?Crumbs make crust? is a collection of memories, told in words and pictures. It is a praise of the ordinary person and the essentials of everyday life.I have several years of experience from working with elderly people in social home care service. There I was given the opportunity to meet different personalities and take part in their stories and everyday life. I have followed this life and collected memories and in this project I have portrayed an older generation, now looked upon only as crumbs, yet crumbs that in many ways rested on and still rests on society today..

Prisstrategier : En studie om dynamisk prissättning på Major events

Purpose: The purpose of this Bachelor is to analyze how the organizers of a Major event price their tickets and how these strategies consistent and differs from dynamic pricing. The study also aims to analyze whether there are conditions for dynamic pricing in Major events in the future.Theories: Dynamic pricing - Kimes model, Segmentation, price discrimination, variable ticket pricing.Method: The study used a triangulation where a qualitative interview was combined with quantitative data collection. Primary data was collected through a qualitative approach through an interview with General Secretary Tony Wiréhn and Marketing Director Malin Eldh in the local organization of the IIHF World Championship in Sweden. The quantitative data collection was to collect price information from the games played in the Swedish side of the World Championship organization arrangements.Conclusion: The conclusions that can be drawn are that the organizer of Ice Hockey World Championships today largely applies segmentation and also the second and third degree price discrimination. World Cup organization believes that it has something they call "semi-dynamic pricing", which according to this study involves a variable pricing with dynamic tendencies, then prices on some games adapted based on supply and demand during the sales period.

Förstudie om e-handel vid Stora Enso Packaging AB

Stora Enso Packaging AB (SEPack) är en av Sveriges fyra stora wellpapptillverkare och har cirka 25 procent av den svenska marknaden. I dagsläget är SEPack den enda av de fyra som inte har en generell lösning för elektronisk handel gentemot sina kunder. Representanter för värdföretaget efterfrågade underlag inför beslut om ett eventuellt införande av en e-handelslösning för företaget. För att hamna rätt med investeringen ville SEPack klargöra vilken information och vilka funktioner inom ramen för en e-handelslösning som innebar mest nytta för wellpappköpare. Man ville också klargöra vilken information och vilka funktioner som skulle vara mest intressanta ur värdföretagets perspektiv.Undersökningen delades upp i tre steg.

En utvecklingsprocess

This is a study in my preparations for my final concert at the Academy of Music and Drama- ?????????? University. My aim is to create a plan and a schedule for my practising methods and other preparations so I will be able to perform at the top of my ability.I have studied and chosen a collection of methods that will help me prepare for my concert and at the same time develop my oboe playing. As a result, I have found an effective way for me to prepare technically on my instrument. I have also learnt and developed methods in how to focus and mentally prepare for a performance..

Verifiering inför AEO-certifiering vid Attends Healthcare AB

Since January 1st 2008, companies have the opportunity to become certified by the new common customs system Authorized Economic Operator (AEO). This opportunity is presented so that authorities together with operators are trusted to ensure that it is the correct cargo that gets transported. Attends Healthcare AB (Attends) has decided to implement this certification. To qualify there are a number of criteria that needs to be met. The aim of this thesis is to verify if Attends can meet the required criteria.

That's the way the cookie crumbles : En kvalitativ fallstudie av hur förpackningsförändringar kan påverka ett varumärkes image.

Syftet är att undersöka hur en förpackningsförändring påverkar ett varumärkes image. Det varumärke som undersökts är Gille som genomförde förpackningsförändringar under 2012. Detta är en fallstudie med ett kvalitativt tillvägagångssätt genom strukturerad samtalsintervju, kvalitativ textanalys och fokusgrupper. I teorikapitlet presenteras de teoretiska utgångspunkter som ligger till grund för studiens problemområde; att kommunicera ett varumärke, att särskilja ett varumärke samt att kommuncera via förpackningen. Studien visar att majoriteten av fokusgruppsdeltagarnas bilder av varumärket förbättrades i samband med förändringarna. Resultaten visade att den bild varumärket vill kommunicera och den bild deltagarna hade inte stämde överens, vilket indikerar på ett glapp mellan varumärkesidentiteten och imagen. Förpackningsförändringarna resulterade även i svagare varumärkesassociationer, då ingen av respondenterna kunde koppla de nya förpackningarna till varumärket. .

When in the process of buying a product based high effort behavior, the consumer needs information to decide on which product that best satisfies their need. There is a wide arrange of sources where this could be found. One of the most important, due to the great influence it has on consumer choice, is in-store communications. This is also one of the least developed sources. It is not uncommon that the only facts that can be acquired are found on product packaging and from contact with the store´s staff.

Laboratory adjustment to the new regulation on classification, labeling and packaging of substances and mixtures.

The United Nations has, during many years, developed a model for a globally harmonized system for classification and labeling of chemicals, with the aim of it becoming a global standard. This system is implemented in the European Union through the CLP-regulation and is now working parallel to the existing directives until 1st of June 2015, when all the new classifications of substances and mixtures must be completed. The aim of this project was to adjust the laboratory to the new legislation, through inventory of stored chemicals, update the list of chemicals and perform self-classifications of mixtures. The work included handling of about 650 different chemicals with varying hazard classifications and search for information in corporate websites and chemical databases. This resulted in a new and complete list of chemicals stored and used in the laboratory and, in addition, an example of how to make a self classification of a mixture.

Tätningsvattenanalys: Kartering och åtgärdsförslag

På uppdrag av SCA Packaging Munksund har detta examensarbete genomförts. Företaget hade problem med sitt tätningsvatten vilket inte uppnått önskad kvalitet, vidare fanns problem med stor förbrukning av råvatten. Syftet med projektet var att få en översikt över ledningssystemet för tätningsvatten i pappersbruket samt att finna en lösning på tätningsvattenproblemet. Med hjälp av en kvantitativ metod delades projektet upp i två delar, utredning och åtgärdsförslag. Detta för att uppnå projektets syfte.

The Cost Saving Potential of Standardization, -a study at a global packaging company

To introduce a standardized component assortment takes a lot of effort in order to make real cost savings. The rationalization effect itself is important, but perhaps even more important is to state the aim of the standardization efforts in a well-defined way. How can an organization assure that they are working in a proper way? How do they know that their efforts are being interpreted into the whole organization? And, how do they know that the standardization efforts actually save money? Different components differ heavily e.g. in technical complexity and quality issues.

Referensmötet och den ickeverbala kommunikationen

This is a qualitative interview study of the importance of the non-verbal communication related to the reference situation at public libraries. The experiences of both librarians and users of the reference service have been explored with regards to non-verbal communication. Eight interviews have been carried out. The results reveal that the users and librarians consider that it is important that the librarian find eye contact as well as give affirmation through nodding and smiling. To demonstrate interest and involvement in the questions through attentive listening is also of great value.

Problem discussion: That empowerment and autonomy can lead to desirable effects on employees is clear. Previous research has found correlations between empowerment and e.g. motivation, job satisfaction, productivity, loyalty and commitment. However, a control problem arises when employees have more freedom in decision-making which could potentially lead to undesirable outcomes. It thus becomes a type of dilemma for management and managers where you have to try to balance a restrictive use of the control system (to maintain control) and an enabling use (to promote empowerment).Purpose: The purpose of this study is therefore to identify how a company can use its control system in order to achieve empowerment while maintaining acceptable levels of control.

"What does drottningen heta?" : En studie om engelsklärares kommunikation vid engelskundervisning

The aim of this study is to investigate English teachers? communication when teaching English in grade three in Swedish schools. The investigation seeks to find out what language is, and why it is, dominant and how the proportions in the teachers? uses of English and Swedish in time are distributed. The study also describes what attitudes teachers have to the English language and if, if so how, two categories of strategies, namely body language and code switching are used.The study was performed in two steps with different methods for collection of qualitative empirical data.

Grov vårdslöshet : om friskrivningens yttersta gräns på det materiella tjänsteområdet

Our purpose with this research is to highlight that there is a scope for increased value creation in the experience room during concerts, and how value-enhancing strategies can be a competitive advantage for different venues. In our investigation of this we have worded the following research question: How is the perceived customer value affected during a concert in the experience room and its physical environment? With the background in this question we have identified three key concepts that we believe are the influence of the total concert experience which are; sensory experiences, interaction and identity. From these concepts we have drafted a number of propositions to test the reality by our empirical data collection. .
