The main strategy of gender equality policies has since the 1990s been gender mainstreaming. Many government inquiries show how much the Swedish government, provincial governments and municipalities are working with gender mainstreaming. The purpose of this paper is to investigative how the municipalities within the county of Stockholm handle gender mainstreaming demands in relation to other demands that the municipalities face. This is in order to closer investigate the hidden factors that create barriers to gender mainstreaming efforts. Given the study's purpose and the formulation of research question, qualitative method is the most suitable method to fulfill the purpose.

Riksdagens skatteutskott beslutade den 28 februari 2012 att det behövde göras en utredning avseende regelverket för F-skatt. Av utredningen framkom att regelverket har möjliggjort för arbetsgivare att säga upp sin personal och sedan låta dem jobba kvar som egenföretagare i form av F-skattare. Det framkom även att det specifikt inom åkeribranschen förekommer att uppdragsgivaren säger upp sina anställda chaufförer och istället anlitar utländska påstådda egenföretagare som chaufförer. Följden av detta är att den svenska uppdragsgivaren slipper betala arbetsgivaravgifter och undkommer mervärdesskatt. Det innebär i sin tur att Sverige förlorar en hel del skatteintäkter.Uppsatsen behandlar denna problematik avseende åkeribranschen genom att den utreder två situationer med utländska egenföretagare som chaufförer.

Live exports of animals began during the late 19th century and are nowadays a valuable alternative to the slaughter industry in Australia. About four million sheep and half a million to one million cattle are exported annually from Australia to the Middle East and Southeast Asia. Most of these animals are exported for slaughter, but some cattle are exported with the purpose of breeding. One factor that has been the driving force for the live export industry is that countries through tariffs and other barriers have favored the import of live animals rather than the import of meat.The export means that animals with a great cognitive ability are exposed to a long chain of production from the farm to the market and there are many factors that can affect the welfare of the animals in a negative way. Some of the most serious are high temperatures and a high stocking density, although seasickness, noises and handling can also have a negative impact on the welfare of animals.

As requested by the company Husqvarna AB, we have developed a prototype of an electrical start device to a chainsaw. This was done through the development of new details in Catia, which has been integrated with existing details. Electrical components have been purchased by HAB electronics. In parallel with the modeling calculations was done, which was the basis for determine dimensions and the choice of an electric motor and gears. Prototype 1 improved gradually and led to prototype number 2, which became the final result.

I have analysed the use of portamenti by violinists Janine Jansen, Itzhak Perlman, Jascha Heifetz and Nathan Milstein in the first 8 bars and the two parallel phrases of the Max Bruch Violin Concerto No. 1 in G minor. I have copied their portamenti and recorded myself performing theese phrases in style of each violinist. By doing this I have learnt new ways to use shifting on the violin for expressive purposes and realized how much there is to learn by imitating your predecessor..

Detta examensarbete har studerat en metod för kvalitetssäkring av leverans av digitala koordinater vid Luftfartsverket. Luftfartsverket har med Cartesias och AerotechTelub AB:s hjälp utvecklat systemet mAIS. Detta system kan bl. a hantera import och export av digitala koordinater. Systemet baseras på programvaror från MapInfo då det visade sig att både Luftfartsverket och försvarsmakten kunde arbeta i formatet MID/MIF.

Support group activities for children with mentally ill parent´s, without a parallel parent group, is by far the most common form in Sweden. The activities have primarily focused on increasing the frequency of the protective factors around children. Of course, parents and the families are also influenced of children´s participating in these activities. Most studies examining support group activities for children from the child's perspective. The experiences of parent?s perspective have not been well studied.

The different actors are above all the pharmaceutical branch, including researchers, inventors and salesmen with their economic interest of revenue, and the population of the development countries and their pressed situation considering the great need of medicine.

Concrete floors have traditionally had no problems with annoying vibrations. However with the demand for larger spans the floors need to be made more slender with a higher degree of utilization and lower mass. Therefore new floors may have problems with vibration serviceability. This thesis studies the vibration characteristics of hollow core slabs. The analysis was made in the finite element program Ansys. The hollow core slab was subjected to a varying force simulating one person walking across the slab.

IDCT (Inverse Discrete Cosine Transform) is a common algorithm being used with image and sound decompression. The algorithm is a Fourier related transform which can occur in many different types like, one-dimensional, two-dimensional, three-dimensional and many more.The goal with this thesis is to create a fast and low effect version of two-dimensional IDCT algorithm, where techniques as multiple-constant multiplication and subexpression sharing plus bit-serial and bit-parallel arithmetic are used.The result is a hardware implementation with power consumption at 19,56 mW..

En specifik tonvikt har lagts vid kommunens etablering av ett Systembolag. Följande perspektiv har studerats; 1) Beskrivningar av förebyggande arbete 2) Exempel på alkoholförebyggande arbete 3) Samverkan 4) Viktiga aktörer 5) Alkoholkällor 6) Möjligheter till tillgänglighetsbegränsning samt 7) Systembolagets betydelse för kommunen.Datainsamling skedde genom nio halvstrukturerade intervjuer med totalt tretton intervjupersoner vilka alla kom i kontakt med alkoholfrågan i sina arbeten. Intervjupersonerna kom att representera socialtjänst, kommun, skola, landsting, polis, Systembolaget, Brottsförebyggande rådet och nattvandrarverksamheten i den studerade kommunen. Insamlad intervjudata bearbetades med meningskoncentrering.Resultatet visar att ett omfattande alkoholförebyggande arbete bedrivs inom kommunen.
