This study has been conducted in order to determine the existence of predictability for the Stockholm stock exchange. With this purpose the random walk theory has been raised against the theory of mean reversion in order to determine which theory is the most substantial. Data has been collected from Nasdaq OMX Nordic and furtherly been processed using the statistical software EViews. Swedish listed companies? daily share values between 2000-2014 have been analyzed using two tests; an Augmented Dickey Fuller test and a Variance Ratio test.

This paper is a qualitative analytic study of the views regarding masculinity of six male university students. The author means to view the gender issue from a male point of view and analyze the empiric result using well known theory on the subject. The main questions of the essay are: What, according to my respondents, is masculine and non masculine? Does the university influence this view, and if so how? How is it to be a man in the society of today? The paper is based around interviews of the six subjects, recorded and transcribed and analyzed in a systematic outline. From this outline relevant themes has been constructed and compared with the theory.

In order to reach the generation target and the environmental objectives it is important to increase the awareness of biodiversity and ecosystem services and it?s importance to human welfare and simultaneously highlighting the value of ecosystem services. The value of ecosystem services should be integrated into economic standpoints, political considerations and other decisions in the society. In today?s society there is a problem concerning that the value of ecosystem services are not considered in economic terms, which can result in solutions that are unfavorable for our welfare (Ministry of Environment, 2012).

The purpose of this essay is to examine how theory and practice intertwines through theactivism of the feminist punk performance collective Pussy Riot. I have also focussed on the political tools with which the activism is performed. Within the academic context of gender studies, I believe there is a need for research that aims to reduce the gap between scholarly and activist feminism. The theoretical framework for the analysis in this essay consists of material feminist theory and postmodern theory. The empirical material is a diversified assemblage of images, court excerpts, newspaper columns, interviews, lyrics and videos.

To study this change two hypotheses have been constructed. The first hypothesis concerns the change within Sverigedemokraterna and the second hypothesis concerns the change of the Swedish voters attitudes.Kirchheimers catch-all theory is used to explain the change in Sverigedemokraterna. The catch-all theory states that parties have to change their structure to maximise the number of votes.

Syftet med denna studie har varit att undersöka hur företag samlar in och utnyttjar kundinformation mellan försäljningskanalerna. Men även att utreda motiven bakom att bli en multikanalåterförsäljare samt produkttypens roll i beslutet. En kvalitativ fallstudie med semistrukturerade intervjuer har tillämpats, där fyra företag och en expert deltagit. Studien har visat att information om kunden har varit värdefull och har använts emellan handelskanaler för att anpassa butikens sortimentsmix, skapa välgrundade kampanjer och styra kunder till butik. De mindre företagen, sett till omsättning, har haft mer användning av kundinformation vid beslutet att öppna fysiska butiker än de större.

Med en förståelse för att fysiska, ekonomiska, biologiska, organisatoriska, sociala, kulturella och estetiska värden måste utvecklas parallellt för ett hållbart samhälle valde jag ändå att endast lyfta de sociala och kulturella aspekterna i mitt examensarbete för att skapa en bättre förståelse för dessa frågor i planeringsprocessen. Begravningsplatsen är ett forum för mångkulturalitet i Sverige och en viktig del av vår fysiska miljö oavsett trostillhörighet. Syftet med mitt arbete var att undersöka hur framtida begravningsplatser skulle kunna se ut med tanke på att allt fler kulturer och religioner påverkar samhällsutvecklingen. Målet var att mitt examensarbete skulle ge en skildring av dagens begravningskultur men också fungera som ett planeringsverktyg vid utformning av framtidens mångkulturella begravningsplatser med syftet att verka integrerande för samhället. Arbetet skulle också verka som ett bidrag i debatten kring integration.

The purpose of this study is to explain the potential advantages and disadvantages for organizations in vulnerable industries with a focus on insurance companies who works with Facebook. The paper takes its starting point in the convergence culture that explains a cultural shift where consumers are encouraged to search for new information and combine content from different media.

Uppsatsens syfte är att beskriva budgetanvändningen hos företag och utifrån ett antal situationsfaktorer analysera denna användning med contingency theory som berör ekonomistyrning. Metoden som ligger till grund för denna uppsats är både av kvantitativ och kvalitativ karaktär. Det kvantitativa återfinns i form av en surveyundersökning och det kvalitativa i form av fyra fallstudier. Uppsatsens angreppssätt är vidare abduktiv. Detta har sin grund i att uppsatsen undersöker en händelse, budgetanvändningen hos företag, och analyserar denna mot befintlig teori, vilket för uppsatsen är contingency theory.

The aim with this essay has been to see how students use drinking-songs and what function they have. I have also wanted to see how the traditions are carried on between the students. In order to do this, I have been observing three parties organised by three different student associations at Växjö University: Västkustens nation, Föreningarnas Festeri and Isterbandet. I have interviewed five people that have been attending the dinners. I have used Alan Merriam?s theory of use/function and made interpretations of his theory.

Det primära syftet med uppsatsen är att studera relationerna mellan de nya och de etablerade börsmarknaderna i EU för att se om det ha skett någon förändring under perioden 1996-2005. Ett sekundärt syfte är att undersöka huruvida den finansiella integrationen inom unionen har blivit starkare under den studerade tidsperioden. I syfte att kunna besvara de frågor som vi är intresserade av använder vi oss av VAR-metoden. Med hjälp av "impulse response" beräknade vi hur snabbt en händelse sprider sig mellan de undersökta börsmarknaderna samt hur lång tid det tar innan dessa åter är i jämvikt. "Variance decomposition" talar om för oss i vilken utsträckning de olika börsmarknaderna påverkar varandra.

Det är många människor med utländsk bakgrund som står utanför den svenska arbetsmarknaden. Ett sätt att integreras i det svenska samhället är att göra praktik. Det finns många olika aktörer som arbetar med att hjälpa människor att finna praktikplatser. Arbetsgivare har en betydelsefull roll för att underlätta invandrade individers integration på arbetsmarknaden, bl.a. genom att ta emot praktikanter. Syftet med vårt arbete är att synliggöra och beskriva vilka tankar och funderingar som finns hos företagare gällande praktik i arbetslivet för praktikanter med utländsk bakgrund och språksvårigheter.

Scientists argue that gender affects foreign policy and security policy, that ideas of gender are inconstant and that there is a lack of feminist perspectives in International Relations. The changes seen in the global security context may have challenged the way politicians and scientists understand war and its impacts, and led to increased gender awareness.Using securitization theory and feminist international relations theory, the aim is to examine how women and men are being spoken of in the Swedish foreign policy discourse regarding participation in the UN-led stabilization mission Minusma in Mali. By applying a feminist perspective on the securitization process, the intention is to increase the knowledge of whether there is gender awareness in this context.The result shows that there is limited gender awareness. There is minor consideration for the conflict?s different implications on the situation for women and men.
