Motiverande samtal Inom Kriminalvården MIK : En kvalitativ studie om frivårdsinspektörers upplevelser av MIK

The purpose of this essay is to describe how probation service officers regard their professional role and their liberty of action within the motivational treatment program, MIK, and the probation Organization. To answer the purpose three questions were formulated: 1) Does the probation service Organization affect the individual discretion for the probation service officers, and in that case how? 2) Does the motivational treatment program, MIK, influence the probation officers? professionalism and their professional role? 3) What advantages and disadvantages do the probation service officers consider MIK being related to? The method conducted in the study was interviews with five probation service officers in Stockholm. The interviews were combined with a theoretical framework based on themes as Organization, professional role, professionalism and motivation. The result showed that probation officers consider themselves to have a relatively high discretion within their work.

Intern Marknadsföring - Kommunicera Mera, Kommunicera med Flera : Inom den Svenska Sjukvården

The aim with the study is to find key factors relating to internal marketing and to improve the process between the operating Organization and its customers. A qualitative study is carried out within an Organization active in the Swedish healthcare. The qualitative approach is carried out by collecting empirical data through observations, personal interviews and group interviews.The Physiotherapy Clinic at the Karolinska University Hospital is in the focus of the empirical study. The study locates existing differences in perceptions and comes up with recommendations for actions to improve the process of organisations within the Swedish healthcare and their customers. The study's results are that internal marketing can bring a lot to service-selling Organizations and that the Organizations internal conditions are as important as the external ones.Communication appears to be a key factor for an Organization that has applied internal marketing.

Förändringen som kom av sig: En fallstudie av kommunikationens roll i en förändringsprocess

This study takes place within a publicly owned art producing Organization and dwells on the problems of a change process that the Organization was involved in. Both leaders and staff were disappointed by the way the change process had developed. The management team explained the outcome by referring to the uniqueness of working with artists who constantly put their own personal objectives before the benefit of the whole. The aim of this study is to find a complementary explanation to the one the management team provided us with; an explanation that can help in the understanding of the dynamics of a change process. Can perhaps theories on information, communication and change processes give an alternative explanation to why the change process faltered? To investigate this, we have used a qualitative single case study.

This thesis investigates how the level of implementation of New Public Management affects an Organization?s efficiency. According to theory, a high level of implementation leads to a more efficient Organization. This thesis is based on two case studies conducted on two units within Stockholms Stad. One of the units shows a high level of implementation of NPM and a high level of efficiency.

This study investigates the corporate sustainability activity, linked to the company's core business, which is a relatively unexplored field in a Swedish context. The study examines how the Organization has used management control for its sustainability activity within two social initiatives; and whether these initiatives have generated value for the Organization and involved stakeholders. Management control of social initiatives are examined within the theoretical framework of The Sustainable Balanced Scorecard and the Organization's value creation contributions are outlined in accordance with a definition of the concept of Creating Shared Value. The method used for the implementation of the study is a qualitative study, embodied in an illustrative case study of a large Swedish company operating within financial sector. The empirical data was collected through 12 in-depth interviews with representative interviewees within the Organization and with other stakeholders involved in the company's social initiatives.

In this essay I examine how a municipal- and an independent upper secondary school compare to the ideal types the Company and the Political Organization and how that affects the school practise as it?s described in policy documents. The conclusions are that the municipal school on a number of variables correlate to the ideal type the Political Organization. At the same time the school reforms of the 1990s are considered as an intention to ?companylize? the municipal school and a number of tendencies how that have affected the municipal school are shown.

This paper deals with the subject internal communication. We received this assignment from Region Värmland, an Organization formed jointly by the 16 municipalities in the county of Värmland, to take responsibility for regional development, growth issues, culture and adult education in Värmland. The Organization consists of a number of geographically dispersed units with specialized working areas. In this type of Organization, there are high demands on internal communication as a tool to coordinate the Organization?s different units and integrate their work, in order to reach the common goals.

Ideella organisationer- En arena för diktatur

The purpose of this research was to examine the current field of management in non-profit Organizations, mainly focusing on managerial approaches, but also the impact of Organizational size on the shaping of governance. Non-profits are widely discussed in contemporary research, particularly due to the increasing external pressure on voluntary Organization to professionalize the way they work in line with standards in the private sector. Due to this our thesis aims to investigate whether professional, bureaucratic approaches are useful when governing a non-profit Organization, or if social structures are enough to ensure goal congruence and efficiency. To conduct this research qualitative interviews were carried out and a case- study was made, using the Swedish Karate Federation as object of study. Results show that formal and more professional structures are useable to achieve efficiency and prevent inertia within the Organization.

Placed in an institution, what happens next? A study concerning how social workers handle the after-care of adolescents who earlier has been placed in an institution is written by Therese Wester and Sanna Sjölander Wirlöf. The purpose of the study is to understand and explain how social workers handle the after-care. This study is based on an Organizational perspective since the after-care has been studied in relation to the structure of the Organization and the laws and guidelines that the Organization has to relate to. The method that has been used is semi-structured interviews with six social workers in different municipalities in Stockholm.

This arise general questions regarding the penalties that these offenders are sentenced to. It is known that the responsibility for these people lies on the forensic psychiatry, however, the media does not draw attention to what is happening in this Organization. The purpose of this study is to describe the forensic psychiatric Organization from a staff perspective and from a legal perspective.
