The increasing health problems in our society have been lifted to the surface and debated for quite some time now. Even though the statistics of bad health somewhat have dropped, the problems still remain. Many companies are wrestling with this and are suffering from huge financial losses due to the costs of people frequently calling in sick for work. This has resulted in an increasingly high expansion of different types of preventive measures in order to avert health problems. But far from all companies reach these goals and it is there for of high value to study how important resources can be used in a more efficient way.The purpose of this study is to achieve a deeper understanding for Health promotive services in companies and to understand which influential factors are crucial in the process of reaching successful strategic Health promotions.
Franchiseföretaget jobzone : En studie om utmaningar och problem kring överföring av affärskoncept och organisationskultur
ABSTRACTHelena Nowachek The purpose of the following study is to focus upon the possibilities and challenges associated with the transference of corporate culture from one organization to another. I have chosen to address this by looking at the franchise company Jobzone, which works specifically with recruitment and outsourcing. As a method I have interviewed three people in Jobzone: one person who is responsible for education, one franchising boss in Sweden and one franchisee. To delineate the concept of culture I apply both Schein?s model, in which he divides culture into the three levels of artifacts, values and basic assumptions, as well as a general theory of communication.

Låsanordning med induktiv laddning för elcyklar
This thesis has been adjusted because some parts are classified, some sentences might have been changed. Electric bikes are a convenient mode of transport, a good choice when long distances or tough slopes can be an obstacle.The goal of the project was to create a prototype on a locking mechanism with an inductive charger for electric bikes.The idea behind the project was to develop a user-friendly locking mechanism, where the bikes would be charged inductively when they were locked. To implement the project facts about induction, battery charging and locking devices was needed to be acquired. Circuits for induction charging were created and a lock device was constructed. A microprocessor was used to control the entire system.A prototype was designed with a locking device and an inductive charger fixed in a bike rack.The entire project became very wide which resulted in that not all of the parts of the project could be completed.
Ekonomistyrning i primärvården - En jämförelse mellan privata och offentliga utförare
The aim of this thesis is to analyze and explain the similarities and differences in management control between a private and a public primary care company. A comparative case study was developed based on one public and one private primary care company in Stockholm County Council. The framework of Otley (1999) was used to define and limit the area of management control systems, according to his five factors. For the analysis of the empirical results Hood's (1995) seven doctrines of New Public Management was applied, and customized to fit the purpose of the study. The results indicate that the differences between the two organizations are very limited.

The purpose of this thesis was to explore how Swedish librarians working with educational matters In Swedish: studiebibliotekarier experience his/her pedagogic work in the context of a public library. My intention was thus to reach an understanding of how they experienced their educational work. The following questions were asked: 1 How do the librarians experience the physical environment created for their students? 2 How do the librarians experience the co-operation with others involved in their work? 3 How do the librarians experience the formal task that he/she now is given? 4 How do the librarians experience their own pedagogic qualifications regarding the demands that are made upon them by the students? I have interviewed six librarians and incorporated theories on pedagogic roles in an educational context. I reached the conclusion that these librarians believed the environment to be important for the outcome of the students success with their studies.

Fetma och övervikt är ett allt mer vanligt problem över hela världen och därav ökar även överviktskirurgin. Gastric bypass är den vanligaste metoden i Sverige och ses som ett redskap för viktminskning. För att bibehålla viktminskningen spelar andra faktorer än operationen en roll hos patienterna. Studiens syfte var att finna framgångsfaktorer vid en bibehållen viktminskning postoperativt. Metoden var av fenomenologisk narrativ karaktär och datainsamlingen skedde med hjälp av intervjuer.

The educational underachievement of children in foster care has been known for a long time. This study aimed to compile and analyze the current knowledge about interventions, intended to improve foster children?s school achievements. The method used was a systematically undertaken narrative review. Despite a comprehensive searching strategy, only ten relevant studies were found, indicating that little has been done to improve the educational outcomes for children in public care.

This Bachelor?s thesis is about bossless organizations. We have observed that the hierarchical structure that the majority of organizations is structured by today is a remnant of a time long gone, and can be an obstacle for independent thinking and responsibility inside organizations. We want to question the accepted perception that an organization is best structured in a hierarchic form.The purpose of the thesis is to provide an understanding of how a bossless organization works and to give a concrete explanation of the consequences of this kind of organizational structure.The thesis is of a qualitative nature and is designed with an inductive approach at an organizational level. We conducted a case study on a bossless company and supplemented this with secondary sources from three other bossless organizations.It concludes that the bossless approach can work and that there are a number of advantages to benefit from it.
Service till alla? : Folkbibliotekens roll i de små och medelstora företagens informationsförsörjning - en granskning av tre företagsserviceprojekt
The purpose of this study is to examine and explain why three Swedish public libraries failedin their ambition to act as information services for small and medium-sized firms (SMF). To support this purpose two major assumptions are made:1) Public libraries who plan to run this kind of "business" must act with the same means as "professional" services.2) The service must be adjusted to the information needs of the customer.Based on these assumptions sixteen factors which are crucial to the "success" for this kind of service are presented.Applied to the information services of Lidkoping, Sölvesborg and Västervik, these factors reveal a number of shortcomings and mistakes made by the libraries.To understand this result these information services are seen as parts of a traditional Swedish public "library-thought". It is shown that, fundamental ideas in the way the public libraries are defined, like the responsibility to act in a neutral and democratic way, also characterised the three information services.These ideas together with the opinion of SMF as a "rational" information-consumer resulted in information services who did not meet the information-needs and information-behaviour of SMF..
Från ideell förening till vinstdrivande företag : en studie av svensk elithockey
Abstract We have in this thesis examined two elite hockey clubs in the Swedish Elite League, Brynäs IF and Linköpings HC. Our questions revolve around how they set themselves to bring in an external owner of the club. Our aim was to examine how Linköping and Brynäs stands on the issue of the external owners of the club, which is currently regulated by Riksidrottsförbundets 51/49%-rule which means that the club must control at least 51% of the club while external shareholders can take up to 49 %. Then, we compare the clubs with each other. Interviewees have been clubs club CEO:s and supporters club chairman.
Balanced Scorecard i svenska kommuner
Purpose: The purpose with our study is to accomplish a quantitative research of
all municipalities in Sweden and see why they apply Balanced Scorecard. The
study will also investigate the spread of Balanced Scorecard, even the benefits
and how they use it.
Method: In our study we have chosen a quantitative research. The study has been
accomplished with a questionnaire survey which we sent to all of the Swedish
municipalities. We have also done a literature study to get more knowledge
about relevant theories. Finally we have compiled the questionnaire in Netigate
and Excel, and analysed the result from the questionnaire.
Results: Balanced Scorecard is well-known in the Swedish municipalities and 36
percent of the municipalities use this scorecard in whole or in parts of the
organisation.
Befogenheter i offentlig & privat äldreomsorg: fallstudier av befogenhetsskillnader hos arbetsledare mellan fyra servicehus i Stockholms stad
Nästan en femtedel av den svenska befolkningen är 65 år eller äldre. Debatter kring privatisering av offentlig vård har aktualiserat frågan om likheter och skillnader mellan offentlig och privat verksamhet. Få undersökningar har gjorts av arbetsledarnas situation, trots att det är de som har verksamhetsansvaret. Uppsatsens syfte är att undersöka om det finns några skillnader i befogenheter mellan arbetsledare på servicehus i offentlig och privat sektor, med fokus på de formella befogenheterna. Vi har gjort fallstudier av fyra servicehus i Stockholm.
