Bakgrund: Postoperativt illamående och kräkningar (PONV, Post Operative Nausea and Vomiting) är ett vanligt problem efter anestesi. Även om många riktlinjer och riskbedömningsverktyg har utvecklats för PONV, så är implementeringen ofta svår. Attityder och kunskap kring ämnet har visat sig påverka implementeringen av riktlinjer.Syfte: Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka anestesipersonals kunskap och attityder kring PONV och kliniska riktlinjer för att förebygga PONV.Metod: Studien är utformad som en kvantitativ, deskriptiv enkätstudie. En totalundersökning genomfördes på en anestesiklinik på ett större sjukhus i Mellansverige. Enkäten innehöll frågor angående anestesipersonals attityder och kunskaper kring riktlinjer och PONV.Resultat: Anestesipersonalens kunskap om PONV var god och stämde överens med skattningen av de egna kunskaperna.

Utgångspunkten för denna litteraturstudie är att ventilatorassocierad pneumoni (VAP) går att förebygga. Syftet med detta arbete var att kartlägga olika evidensbaserade munvårdsmetoder som används av intensivvårdssjuksköterskor för att förebygga VAP hos ventilatorbehandlade patienter. Syftet var också att belysa vilka faktorer som påverkar intensivvårdssjuksköterskans utförande av evidensbaserad munvård till ventilatorbehandlade patienter. Studien utfördes som en systematisk litteraturstudie. Till resultatet användes 16 vetenskapliga artiklar.

AbstractThe aim of this study is to analyze how the Swedish company VisitSweden and The Swedish institute creates an image of Sweden and what that image looks like? And also to compare their goals and their ways of present Sweden to find out how that contributes to the images of Sweden. The method for this analyze is chosen from the work and theories of Norman Fairclough called ?critical discourse analyze.? The analysis focuses on the text and how the text is created and if the author?s opinions are hidden in the words. The method can be applied in many ways.

Hunting ground graves were distinguished as a separate category during the 1930s.         There is however no clear definition of what a hunting ground grave is. They have been constructed over a large area over a long period of time (200 BC-1200 AD) and their morphology varies.This paper investigates how the archaeologists have discussed the hunting ground graves since they were distinguished as a separate category until today. It investigates what concepts that have been used to define and categorize the graves as a group. It also investigates if the choices of concepts are depending on a broader societal perspective.To find the answers to these questions two surveys have been done.

Literature and music as an expression of art have some parts in common, others can quite differ. Both are using a language, and both can exist in written representations. You can find such written or printed items in library catalogues. The aim of this two years master's thesis is to examine how cataloguing of printed fiction-literature and printed music looks like, what differences you can find in cataloguing of printed literature and printed music.This study is based on a comparative methodology and two different theories are used. The first describes the common tasks for library catalogues as they are known traditionally and recently (as FRBR-conceptual model), the other is a comparison of the two art-species literature (fiction) and music.This paper's first part is a comparison of how printed literature and printed music are catalogued in the Swedish national catalogue LIBRIS.

Syftet med litteraturstudien är att beskriva hästens stereotypier samt diskutera vad dessa beror på och hur de kan förebyggas. Stereotypier är upprepade och oförändrade rörelser utan mål och syfte. Om hästar uppvisar stereotypier kan det vara tecken på att de saknar kontroll över sin situation. Det är enbart djur i fångenskap som uppvisar stereotypier. Hästar uppvisar flera olika stereotypier såsom krubbitning, vävning, boxvandring, huvudkast och stereotypt sparkande i vägg.

Today's planning strategy, densification of cities, makes it difficult for municipal authorities to find spaces to build preschools and daycare centers on. The Planning and Building Act , Chapter 8, § 9 states that " if the site should be developed with buildings that contain one or more dwellings or premises for after-school , preschool, school or other activities, it should be on the property or near it, enough free space which is suitable for play and being outdoors. " Each municipality has to define the expression enough free space and a number of municipalities have established guidelines for preschool and daycare centers concerning dimensions. The guidelines measure the number of square meters of free space per child with the aim of contributing to a qualitative environment. But the size is just one quality and the issue is how other non-quantifiable qualities are taken into account in the planning process. The paper compares three municipalities, Gothenburg, Malmö and Lund.

Concept - detail - buildingStockholm International Fairs, new main entrance I studied at the KTH School of Architecture from 1995 to 2000. After completing my studies I wanted to work in an office that had a structural way of thinking and that knew the building process; I therefore chose to work for Rosenberg Architects. I have worked on a number of projects, among them several for the Stockholm International Fairs, from the Rica Talk Hotel and Hall AE, to the new main entrance.In the projects we undertook at the School of Architecture we had to identify and draw details that were central to our concepts. I have here identified some key details that we considered to be essential for the concept in a built project; the new main entrance of the Stockholm International Fairs completed in 2013. The entrance has complex logistics with multiple intersecting flows: exhibitors, employees, journalists, VIPs and others.

Introduktion: På grund av extremt hög fattigdom har de orala hälsofrågorna haft låg prioritet i Tanzania. Vid en konferens 2004 i Nairobi om den orala hälsan i Afrika ställde sig Tanzania, tillsammans med andra Afrikanska länder, bakom det gemensamma beslutet att hållbara nationella program måste utvecklas för att främja oral hälsa. Detta beslut har varit en drivkraft till att delta i och utveckla nedanstående projekt avseende munhälsofrämjande insatser. Endast ett fåtal studier finns redovisade vad gäller prevalensen av karies, gingivit och dental fluoros bland barn i Tanzania.Syfte: Syftet var att kartlägga antal tänder samt förekomst av karies, gingivit, dental fluoros samt munhygienvanor bland barn i Nkinga English Medium School och Nkinga Public School i Nkinga, Tanzania.Metod: Studien är en epidemiologisk tvärsnittstudie och bestod av klinisk undersökning av 244 skolbarn på 2 olika skolor. Undersökningen avslutades med tre muntliga frågor om munhygienvanor.

Syftet med detta arbete är att öka insikten i hur fördelningen mellan hantverk och uttryck ser ut på trumsetslektioner inom genrerna rock/pop/jazz och hur olika lärare arbetar kring/med begreppen personligt uttryck och hantverk. Jag har intervjuat fyra pedagoger ? tre från musikskolan och en från gymnasiet ? och använt mig av kvalitativ intervju som metod. Följande forskningsfrågor ligger som grund för arbetet: Finns det en tydlig uppdelning mellan moment som fokuserar på hantverk och personligt uttryck under trumsetslektioner på gymnasieskolan och kulturskolan - och i så fall, hur ser fördelningen mellan dessa inslag ut? Hur hanterar trumsetslärare dessa två begrepp i sin undervisning? Resultatet visar att samtliga informanter inkluderar moment som kretsar kring både hantverk och personligt uttryck i trumsetsundervisningen.

The aim of the study was to examine which approach future social workers have regarding specific competence in the meeting with lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer clients. Previous research shows that LGBTQ people have a low confidence towards social services, police and courts and say they face discrimination and degrading treatment to a greater extent than the heterosexual population. Research shows that education and better skills of LGBTQ culture among professionals can change the situation.The essay is based on a model of cultural competence in working with sexual minorities and people with a transgender expression. The model defines the meaning of an LGBTQ perspective and is designed to improve social work with LGBTQ clients.The study is quantitative and empirical data consists of 203 survey responses from students with a long experience of the social work education. The analysis of the results is based on the cultural competence three principles; attitudes, knowledge and skills.

Texas has executed the most inmates of any state in the U.S. This prompted questions about the psychological characteristics of death row inmates. The purpose of this essay is to widen the perspective on inmates serving capital sentences by analyzing their final statements. The focus of this essay was centered on acute anxiety of death among inmates, visible in their final statements, as a result of an accelerated process of dying.

This paper concerns the freedom of speech in our democracy and the principles underlying the restrictions. The study is aimed at using a descriptive theory to provide a useful basis for analyzing a justification of the role behind freedom of speech and its limitations. The analysis is made on the basis of the Swedish parliament debate in the form of motions and the non-governmental organization Swedish Helsinki Committee's report. The study has a focus on the law of hate speech and will be done with an idea centred analysis. On the basis of democratic theory, the central role of freedom of speech was clarified on the basis of a clear need for a reliable communication.
