Att skilja på sak och person - Hur ökad personifiering i media kan leda till bättre politisk kunskap hos mottagarna
Mass media is becoming more and more personalized and despite common ideas it could actually be a good thing. Instead of affecting the actual content of news coverage it might only have an effect on the way in which news are presented. Famous politicians more regularly become symbols and synonyms for their parties or for the government and are being used to create interest in the beginning of articles.Those are the results from a content analysis of the newspaper coverage of the Swedish parliamentary election in 1976 and 2006 in which the scientist categorized each article in one of four ideal types, counted quotes and analyzed whether personal names were interchangeable with party names without affecting the content. All three methods showing that it is the presentation, not the content, which has been personalized.At the same time, psychology-science tells us about the human brains associative learning processes, where memorizing becomes far more efficient when the information can be connected to an already known person. The cases focused on in this paper includes people who are distanced from their private lives at least a few consecutive months but are all aiming to get back when they are done with their individual errands.

The aim of this paper is to examine the layout of public spaces and its effect on human behavior with focus on the relation between pedestrians and cyclists movement patterns in a specific path. The study emanates from the security aspect of pedestrians and cyclists, and builds upon previous theories and empirical studies about perception, security, information design, environmental psychology and behavior. The result shows that individual behavior and movement pattern differs with age, purpose, physical- and other conditions, and layout of the surroundings. A design proposal for improved layout of a path and a node between different oncoming paths has been developed to aid the users? needs, where a separation of walkways and bike lanes forms zones of security for the purpose of better orientation and a better flow between the users..

Temat för arbetet är musikskapande och har som syfte att undersöka min individuella kreativitet och dess kännetecken. Men syftet består också i att avgöra användbarheten av detta. Det rör sig om en psykologisk självstudie med ett fenomenologiskt angreppssätt. Styrning inom en ideell organisation : Självstyrningens praktik inom Friskis&Svettis
This paper examines the non-profit organization Friskis&Svettis in order to gain insight into whether governmentality is used and if it is being used in what way. Furthermore we analyzed the requirements and consequences that that may have developed out of this governance structure. To get answers to the questions asked in this paper, a qualitative approach has been taken by the use of interviews with officials at Friskis&Svettis Uppsala. The conclusions drawn from the survey is that there are factors that indicate that governmentality is used within the organization by way of the use of guidelines which can be seen as a technique to control individuals and point them in the desired direction, and the follow-ups that can verify that the guidelines are being followed by the officials. The guidelines and the follow-up have also been an organizational requirement.

The purpose of this thesis is to examine the organizational buying behaviour in the purchase of travels abroad. We have conducted a case study of two companies, one medium sized and one larger. Our empirical studies have shown that the companies? buying process is divided into two types, the process of recruit a new travel supplier and the process of a straight rebuy of a regular travel service. In the recruiting process we found that the evaluation process of the purchase is an ongoing process that contradicts estab-lished theories.

Abstract
The main purpose of this study was to investigate if and how the employees in
elderly care experience stress and which underlying causes they understand to
be important in their work situation. The purpose was also to investigate
whether Karaseks and Theorells demands and control models could be used to
explain the employees feelings of stress and to see in which categories the
participants are in. Furthermore, the purpose was also to understand the
participants work situation and to describe the factors and remedies the
employees perceive to contribute to the stress levels at their workplace.
81 questionnaires were distributed at three different locations, two of which
were in Ronneby and one in Örebro. 56 people answered the questionnaires.
The result yielded that 80% of the participants felt stress during their
working hours the last few years.
The results are in agreement with the demands and control models which showed
that people with high demands and low control experienced a higher degree of
stress than people with lower demands and higher control, which corroborates
the hypothesis 1.1..
Annorlunda Syskonskap. Att växa upp med en syster eller bror som har ett funktionshinder.
Syftet med denna studie var att öka kunskapen om hur syskon påverkas av att
växa upp med ett funktionshindrat syskon. De flesta av oss kommer att möta
människor i skolan och arbetet som växer upp eller har vuxit upp med ett syskon
med ett funktionshinder. Denna studie genomfördes med hjälp av 52 öppna och
slutna frågor som studerade 16 syskons uppfattning angående ansvarstagande,
hjälpsamhet och uppfattningen av syskonskapet i relation till platsen i
syskonskaran. Studien visade att de som har en åldersskillnad på upp till 2,5
år förklarar för andra om syskonets funktionshinder i större utsträckning än
ensambarn. Resultat visade även att yngre systrar undviker konflikter med sina
föräldrar i större utsträckning än deras äldre systrar.

The aim of this study is to study how sustainability policies are implemented and perceived in the operations of a Swedish fashion company. The fashion industry is affected by strict controls when it comes to transparency and reporting of sustainability efforts. This contributes to a strong focus on sustainability. The theoretical framework revolved around institutional theory where the phenomenas of decoupling and recoupling were central. A qualitative case study was conducted where interviews were the primary source of data.

Purpose: The purpose of this thesis is to describe the change at Myndigheten and analyze its implementation to identify the employees' attitudes towards the change. The survey of attitudes is important to provide indicators of how they may affect the continued implementation of the process-oriented approach.Research methodology: This thesis is based on both quantitative and qualitative method. Surveys have been implemented on co-workers/employees and an interview has been implemented on a project participant.Theoretical framework: This thesis uses theories of organizations, organizational changes and attitudes.Conclusions: Both positive and negative attitudes are found for the employees and these attitudes are mainly weak. If Myndigheten makes interventions, it can help to minimize the negative consequences that the attitudes may lead to. By doing this the commitment for the change will increase, which is critical for the change to succeed..
Våld i parrelationer : en teoretisk analys
The purpose of this study was to do a narrative survey of the discussion about violence in partner relationships that is held in research literature. The question at issue was: How do research literature discuss violence in partner relationships, with focus on heterosexual relationships? The eight primary documents that have been chosen are written by researchers, professional therapists, National Counsil for Women's protection (Nationellt Råd för Kvinnofrid, NRK) and Swedish Government Official Report (Statens Offentliga Utredningar, SOU). To investigate the theories, discover the similarities and differences between them and how they can complement each other, the documents statements has been analyzed with a dialectic-hermeneutic approach and social constructionism and discourse theory.The research findings showed that the gender perspective theory, the psychodynamic theory and the social psychology theory have a few things in common, but that they on the whole are different and contradict each other. The gender perspective theory dominates the discussion but needs to be combined with the other theories to give a more all-embracing understanding.
Lindsberg : en kvalitativ undersökning av platsbunden entitetkontinuitet
This essay is an analysis of a three-day participant observation with sensitive people in a house with entity continuity. The purpose was to investigate the possible experiences participants had during their stay. The method used was modified based theory with Jungian application. The investigation showed that the core category was a peculiar atmosphere which the participants related to a different world than the physical. The place? atmosphere influenced the participants and led to transcendent experiences related to a spirit realm.
Affektmedvetenhet och stress : En sambandsstudie utifrån en integrerad stressmodell med affektsystemet som brygga mellan psyke och soma
A unified model of stress and affect consciousness was proposed. The connection between affect consciousness and perceived stress was studied. Teachers (n = 19) were interviewed using Monsens affect interview, followed one month later by a questionnaire containing Perceived Stress Scale (PSS), State-Trait Anxiety Inventory (STAI-S, STAI-T) and Twenty Item Toronto Alexithymia Scale (TAS-20).Statistical analysis showed no connections between level of total affect consciousness and perceived stress. Though there were some indications of a negative relationship between affect consciousness and trait anxiety. There were also indications, using a complementary analysis, of a connection between level of affect consciousness on the subscale distress in the interview and perceived stress.

The purpose of this thesis is to investigate the ways in which emotion
regulation and mood affects risk taking when it comes to decision making
competence. Emotion regulation is an essential part of the attachment process,
the development of an autonomous self and functional stress coping systems.
Research indicates that there is a relation between a distorted emotion
regulation and some psychological disorders like depression, PTSD, anxiety
disorders and borderline (or instable emotional personality disorder). There is
a definite need to analyze the relation between emotion regulation and decision
making competence since it is relatively unexplored. A digital questionnaire
was distributed amongst the participants.
