Huvudsyftet med denna uppsats är att undersöka effekterna av aggressionsersättningsträning (ART) program på tre kriminalvårdsanstalter och två frivårdskontor. Huvudfrågeställningen som belyses i studien är: förändras deltagarna i ART-program med avseende på empati och attityder till kriminalitet? För att besvara dessa frågor har vi utfört för- och eftertester på tre kriminalvårdsanstalter och två frivårdskontor. Instrumenten som användes i testerna är Davis Interpersonal Reactivity Index (IRI) och Mill's Measures of Criminal Attitudes and Associates (MCAA).Slutsatserna som kan dras utifrån denna studie är att den emotionella empati-komponenten "personal distress" visar en minskning som kan förklaras av interaktionen med ART.The aim of this study is to investigate the effects of Aggression Replacement Training (ART) program in some of the prisons and probation authorities of the Swedish correctional system. The purpose of this study was to find knowledge about ostomy patients experience with a focus on overall life situation and the care they receive from the nurse. The method used was a systematic literature review according to Polit, Beck & Hungler. Six scientific research reports have been used as foundation of the result in this study. The articles have been reviewed according to Antonovsky's Sense of Coherence (SOC).The result shows that experiences of having ostomy are individual. Adapting to their new life situation varies depending on the reason for having an ostomy.

?Studies have shown that patients receiving mechanical ventilation in an intensive care unit (ICU), who are entirely dependent on the nursing staff, often experience frustration due to a temporary loss of the voice source. Limited communication is an important factor contributing to patient discomfort. Nursing staff also report communication as frustrating and difficult.The aim of the present study is to introduce a neck-type electrolarynx as a communication aid in an ICU, to study the nursing staff experiences of communication with tracheotomized patients receiving mechanical ventilation, and to examine the patient´s experiences regarding communicative abilities. Communication between a ventilator treated, tracheotomized patient and members of the nursing staff was recorded and analyzed according to principles of Conversation Analysis (CA).The results show that several members of the nursing staff experience difficulties communicating with tracheotomized patients receiving mechanical ventilation.

Många städer vill utveckla vattenkontakt, tillgängliggöra och öka den urbana vattenkvaliteten. Gatukontorets programenhet i Malmö stad beslutade 2012 att ett program för stadens kanal skulle tas fram. Jag blev involverad i detta arbete och beslutade mig för att även skriva mitt examensarbete om detta ämne. Målet med uppsatsen är tredelat; att ta fram ett program för Malmös kanal, att beskriva och reflektera över programmet, samt att föra en bredare diskussion kring urbant vatten. De metoder jag använt mig av för att färdigställa arbetet har varit inventering, analys, intervjuer, arkiv- och kartstudier, litteraturstudier, workshop samt en form av introspektiv efterreflektion. Resultatet har blivit ett program för utveckling av Malmös kanalrum, samt en beskrivning och reflektion av programskrivandet, dess kontext och arbetsprocess samt en reflektion kring urbant vatten. Frågan om stadens relation till vattnet är ytterst aktuell, dels för att vattnets och och de angränsande stadsrummens värde som rekreationsområden och sociala arenor ökat markant, men även för de utmaningar vi står inför med klimatförändringar och en höjd havsnivå. This thesis work involves a quantitative study concerning secondary school students' understanding of older Swedish words in the lyrics in the Lucia song written by Elmfors way back in 1919th. The text has some old words and phrases that today's high school students do not really understand. The study includes surveys of two different classes in high school, a theoretical and a practical program. In some cases students can understand words by the context, but previous research shows results in general weakness in students' existing vocabulary. According to previous research, this is due, inter alia, that young people read and write less today.The results of all students are totally 38%, where the theoretical program has a slightly higher performance.

The nursing is controlled by different models of nursing and careplans, shaped by every patient?s individual needs. This is to guarantee the quality of the care. SammanfattningDen här uppsatsen är skriven för att undersöka vad gymnasieelever anser om en eventuell bedömning av ordning och uppförande i den svenska skolan. Den huvudsakliga forskningsfrågan är: skiljer sig elevernas uppfattningar inom ämnet beroende på om de går ett yrkesförberedande program eller ett studieförberedande program? Genom en enkätundersökning som totalt 127 elever från 3 gymnasieskolor i Gävleborgs län fyllt i har jag fått fram min empiri. Det huvudsakliga resultatet av undersökningen visar att elever från yrkesförberedande program är mer för en bedömning av ordning och uppförande än elever från studieförberedande program.     De har den gemensamma åsikten att bedömningen skall ske som ett separat dokument.

Swedish healthcare is in continuous need of cost savings and efficiency improvements in order to meet the increased demand for care. The theories of lean, developed from the industry, are applied more frequently on healthcare systems to increase effectiveness and reduce waiting times in patient processes. However, some processes seem to be more successful in their lean implementation than others. In this thesis, factors influencing flow efficiency in lean healthcare are examined. Through interviews with the top executive board at Capio St Göran's hospital, data is collected in order to analyze reasons for success.

Denna rapport inriktar sig till ett mindre företag som vill tillhandahålla en egen fjärrbackuplösning. Backupen ska göras från en server placerad i företagets lokal till en lagringsenhet i någon av ägarnas hem med hjälp av VPN-förbindelse. För detta krävs ett program som har stöd för att göra uppkoppling automatiskt via VPN på en Windows 2008 Server, 64-bit plattform. Utöver det ska kryptering, komprimering och funktion för full och inkrementell backup finnas tillgängligt i programmet. Fyra fjärrbackupprogram har därför utsetts för jämförelse av hur de kan lösa företagets krav.

Syftet med vårt arbete är att undersöka om det finns skillnader i antalet dyslektiker mellan könen på de skolor som vi har undersökt. Vi vill även se om det finns andra faktorer som påverkar att det kan finnas skillnader i könsfördelningen av dyslektiker på skolorna. Det har framkommit i olika forskningsstudier om dyslexi att det är fler pojkar än flickor som är dyslektiker. De uppgifterna har på senare tid ifrågasatts av nya forskningsrön inom dyslexi. Det som intresserar oss i vår undersökning är hur könsfördelningen hos dyslektiker ser ut inom yrkesförberedande program i förhållande till högskoleförberedande program.

This study aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of interdisciplinary collaborations between Art and Mathematics within the Arts program at the upper secondary school level. Grounded in sociocultural theory, this study explores learning through language, action, and context, drawing on the works of theorists such as Lev Vygotsky (1995/2016), John Dewey (1897/2011) and Roger S?lj? (2020). Through semi-structured interviews, educators in both Art and Mathematics discuss shared subject content and explore opportunities and obstacles in fostering a collaborative culture within the Arts program at the upper secondary school level. The study reveals common subject content in Art and Mathematics suitable for interdisciplinary collaboration.

Background: Relatives are those persons who are closest to the patient, regardless of relationship and included into the patient´s life world. When a person is in a palliative stage this affects not only the patient but also the relatives, as it implies such a big change in life for all. The nurse has an important role for both the patient and the relatives. Aim: The aim is to highlight the relative´s needs of support for palliative care. Method: A literature review based on previous research. Ten articles were found, nine with a qualitative approach and one with both qualitative and quantitative approach. Results: The analysis resulted in six themes, these were the result of the study. The six themes were, ?to be seen an confirmed?, ?good communication?, ?continuous information?, ?availability and continuity?, ?to participate? and ?to share responsibility with the staff?. Conclusion: As a nurse we come in contact with relatives of patients in a palliative setting in any form.

Background. Anesthetic-related death in small animal anesthesia is about ten times more common than in human anesthesia. Recent research identifies the early postoperative period as particularly risky and highlights the need for regular and careful monitoring of the veterinary patient during this period. Objective. The aims of this study were to investigate whether there are standard procedures in terms of regulated routine patient observations and record-keeping during the early postoperative period at Swedish veterinary clinics, and if there are any guidelines for monitoring the veterinary patient during recovery. Methods. A small survey including ten Swedish veterinary clinics was carried out as well as a literature review. Results.
