From January 1st 2011 the use of Eurocode will be mandatory for all constructionprojects. Eurocode is the common European set of struc-tural design codes which willreplace BKR (Boverkets Kon-struktionsregler). BKR is the Swedish set of structuraldesign codes that was used up until December 31 2010. For consulting firms this willcre-ate a need for them to invest in the standards and in education for thecoworkers. This will involve both time and costs for the company.The purpose and aim of this master thesis is the development of compute examplesand calculations aid by dimensioning with Euro-code.

According to the Swedish curriculum the education should establish respect for human rights and democratic values (Skolverket, 2011, s.7). The purpose of this study is to investigate how five first grade teachers understand the democracy education and how they practice it in reality. I have, based on the purpose of this study issued following questions:What is the teachers interpretation of the democracy education? How does the teachers work with democracy in practice?What difficulties does the teachers see with the democracy education?This study is made through a qualitative method based on interviews with five teachers. The results show that the teachers at both schools, despite the different definitions of the concept of democracy, yet interprets democracy education relatively equal.

Färdplan Flen är ett utvecklingsprojekt som drivs av Flens kommun och beräknas vara klart år2019. Den negativa utvecklingen inom kommunen med ett allt mer sjunkande befolkningsantal som i sin tur genererar mindra skatteintäkter har gjort att Färdplan Flen inrättats. I projektet ligger ett antal delprojekt som bland annat handlar om ortsutveckling och där har kommunen redan börjat arbeta med Malmköping som ett första steg. Ett annat delprojekt är Flen 2019 som handlar om att Flens kommun 2012 ska vara klara med en vision som kommer att arbetas fram under 2011 och vara verkställd 2019.I dagsläget arbetas det också på att skapa mer delaktighet mot invånarna och de anställda inom kommunen. Färdplan Flen är intresserad av Open Space och ska utföra workshops med detta tema för att få in invånarnas åsikter.

At present Getinge can offer a new generation of trolleys that they produced in 2011. The trolley used to Getinge various autoclaves and has the primary task to help the user/sterilization personnel to transport shelves or baskets, with or without cargo, from a packing table to the autoclave. The purpose of this thesis has been to develop a primary solution how the docking process between Getinge trolleys and autoclaves can be improved. The work has in most part followed Fredy Olsson principle and primary construction method. The work has included product research, study visit and development of a requirements specification, to satisfy Getinge, their clients and circumvention products requirements.

This BA Thesis in Journalism is a quantitative analysis of the coverage of wolves in Swedish printed media. Namely four daily newspapers, two national and two local. The two national newspapers are Aftonbladet which is a leading tabloid newspaper with national coverage and Svenska Dagbladet which is one of the two major newspapers with national coverage, as well as coverage of the greater Stockholm region. The two local newspapers are Falu Kuriren, which is located in Falun and mainly cover the province of Dalarna and Nya Wermlands-tidningen which is located in Karlstad and mainly cover the province of Värmland. These are provinces which have a large wolf population.As the work progressed we found that the newspapers have handled the coverage of the wolf in, what we believe, a good way.

In 2008 the National Library of Sweden decided to give upClassification system for Swedish libraries and start using DDC(Dewey Decimal Classification) from January 1 2011. Thisdecision has influenced the whole Swedish library system and longbefore the National Library of Sweden took this decision thequestion had been thoroughly discussed and debated in Librariancircles.The aim of this thesis is to find out which arguments have beenintroduced in the debate, if the discussion has changed from beforethe decision to go over to DDC was taken to after wards, and if sohow it has changed. My thesis will discuss the following threequestions:? Which arguments were brought forward in the debate,both for and against a transition?? How has the debate about the Swedish libraries?transition from Classification system for Swedishlibraries to DDC changed from before the decision ofthe Royal Library was taken to after?? What conclusions can you draw from the debatewhich has been led about the transition to DDC?The empirical material consists of six articles dealing with thetransition to DDC and in the analysis of this material I have used atext analyses, analysis of. The analysis shows that more or less thesame arguments for and against have been used in practically allthe articles, and the debate has not changed very much.

A new site- and construction-law came into effect in May 2011. The new law, PBL2010:900 implies several different changes of the law. These changes concern bothconstructors, people working in municipality and county councils and other peoplethat in some way are related to the building sector. Except from the change in orderof the chapters and the renewed and modernized language, the law has now beenextended with a few new phases.According to the new law a certificate has to be issued to start and finish theconstruction; the construction consulting has changed name into technical consultingand the protocol for the controls has to show what the control is being compared to.This diploma work concerns control visits on construction sites as related to the newlaw. The reason why visits on construction sites are now implemented in the law isbecause the government saw a lack of trustworthiness in the old law.

Denna uppsats syftar till att undersöka lärares metoder vid bedömning och betygsättning, samt ta reda på om metoderna skiljer sig beroende på om lärare haft förutsättningar till kollegiala samtal kring ämnet och om detta påverkar likvärdigheten.I arbetet kom det fram att lärare ofta använder sig av insamlande av bevis. Det visade sig även att lärare, som haft större möjlighet att diskutera bedömning och betygsättning tillsammans med sina kollegor, tenderar att i större utsträckning planera sitt arbete mer målstyrt än andra lärare. Det kan konstateras att likvärdigheten, när det gäller bedömning och betygsättning, gynnas av att det finns stora förutsättningar för kollegiala samtal kring detta.Uppsatsen påbörjades hösten 2007 och ska läsas med den tidens ögon, då en ny läroplan införts under 2011. Mycket har hänt sedan dess, både när det gäller betygssystem och arbetet med att implementera den nya läroplanen i skolan, vilket i sin tur bidragit till samtal kring bedömning och betygsättning..

Med det övergripande syftet attSegebadenpulkan ska ha en ny, banbrytande turpulka till försäljning hösten 2011 och projektmålet att färdigställa ett transportkapell har ett examensarbete genomförts. Samtliga ingående delar har definierats och arbetet redovisas delvis i denna rapport och delvis som en prototyp. Prototyper har tagits fram och genomgått ett koncept- och prototyptest under en nio dagar lång vinterexpedition i Sareks nationalpark. Två kapellprototyper med olika dellösningar har utvärderats och resulterat i ett helt nytt transportkapell. Vidare har den textil som ska användas till kapellet genomgått tester för vattenresistens, luftpermeabilitet, abrasionsresistens och tvättning.

I detta arbete undersöks vilka kompetenser som testas i lärargjorda matematikprov i gymnasieskolan. Studien är gjord inom Matematik A, eftersom den nya kursplanen kom ut sommaren 2011 och de flesta lärarna har inte hunnit göra något prov inom Matematik 1 som den nya kursen heter. De kompetenser som används i denna studie är beskrivna av Palm, Bergqvist, Eriksson, Hellström och Häggström (2004). Studien är helt byggd på analys av proven från kompetenserna, vilket betyder att inga intervjuer, enkäter eller annat har gjorts. Först löstes alla uppgifter för att få en förståelse i vad uppgifterna testar.

This essay investigates the integration of the school library into teaching in one of Sweden?s senior high schools and the effects of the new education act which gives school libraries a stronger standing. A second purpose is to investigate teachers? views on professional responsibility with regard to the development of information literacy. Through an email survey different aspects of library integration are investigated.

Animal Data är ett system som ska användas på djurkliniker för att hantera alla arbetsuppgifter som kan finnas på en klinik. På uppdrag av Mon 7 Consulting AB, som har skapat Animal Data, skulle detta utvärderas utefter hur användarvänligt det var. Om det upptäcktes funktioner som inte fungerade som önskat skulle designförslag för dessa tas fram. För att se hur det nuvarande systemet fungerar så gjordes användartester vid två mättillfällen där deltagarna och uppgifterna bedömdes utifrån task success och tidtagning. Detta för att se om det fanns tecken på learnability i Animal Data.

Gymnasieskolans fem introduktionsprogram startade 2011 och ersatte det Individuella programmet. Introduktionsprogrammen erbjuds de elever som saknar formell behörighet att söka nationellt program på gymnasiet. Studiens syfte är att bidra med kunskap om vad lärare på Introduktionsprogrammet anser att de behöver för kompetens. Undersökningen har skett med hjälp av sju djupintervjuer med lärare som representerar såväl kärn- som karaktärsämnen på Introduktionsprogrammet. Studiens resultat, analyserat med hjälp av Per- Eric Ellströms (1992) modell för kompetens, visar att informanterna framhäver kognitiv kompetens, såsom ämneskunskaper, för att möta de olika förkunskaper som eleverna har i respektive ämne.

This is a case study of Carlstad Comic Con 2011 and 2012.The purpose is to study the event in relation to a project management and a local culture policy perspective. This in order to analyze the organization of a popular culture event and see how such a local event may benefit Karlstad as a city. Besides studying the organization of Carlstad Comic Con and its outcomes I am sketching a short cultural history of popular culture media and its context within recent year?s globalization.The study shows that the events have had a great beneficial impact on the local industry; lacking any negative sides, and have put Karlstad in an international context which goes directly in line with the standard guidelines for project management of region culture policy. Concerning how to organize the event the organizers have not followed a strict project structure.
