Bakgrund: Mammografi med screening används för att minska dödligheten i bröstcancer. Metoden har dock visat sig innebära smärtupplevelser för patienterna.Syfte och frågeställning: Syftet är att beskriva interventioner för att minska smärtan vid mammografiundersökningar. Frågeställning: Hur kan smärtan vid mammografier med screening minskas?Material och metod: En sökning i databasen PubMed med sökorden "pain" och "mammography" och avgränsning för engelsk- och svenskspråkiga artiklar gjordes, vilket resulterade i sju artiklar med 4431 screeningskvinnor.Resultat: Smärtan vid mammografi minskar inte vid användning av musik eller inspelad röst för avslappning, inte heller om kvinnorna får ett förklarande informationsbrev och/eller bemöts med s.k. "spegling".

This paper is about research carried out at a hospital at which managers had taken a course in gender equality. The aim was to get a deepened understanding of them and their work on gender equality. I wanted to find out if they themselves felt that they had obtained any new knowledge and if they had changed anything at their workplace because of this new knowledge. I also wanted to know if they had experienced any problems in this process. I found that the course has been more or less decisive in order for them to start working with questions concerning gender equality.

This study in Environmental Science examines the amendment of the EU-Directive on. Greenhouse gas emission allowance trading. The Directive is to be considered as a tool for fulfilling the obligations that the Union and its member countries have taken on through the 1997 Kyoto agreement together with the protocols proposed at that time. The flexible mechanisms of the protocol are intended as instruments for limiting the climatic changes arising from anthropogenic sources, emission allowance trading being one of these mechanisms. The results presented here consist primarily of an analysis of interviews with various experts in the field of emission control concerning the possibilities and problems attending the process of implementation.

Mycket forskning inom ämnet postoperativ smärta är gjord. Det är ett komplext ämne och studier visar att det förekommer att patienter smärtlindras otillräckligt. Syftet med den här studien var att beskriva vilka metoder sjuksköterskan använder sig av för att bedöma akut postoperativ smärta, och vilka för och nackdelar som finns med de olika metoderna. Vi ansåg att en litteraturstudie var mest lämpad för vår studie och har använt oss av tolv artiklar i resultatet. Där identifierade vi fyra kategorier som beskriver hur sjuksköterskan bedömer postoperativ smärta.

A clean and affordable energy source for cooking is deficient in developing countries. People rely on fuels that contribute to environmental, social and health problems.Biogas is an alternative energy source and an increased investment in small-scale biogas production can in several developing countries be found. Several projects have started to use the technology in developing countries because of the benefits with biogas. Some cases in the establishment of biogas plants have succeeded and some have not. The study is a literature review supplemented by two field studies.

Bakgrund: Endometrios är en vanlig sjukdom och drabbar ungefär var tionde kvinna. Obehandlad endometrios kan medföra obehagliga symtom och kan i värsta fall leda till infertilitet och cancer. En tidig diagnossättning och behandling är därför av stor vikt. Tid till diagnos är i dagsläget flera år och kvinnorna upplever sig bli trivialiserade av sjukvården. Syfte: Syftet med denna litteraturstudie är att belysa kvinnors upplevelse av att leva med endometrios. Metod: En kvalitativ litteraturstudie utifrån analys av tio vetenskapliga studier. Resultat: Resultatet mynnade ut i tre framträdande teman om hur endometrios påverkar kvinnan livskvalitet.

The purpose of this thesis is to examine and analyze the characteristics of the management control system private equity firms use to manage their portfolio companies. The thesis takes a share holder value perspective, and it is assumed that the goal of the management control system is to increase the shareholder value in the portfolio company. In a qualitative study two private equity firms and two portfolio companies, one for each private equity firm, were studied in detail. In total, nine in debt interviews were completed. The results from this study suggest that the characteristics of the control system are dependent on the surrounding context; the focus on shareholder value and the specific characteristics of the private equity industry shape the characteristics of the management control system.

The aim of this diploma work was to obtain a review of the appeal process in Sweden under the Planning and Building Act and the possibilities of appeal in the planning and building permit process. The work was intended to identify potential problems surrounding the appeal process and possible efficiency measures. The goal was to form a report that provides a satisfactory overview of the appeal process in theory and practical application as well as provide relevant concrete proposals on how the appeal process can be streamlined.Background and facts surrounding the work were taken from different types of literature and through several interviews with representatives in government, industry and politicians.The main problems related to the appeal process are in the long processing times and the high number of appeals. There is a great interest to streamline the appeals process and the government is going to launch studies in which possible future actions will be investigated.It is possible to appeal for up to two instances before you need a so called ?leave to appeal? in order for your complaint to be passed on to the next instance.

This report is the result of a thesis at the company Sanmina in O?rnsko?ldsvik. The thesis is the final work at the mechanical engineering program at Umea? University.Sanmina has in 2015 launched an initiative to ensure that all sites are using LEAN principles and tools to enhance their business. This is mostly due to the quality and performance thatScania have shown. However, this does not stop Scania from trying to achieve moresuccess in the fields of development and research to assure the quality of theirengines.The purpose of this thesis is to show how Scania ensures the quality of the enginecomponents, both those who made externally and internally at Scania, also inclusivethe manufacturing and assembly process.Three engine components were examined: D16 block engines, water pump andXP-Iinjectors. The study included the whole process from the step of supplying therow materials to the last step in production functional test.In this thesis an investigation of how other companies are working with qualityassurance was conducted.

Ett stort antal personer insjuknar varje år i kranskärlssjukdom, vilket inkluderar angina pectoris. Sjuksköterskan behöver ha goda kunskaper om hur patienter med angina pectoris erfar olika symptom relaterat till sjukdomsbilden, samt hur patienter anterar och lever med sin sjukdom. Detta för att kunna ge bästa stöd och arbeta på ett personcentrerat sätt. Syftet var att beskriva patienters erfarenheter av att leva med angina pectoris. Metoden som användes var litteraturstudie vilken grundades på tolv vetenskapliga artiklar vilka analyserades och sammanställdes.

Palliativ vård bedrivs på alla vårdinrättningar i Sverige. Vi ville med denna studie belysa faktorer som påverkar sjuksköterskan bedömning och värdering av smärta hos patienter som är döende. Vår avsikt var att uppmärksamma hur viktigt det är att sjuksköterskan gör en korrekt bedömning av smärta. Alla patienter förtjänar att dö smärtfria. Syftet med studien var att beskriva faktorer som påverkar sjuksköterskans bedömning av smärta i den palliativa vården.
