This study investigated the possibility of implementing three standards, Transistion Minimized Differential Signaling (TMDS) and two versions of Stub Series Terminated Logic (SSTL), for inter-chip communication in a specific manufacturing process. The two SSTL standards were implemented in one transceiver system while TMDS was implemented in a separate system. The evaluation was done with Spice simulations on schematic level with some parasitic capacitance and resistance. The idea was to investigate the possibility of implementing these standards and get an idea of eventual shortcomings. In order to create models as a basis for evaluation, simulation environments with models for circuit board and packages were created and transmitters and receivers were designed.

The purpose of the essay has been to examine representations of immigrants in contemporary library and information science research in a Scandinavian context. By analyzing nine articles from the past decade we examine the perceptions that exist in the concepts of multiculturalism, culture, race, ethnicity, religion, gender and whiteness and what role and importance the library as a place is assigned in relation to immigrants as a user group. Our study consists of a qualitative text analysis, a critical oriented close reading method based on critical race and whiteness studies and intersectional theory. We have, with the help of Sara Ahmed´s theories of hegemonic whiteness, demonstrated how multiculturalism is partly presented as something desirable and good, partly as something potentially threatening.The discourse of multiculturalism can be said to express the notions of the other, which in the source material manifests itself by ascribing otherness to immigrants. We have, for example, examined how ethnical and cultural differences are highlighted by a separation of East and West, the library?s educational and assisting role in relation to immigrants as a user group as well as representations of whiteness, gender and clothes.

Stem rust, Puccinia graminis, has caused enormous yield losses throughout history which have had significant consequences for oat and wheat production. Today in Sweden stem rust is only reported from rye, oats and wild grasses. The objective of this study was to validate how a terrestrial laser scanner could be used to measure stem diameter, and to test how the errors depend on distance from the scanner and tree species. Inklusionskriterierna var vuxna ?18 ?r, intervention best?ende av ?gg eller ?ggula, kontroll best?ende av ?ggsubstitut/?ggvita/habituell kost/annat livsmedel som inte inneh?ller ?ggula, utfallet TMAO i plasma och studiedesign RCT. Syftet med studien var att undersöka hur psykosociala faktorer som habitus, socialt kapital, attribution och inlärd hjälplöshet påverkar elevens motionsvanor och aktiva medverkan i ämnet Idrott och hälsa. Genom en enkätstudie på en grundskola och en gymnasieskola samlades 113 enkätsvar in och analyserades.Resultatet av studien pekar på att de undersökta faktorerna spelar stor roll i elevernas livsituation och till viss del deras närvaro i ämnet Idrott och hälsa, även om den på de besökta skolorna varit hög. Föräldrar, vänner och omgivning har stor betydelse för elevernas attityd och inställning till idrottande och tillsammans påverkar de i förlängningen närvaron i Idrott och hälsa.Gällande attributionsteorin finns tydliga kopplingar till olika faktorer, främst inre och yttre faktorer. Det märks tydligt att eleverna begår det fundamentala attributionsfelet då de tillskriver andra elevers frånvaro inre faktorer samtidigt som deras egen frånvaro oftast påstås ha yttre orsaksförklaringar. Tecken finns även på självtjänande bias, omvänd självtjänande bias och self-handicapping.

Husaberg provided the project group with a task of developing an entirely new way of operating the sequential transmission that can be found in today?s motorcycles. The target was to bring the product from idea to a functional prototype ready for further tests. Operation of the motorcycles transmission is today made by a foot pedal placed on the left hand side of the bike.

In this master's thesis the problem of determining the uncertainty for an estimator of an unknown parameter is considered. The case we study is the estimation of gravity using a reversible pendulum. This involves the estimation of the point where two regression lines intersect. The estimated gravity is a function the coordinates of this point. One way to determine the uncertainty of this estimator is to use bootstrap methods.
