Många organisationer arbetar idag på en internationell marknad och måste på så sätt också anpassa sig till det nya samhällsklimatet. Att se och arbeta över gränser, arbeta utifrån att kompetens och nya affärsmöjligheter inte har någon etnisk tillhörighet. Alla är vi lika oavsett ursprung. Det handlar om kunskap, att få individen att lära och i längden skapa en gemensam syn.Syftet med denna studie är att analysera en organisations planerade och påbörjade mångfaldsarbete samt att diskutera möjliga ytterligare åtgärder.Studien är av kvalitativ karaktär med kvalitativa, semi - strukturerade intervjuer som datainsamlings metod.Resultatet av studien visade att organisationens företagskultur och värderingar var väl implementerade men att kommunikationen behöver bli tydligare om den lyckade förändring som organisationen vill ska kunna förverkligas..

The strategy when you change the visual part of the brand identity is often referred to as Corporate rebranding and is seen as a good way to show that a company has undergone a change. Despite high risks and high costs, this strategy has become more common and there are companies today who make the choice to change an already well-known graphic profile. This phenomenon is what underlies this essay?s problem statement: Why does a company with an already well-known graphic profile choose to change it and how does the process behind the change occur? In what way have the company?s customers recognized the change and how has the company?s image changed in this context? The purpose of this essay is therefore to explore the process that occurs when a company in the sport and fashion industry changes its visual identity and to explore how the company?s customers have perceived the change.To fulfil the purpose of the essay a case study was carried out on a company?s Corporate rebranding process. The company that was chosen was the Swedish sports retail chain Stadium Sweden AB who decided to change its graphic profile even though their logo was one of the two most recognized in their field.

Ett etiskt förhållningssätt anses ofta vara nödvändigt för att företag ska slippa hamna i skandalernas rampljus, samtidigt som moraliska värden också kan vara en konkurrensfördel. I denna undersökning ligger fokus på hur ledarna i en värdestyrd organisation tagit till sig och använder sin organisations värderingar. Resultatet från sex intervjuer visade på en spännvidd av uppfattningar om huruvida organisationen av idag var värderingsstyrd. Många intervjupersoner tog upp organisationens grundläggande idé, och de flesta gjorde detsamma med organisationens värderingsdokument. Värderingarnas spridning i organisationen uppfattades i flera fall som begränsad.

En kyrklig organisations informationssäkerhet : Policyimplementation och motivation till efterlevnad av policy

The following study is dedicated to investigate what kind of problems an organisation might stumble upon in the process of implementing a policy related to information security. Alongside investigating the eventual problems occurring in the implementation process of an organisation, the study also sets out to analyse how an organisation can motivate staff in order to follow the guidelines of a policy. The collection of empirical data was done using interviews. In order to seek answers to our research questions a theoretical background is presented that illustrate the need for information security after which motivational theories are applied to our collected data.To summarise the results of the study we find a gap of knowledge between the employees of the organisation. The organisational level of an employee together with the degree of participation in working with a policy seems connected to both the employee?s knowledge of a policy as well as how well the employee are motivated to learn about and follow the guidelines provided from a policy..

This essay studies how and why large sports clubs from sports with a different degree of commerciality interact with their institutional surroundings in the way that they do. It compares two large Stockholm-based table tennis clubs, Ängby SK and Spårvägens BTK, with a large Stockholm-based football club, AIK Fotboll. In order to get proper data, a number of key persons within the organisations were exploratively interviewed using open and semi-structured questions, together with study of literature and other sources related to the subject. One of the key findings was that the non-profit table tennis clubs, who were expected to resemble the institution association closely, were subject to company-ization, and thus acted a lot more like the institution company than expected. The other key finding was that the football club, although driven partially like a public limited company, in many aspects placed a greater value on cultural capital than on economic capital..

People can interact through the Intranet and communicate within the organization and get relevant information according to their workplace. AbstractThe purpose of this essay was to study the parental education for adoptive parents. It´s provided by law since 1/1-2005 that parents have to participate in this education-program before they adopt. We wanted to look at what caused the change and made the education compulsory and to find out where the initiative came from, what purpose the education is supposed to fulfil, if it can facilitate for adopted children during their growth and whether the parental education can support the idea of what is best for a certain child always has to come first, according to the UN convention on the Rights of the child and the Haag-convention.The study was based on eight qualitative interviews, four with social workers, three with representatives of adoption-organisations and one with a representative of the public authority of international adoption (MIA). The conclusions of our study are that there is a risk that the education can not fulfil its purpose to prepare parents for their task, that it looses the idea of what´s best for the child and focuses on the parent instead. It seems to be more of a try out to not violate conventions signed and thereby fulfil a symbolic purpose..

This study was conducted by using a qualitative textual analysis on UNICEF Sweden?s website with the purpose of problematizing the role of UNICEF Sweden in today?s globalised society. This was done in the context of how organisations of civil society have gained influence. Following questions were answered: How does UNICEF Sweden legitimise its operation? Which strategies does UNICEF Sweden use to encourage involvement and donations?The study shows how UNICEF Sweden legitimises its work by promoting a unique influence, their unique methods of work and by showing how the organisation helps the most disadvantaged children.

Arbetsmarknaden och således anställningsrelationen har under de senaste åren genomgått en kraftig förändring. Ett resultat till följd av detta är ett ökat intresse för det psykologiska kontraktet som visat sig ha en avgörande betydelse för organisationens funktion och dess individer. Syftet med denna studie var därför att, med utgångspunkt från teorin om det psykologiska kontraktet, utreda hur en svensk organisations chefer definierar ömsesidiga förväntningar inom anställningsrelationen samt hur de arbetar med att kommunicera dessa förväntningar. Datainsamlingen utfördes genom djupintervjuer med sex chefer inom säljbranschen och materialet har bearbetats genom en tematisk analys. Resultatet visade på förväntningars gestaltande i form av hårda och mjuka förväntningar.

The use of ERP in organisations is very popular and many companies have embraced this paradigm without really questioning why. Problems therefore often arise and cause high costs which is a result of poor planning. The paradigm also has its origin in the traditional architectural design that creates a system that has difficulties to adapt to organizations that are constantly evolving. The purpose of this study is to provide a different view of how IT-systems can operate within an organization and show how standard systems can be structured. We emanated from a case study at Linköping University Library, where we studied the implementation and integration of a standard system called Symphony.
