The study of the French market for softwood has been done in collaboration with VIDA AB. The aim of the study was to investigate important product quality and service quality dimensions, the customers? perception of the offering and generally describe the French market and present actors. The market for softwood around the world changes over time and new markets can mean opportunities for the sawmilling industry. The French market is the second biggest European market for softwood, has had presence of actors with sourcing of raw material from the Nordic countries for decades and there is a growing interest for building with wood. Theory being used is about the different dimensions that make up the total quality of softwood, together with intangible dimensions making up the total offering that helps the sawmilling industry to create positive perceived value for the customers. Methodological approach in the study was a case study research design, aimed at providing knowledge about one specific subject in one context. The general description was mostly carried out by literature studies and data from various statistics sources.

Denna uppsats behandlar effekterna av den ökande andelen visstidsanställda journalister på landets redaktioner. Fokus är journalisternas autonomi, det vill säga möjlighet att styra det egna arbetet och att agera självständigt. Mer specifikt behandlar uppsatsen vilken betydelse anställningsform har för hur journalister uppfattar sin autonomi.Studien är kvantitativ och består av enkätdata från Journalist 2005, vilken är den senaste av de journalistundersökningar i projektet Svenska Journalister som har genomförts vid Institutionen för Journalistik och Masskommunikation vid Göteborgs universitet, JMG.Teoretiskt utgår uppsatsen från forskning kring journalisters autonomi samt John Atkinsons teori om ?The Flexible Firm? där anställda förväntas vara uppdelade mellan en kärngrupp och en perifer grupp. Fyra hypoteser om vad som påverka autonomin har konstruerats och operationaliserats genom sex variabler; kön, ålder, kommersiell/icke-kommersiell, TV/radio, huvudsaklig arbetsuppgift och anställningsform.

In the present thesis, we have studied the management control system in Enskede-Årsta-Vantör, one of Stockholm?s municipal districts, with focus on theories about New Public Management (NPM). When NPM was introduced, a number of complications arose. Some of these, along with the district?s solutions of the complications, are described and analyzed using e.g.

This study aims to investigate, describe and discuss the views of group new arrived pupils from the preparatory training to the compulsory school level. They all came to Sweden and started in the preparatory training there they also started studying Swedish as a second language. This study aims to investigate the creation of identities and how the pupils socialize in the Swedish school. The study has been conducted with respect to the pupil´s own perspectives and what they consider important.The methods used are interviews together with an interpreter. Their voices are used and described in this paper.

Antalet konkurrensutsättningar av fastighetsdrift har ökat väsentligt under 2000-talet. Parallellt med detta har även entreprenörsmarknaden utvecklats och den består idag av ett fåtal stora aktörer. Brister i utförandet gällande undermålig leverans har de senaste åren konstaterats men problemen är ej utredda eller lösta. Syftet med studien har därför varit att kartlägga olika driftupphandlingar och dess problem för att skapa förutsättningar för en gemensam utveckling inom fastighetsbranschen avseende beställar- och entreprenörssidan. Resultaten visar på att bristande lönsamhet existerar i många entreprenader vilket bland annat beror på en osund konkurrens mellan entreprenörerna och krav på sänkta kostnader från beställarna.
