Det råder generell brist på normerade test som bedömer dessa funktioner och därför har Nordiskt Orofacialt Test ? Screening (NOT-S) utvecklats. Syftet med föreliggande studie var att normera NOT-S för barn med typisk utveckling i åldrarna 3:0-6:0 år. Testet består av en strukturerad intervjudel och en undersökningsdel med sex avsnitt vardera.

This thesis examines the reasons behind the Swedish migration policy reform which led to a replacement of the Aliens Appeal Board by the Migration Court. The aim of this study was to examine sexual behavior, contraceptive use, self-rated health, lifestyle factors and the prevalence of HPV vaccination among last year high school students. The study was a quantitative cross-sectional study which was a substudy of the longitudinal study " Pornography, Youth and Health". Results showed that the majority of students had had sexual intercourse (75 %, n=524) and both performed (67 %, n=479) and received oralsex (70 %, n=498). Forty percent (n=282) of the students had had one night stand, a quarter (n=159) anal sex and 29 (n=202) percent sex with a friend. The contraceptive use increased from the first to the last intercourse while the use of condoms decreased.

Åkommorna påverkar hela människan inte bara den fysiska kroppen. Få studier har fokuserat på människors upplevelse av att leva med avföringsproblem. Syfte: Syftet med litteraturstudien var att beskriva hur människor med avföringsproblem upplever sin livssituation.

Syftet med studien var att undersöka patientupplevelsen vid behandling med sömnapnéskena hos patienter med diagnosen obstruktiv sömnapné utförda i allmän tandvårdspraxis. Studien genomfördes som en tvärsnittsundersökning i en av de större regionerna i Sverige, region Skåne. Undersökningen var retrospektiv i sin design och bestod av en enkät sänd till de patienter med en verifierad obstruktiv sömnapné som fått sin odontologiska behandling som ett led i sjukdomsbehandling. Behandlingen skulle ha pågått minst 6 månader. Enkäten skickades ut till 1148 patienter, varav 738 svarade (64 %).

The object of this thesis is to direct attention onto female inmates who is a disregarded user group within the discipline of library and information sciences. This study has been performed on location at the Hinseberg correctional institution where nine female criminal offenders constitute the empirical foundation of our inquiry. The question proposed for solution is as follows: Is there a correlation between socio-cultural prerequisites and the reading habits of the female inmates - and if so how can it be described? Among the conclusions that we have drawn from our study is that the socio-cultural environment has an influence on the well-being of the inmates which in its turn has an impact on their reading. However, the effects on their mental state vary and consequently so does also their reading.

This paper is based on a quantitative survey. The study aims to answer the questionwhich media young people rather use to take part of the news. The results showthat young people today in Kalmar preferably and often read newspapers on theInternet and mobile phone.The questions asked was about which media they usually use, the level ofconfidence they had in various media, how interest was in different newscategories, willingness to pay for online news and background issues relatedsubjects. The survey was aimed at high school students in Kalmar and weredistributed and collected on-site at the schools. Syfte: Att undersöka vårdspersonalens kunskaper om munhälsa, samt hur vårdpersonal prioriterar munvården av äldre personer som är beroende av hjälpinsatser. Metod: Studien genomfördes som en litteraturstudie och bygger på 5 kvalitativa och 5 kvantitativa studier. Dessa granskades och bearbetades för att slutligen analyseras till kategorier och subteman.

Focus is on quality and to be able to access the core, semi-structured interviews with the management, information office, officers and soldiers were accomplished.

This thesis deals with the leisure-time reading of fourteen men with two different occupations, teachers of technology and directors of companies. The main reasons for writing the thesis are that very little is written about mens reading habits and also statistics that tell that mens reading decline regardless of educational level. The purpose has been to compare the reading and relations to literature between the two groups of men and to find out if any differences have to do with factors such as social background or age. The questions we have asked our collected data has been what, how and why the men read. We have tried not to investigate the work-related reading although we are aware of the difficulty in separating this from the leisure-time reading.
