The purpose of this study was to investigate the teacher?s situation in the correctionaltreatment?s client education. The paper examined teachers? experiences of their professionalroles as well as their perception of the students? situation. The study wasbased on telephone interviews that were recorded and analyzed afterwards as well asan analysis of texts that affect the teachers? work.

There are some hazards associated with mediating dogs for adoption to Sweden from foreigncountries. Contagion is considered to be one of them, but this report focuses solely on what adoptionsmay signify to the dogs concerning animal welfare. The aim of this study is to investigate how thebusiness in Sweden is run and what this can imply to the adopted dogs. Websites of the organizationswhich perform mediation of dogs, has been examined to show which information is available. A webquestionnaire was sent to these organizations to learn more about their standard procedure.

The purpose of this thesis is to describe what Building Information Modeling, BIM, could mean for landscape architects, and also hopefully to make sense of the possibilities and problems of the system. BIM is about virtual design and is based on all consultancy groups in the design team modeling in 3D. Intelligent objects and metadata, such as price and material, are used. The project group has a common interchange format for simple sharing of information. To get an idea of how the situation with BIM for landscape architects looks like today, I collected information mostly through interviews.

A qualitative method is used which consist of interviews involving representatives of BRIS, the Police, Social Service, a Woman Shelter, and two Crisis Centers with different concentrations.

Through its microcredit programmes, the organization Grameen Bank offers ?aid to self-help? to poor women on the countryside in Bangladesh. The purpose of this essay is to investigate how participation in Grameen?s microcredit programmes can affect these women?s social situation and working situation.

Genom decentralisering vill företagen korta ner tiden för beslutsprocesser och ge ett större ekonomiskt ansvar för varje enhet, man vill med detta nå en effektivisering inom företaget. Problem som kan uppstå vid decentralisering är att samordning och kontroll av enheter försvåras. Dessa problem försöker företag lösa genom att införa ett internprissystem. Internprissystemet byggs på företagets specifika situation och dess syfte med internprissättningen. Internprissättning är ett komplicerat område, men det handlar om att kunna styra, kontrollera och motivera de självständiga enheterna.

This study is about the above-average pupils? situation in schools and how teachers work to encourage and motivate these pupils' development in mathematics. The purpose of this study is to find out how a group of teachers work with above-average pupils in mathematics. The study addresses previous research on these students' school situation and how teachers should work with them. There have been unstructured interviews with a number of educators to get a personal insight into how they work with above-average pupils.

Surrogate boycotts are highly threatening for corporations in terms of both economical cost and image damage. All corporations are due to our globalized environment and increased stakeholder fragmentation gradually more risking to become victims of surrogate boycotts, which of nature is hard if not impossible to predict and prevent. Corporations are generally recommended to build clear and strong corporate identities, which should be reflected in their most important stakeholders, as this will secure minimum damage on the corporate image. Even a surrogate boycott situation can have positive effects on corporations, especially in terms of image, as such situation increases the brand involvement and thereby make it possible for corporations to connect with important stakeholders on an emotional level. .

Detta arbete undersöker skillnader i tidseffektivitet mellan beteendeträd ochHierarchical Task Network. En enklare spelprototyp av typen top-down 2D shoot-emup implementerades. Spelprototypen använder två typer av autonom motspelare så kallade botar. En bot för beteendeträd och en bot för Hierarchical Task Network. Spelprototypen mäter körtiden för varje typ av bot i sex olika situationer.

Kommunikation, lärande och sociala relationer är tre grundstenar som ingår i begreppet delaktighet. Möjligheten att få ta del i sin omvårdnad kan påverka vården på ett sätt som är mer gynnsamt för patienten. I omvårdnaden är begreppet KASAM kärnan. Syftet med studien var att genom en litteraturstudie beskriva patienters upplevelser av delaktighet inom slutenvård utifrån KASAM:s komponenter efter att ha varit inskriven på en vårdavdelning. Syftet var även att granska urvalsmetod samt dataanalys i de vetenskapliga artiklar som studerades.

Arbetslöshet är ett världsomfattande problem som för med sig allvarliga konsekvenser både på samhälls- och individnivå. Att vara arbetslös innebär för de allra flesta att befinna sig i en icke önskvärd situation eftersom lönearbete har en så central roll i det moderna samhället och värderas högt inte minst av dem som är arbetslösa. Uppsatsens syfte är att undersöka hur arbetslösa på två kontinenter, i Sverige och i utvecklingslandet Honduras, upplever sin livssituation i form av meningsfullhet, begriplighet och hanterbarhet. De frågor som vi ställt oss är vilken betydelse har det sociala nätverket för den arbetslöse i Honduras och i Sverige? Skiljer sig de arbetslösas copingstrategier åt i Honduras och i Sverige.

Invandrarkvinnor är den grupp som har högst arbetslöshet i Sverige. Invandrarkvinnor är även den grupp som utsätts för mest diskriminering på arbetsmarknaden bland annat på grund av deras kultur och/eller etniska ursprung. Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka hur tio invandrarkvinnor själva upplever sin situation på den svenska arbetsmarknaden. Syftet är vidare att undersöka vilka förutsättningar invandrarkvinnorna upplever att de har för att komma in i arbetslivet samt hur invandrarkvinnorna upplever att myndigheter hjälpt dem att komma in på arbetsmarknaden. Syftet besvaras utifrån tio invandrarkvinnors subjektiva erfarenheter och tankar om den svenska arbetsmarknaden samt de myndigheter de har kommit i kontakt med.

The aim of this study has been to create an understanding for the situation of an often forgotten group in foster care, the carers? own children. Our main focus has been the experience this group has of foster care, their experience of participation in caring for the foster children and their possible need of support and help. Our chosen method has been qualitative interviews with six adult children of foster carers, two men and four women. The theory used in this study has been Sense of Coherence.Our interviewees gave mainly a positive description of being part of a foster family even though they could give examples of difficult situation and of loss.

Vilka typer av målchanser leder oftast till mål och är därmed mest effektiva?MetodStudiens datainsamlingsmetod har varit observation av 16 fotbollsmatcher från världsmästerskapen i fotboll 2006. Matcherna är inspelade på DVD från SVT:s och TV4:s TV-sändningar. Varje målchans har analyserats och kategoriserats och förts in i ett analysschema bestående av tio kategorier.
