska eddorna. För att se om det finns en vikingatida kult i området har jag besökt Hamrånge socken, både själv och tillsammans med arkeologer. Jag har studerat länsmuseets faktarum och fornminnesregistret. I fornminnesregistret har jag hittat platser såsom en reliklund med mycket gamla lindar, en tänkbar offerkälla, en stenlagd cirkel som kan vara en tingsring samt att i närheten finns ett område som på gamla kartor kallas Lundåker, en tydlig odling av hassel.

 I kompetens beskrivningen står det att sjuksköterskan ska medverka vid handledning, undervisning och bedömning av nya sjuksköterskor. Som sjuksköterska/ handledare är du ansvarig för patientsäkerheten och avgör om den som handleds har tillräckligt goda kunskaper att utföra vårdhandlingar. Tidigare studier visar att brist på tid, brist på stöd, bristande erfarenheter och kunskaper har stor betydelse för att kunna ge en bra handledning. Frågan är hur vi kan påverka handledarna till att kunna ge ett bättre handledarskap. Syftet med denna studie är att beskriva anestesisjuksköterskans upplevelser av att handleda studenter.

Denna rapport är en sammanställning av en litteraturstudie som undersöker trådlös nätverksuppkoppling (WLAN) ombord på fartygsbryggor. Samhället utvecklas hela tiden och användandet av enheter med tillgång till internet ökar ständigt. Arbetets syfte var att undersöka den trådlösa uppkopplingens positiva och negativa effekter samt för- respektive nackdelar. En litteratursökning genomfördes och baserades tillsammans med analysen på en mindmap. Resultatet visar flera negativa effekter genom att vara uppkopplad på fartygsbryggan.

Abstract:The aim of this study is to critically analyse the discourse of linkworkers, a integration project in a ?multicultural? school in Malmö. In the project, four persons with different ethnic / cultural background where employed to work as a link between the school and the parents, and between the Swedish culture and the children's and the parent's ?original? culture. My material consists of evaluations of the project and interviews with school staff.

This study highlights the problematic situation fathers encounter when they require help and support in a custodial dispute. Previous research shows the emergence of a new, more involved father. In the light of this earlier research, this study will show a father that is willing to fight for his rights to be a present and engaged parent in the case of a separation from the mother. The aim was to analyze the subjective perceptions of five fathers in custodial dispute. This analysis did not only show how they perceive their role as a father and their masculinity but also the way they feel about the help they got from social services and other institutions.

Beckholmen är en ö vilket gör dess tillgänglighet begränsad. Visserligen kan man nå ön per fot men eftersom att det pågår industriverksamhet på ön är endast en liten del av den tillgänglig för allmänheten. Resten ägs tillträde endast av de som arbetar på ön. Ön är visuell på håll från bl.a. Slussen, hela Södermalms nordöstra strand och Henriksdal vilket gör att den lätt kan hamna i blickfånget om den huserar en större utmärkande byggnad.Mitt projekt är en skulptural varvsbyggnad som syftar till att framhäva Beckholmen och dess renässans som en ö med sjöfartsverksamhet.

AbstractIn this work, I have chosen to write about children in grief. Since children in grief is a large area, I have chosen to focus on how preschool handles and works with children who has loosed a parent, siblings or a play-mate by death. The aim of this work is to contribute knowledge about how you in preschool can handle and work with children in grief. To get answers to my questions, I have studied the current literature in the field. I have also interviewed five people with experience and knowledge of work with preschool-children affected by grief.
