Syfte och frågeställningarSyftet med studien var att undersöka om en kortare period av motiverande samtal (MI) kunde påverka livskvaliteten positivt hos en arbetande population. De tre frågeställningarna var: Kan en kort period av MI förändra livskvaliteten positivt? Vilka eventuella effekter har en kortare period av MI på livskvaliteten? Finns det några skillnader i eventuell förändring av livskvalitet mellan kön, ålder samt utbildningsnivå?MetodStudien bestod av två MI-samtal med tre veckors mellanrum, samt en enkätundersökning som genomfördes före och efter samtalsperioden. Ett företag kontaktades och deltagarna rekryterades genom information på företagets intranät. 25 anmälda bildade MI-gruppen och därefter efterfrågades kontrollgruppsdeltagare via mail, 23 anställda bildade kontrollgruppen.

SammanfattningSyftet med examensarbetet var att utföra ett designförslag på en trädgård för personer meddemenssjukdom. Genom litteraturstudier och enkätundersökning har jag fått kunskap om huren trädgård för personer med demenssjukdom bör se ut och vad den bör innehålla. När manutformar en trädgård för personer med demenssjukdom är inte syftet att rehabilitera, utan attge dem god livskvalitet. Detta kan man göra genom att skapa en trädgård med växter ochmaterial som stimulerar sinnet. Via enkätundersökningen har jag fått möjlighet att ta del avsådant som vårdpersonal tycker är viktigt i en trädgård för personer med demenssjukdom ochvad de tror att de boende skulle vilja göra i en trädgård.

Syftet med denna selektiva kunskapsöversikt var att belysa de faktorer som kan bidra till att äldre människor känner autonomi och möjlighet att själva påverka sina liv trots att de är i beroendeställning till andra för att klara sin allmänna dagliga levnad. Utifrån den valda forskningslitteraturen fokuserade vi oss på tre teman; formella och informella omsorgsgivares betydelse för autonomi, valmöjlighet/delaktighet samt livskvalitet. Kunskapsöversikten tolkades sedan hermenutiskt. Resultatet påvisade att både informella och  formella omsorgsgivare har en stor betydelse för äldres upplevelse av autonomi, där integritet och självbestämmande var ledorden. Äldre människor upplever inte delaktighet i omsorgssituationer eller handläggningsprocessen.

I föreliggande studie utforskades möjliga effekter av en individuell korttidsbehandling med Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) på individer med migrän. Två personer med mångårig migrändiagnos behandlades under 4 sessioner. Designen var av fallstudie-typ med förmätning, eftermätning och uppföljning. Behandlingen utvärderades med livskvalitetsformuläret QOLI, dagboksskattningar och intervju.Efter behandlingen har skattningar av migrän minskat hos en av deltagarna och ökat hos den andra. Skattningar av livskvalitet har vid uppföljningen ökat för båda deltagarna.
