The idea for this project was initiated together with one of the leaders in the forest, paper and packaging industry. To get through an A/R CDM process the company is exposed to the risk of failing the process or that the overall costs will exceed the benefits of the project. This would delete the incentives to invest in GHG removals compared to purchasing emission allowances on the carbon market. The questions that have been raised and needs clarification in the thesis are the following:? From a company perspective, what are the incentives for implementing Forest Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) projects?? What is a likely financial outcome of a reforestation CDM project on degraded land in the Guangxi province of the Peoples Republic of China?? When does an investment like this break even with the cost of buying market based carbon emission allowances? The objective of this master thesis is to carry out a research about the incentives for forest, paper and packaging companies to invest in reforestation through the clean development mechanism.

This report describes how the process has evolved during the creation of a new web page forthe company Scandinavian Travel Agent DMC. The design methods that have been used aredescribed and also how parts of the webpage have been created by using the design methodresults. Our reflections around design and functionality are explained and how usability hasbeen our main focus during the master thesis. We also describe how it has been to work withan external costumer and how the tasks constantly have changed and been added as theprocess has continued.The background to this work is that AB Scandinavian Travel Agent DMC need to improve theircurrent web page. This to give the clients better needed information about destinations, butalso to stand out in the competitive travel business.

People of the modern world consume more than they ever used to do. Because of the close correlation between consumption and the amount of waste, the waste volume is also expected to increase. The purpose of this study is to examine if some measures in the recycling process from Sweden could be implemented in Indonesia. In fact, Indonesia is one of the countries in which the waste management system is struggling. Tetra Pak, one of the world leading producer of food packaging, is studied in this report.

Today the common people begin to understand the impact of a package. Many choose brand or product with great emphasis on how the outside looks, both in a good and a bad way.The company Gotlands Grafiska gave me the task to create a small basic selection of packages. The target group that the project was based on was craftsmen in the Gotland region. Based on analysis of the market and consumers to develop a range of packages covering a wide range of products sold on the island.During the project a clear theme was the desire to highlight a product and create some sort of exclusivity. It was important to understand how consumers and businesses think about packaging and its function.The result was five different packages, which together cover much of the need for the Gotland crafts and souvenir market.

Syftet med detta examensarbete har varit att skapa ett varumärke som fokuserar på att tillagningen av teet blir rätt. Många varumärken lägger inte så stor vikt vid att sprida denna kunskap trots att information om detta finns på i stort sätt alla förpackningar. Problemet är att informationen är för anonym. Jag har därför velat undersöka om man kan ta denna information och göra den till en del av designen och dessutom skapa ett varumärke som känns unikt och som trots informationen har en estetisk hög nivå. Jag har dessutom velat utveckla denna produkt ytterligare för att underlätta tillagningen av teet.

Detta examensarbete har haft till syfte att åskådliggöra eventuella skillnader och/eller likheter i den upplevda användbarheten vid användandet av en webbplats skapad via mobile first design och desktop first design. Målsättningen med examensarbetet har varit att ta fram en hifi-prototyp, skapad utifrån mobile first design, som visualiserade ett designförslag för flygfotoföretaget HimlaFotos startsida. Jämförelsen har utgått ifrån en egendefinierad version av begreppet användbarhet baserad på ISO:s definition, där användbarhet består av tre faktorer; kraftfullhet, effektivitet och tillfredställelse. För att samla in data om den upplevda användbarheten har användartester genomförts. Flera likheter har identifierats gällande användbarhetsmåtten kraftfullhet och effektivitet, medan skillnader har funnits vid måttet för tillfredställelse.

This thesis describes a conceptual design of a support frame for a synchronousgenerator used in a vertical axis wind power plant. In this system the generator isplaced on ground level. The thesis also considers the design of housing for thesupport frame and generator. The concept presented in this report is based on anearlier design. This report describes the process of developing a user-friendly and responsive archive website. The website is a Hi-fi prototype and was created for the company JG Communications, to serve as an archive for their customers? style guidelines. To create this website I have used HTML5 and CSS3 to make it responsive for various computer screens. I have also used PHP and some JavaScript to make some of the functions and Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator to make design elements for the prototype.

Problem: Förpackningen har föreslagits som det femte P:et (packaging) i marknadsmixen (Kotler (1999). Det anses att en i något avseende unik förpackning kan vara av stor betydelse för att skapa en framgångsrik märkesprodukt. Orsaken till detta är att förpackningen kan betraktas som märkesproduktens ansikte utåt, vilket gör att den i stor utsträckning bidrar till att skapa ett första intryck av märkesprodukten. Mot bakgrund av detta är det naturligtvis angeläget att förpackningen redan från början bidrar till att ge ett positivt intryck av märkesprodukten ? man får aldrig en andra chans att göra ett första intryck.

Syftet med denna studie har varit att analysera förpackningsbehoven hos olika e-handelsföretag som säljer varor till konsumenter. En ökning av den direkta distributionen av varor till konsumenter är av allmänt intresse på grund av dess inverkan på distributionskedjorna. Eftersom varor kommer att levereras som styckegods direkt till slukund istället för i stora volymer till en grossist kommer förpackningarna att behöva utvecklas. För det första kommer distributionen av varor via e-handeln att öka behovet av förpackningsmaterial eftersom varje enskild produkt behöver förpackas vid transport till slutkund. För det andra kommer nya typer av högkvalitativa förpackningar, som är skräddarsydda för att passa enskilda produkter, att behövas. Följaktligen, belyser denna studie förpackningsbehovet hos olika e-handelsföretag som säljer varor direkt till svenska konsumenter.

The project is about making a Re-Design of the Swedish Socialistic Newspaper ?Dagens ETC?. The background to the project is my search for commitment when I work with a specific customer or project and how importantthat commitment are?The project was from the beginning split up to three different phases. The meaning of the first phase where to make a re-design mainly based on a interview with Johan Ehernberg, the chef editor on ETC.The second phase was a design totally made of my own idea and creative view as a Graphic Designer.I had in mind to make the third phase based on the result of the first two phases.During phase one and two I reconsidered and decided to skip the third step and put more effort in to the two first ones.

Mek Stans 07 is a machine developed for Tetra Pak in Lund as a 10p candidate theses project at Halmstad University. The commission behind the project involved development of a machine that punches holes in packages for the inspection division at Tetra Pak. The task for the machine was to facilitate the process of making openings for testing in the company?s other equipment.
