Sömnen är livsviktig för alla människor eftersom det är den tid då kroppen återhämtar sig och behovet av sömn blir därför speciellt viktigt vid sjukdom. Forskning har visat att sjukhusmiljön inte alltid är Optimal för att främja sömn, något som vi själva också upplevt under kliniska studier. Syftet med studien var att klargöra vilken betydelse sömn har och hur sömnen kan förstås i relation till hälsa och välbefinnande för patienten i sjukhusmiljön. Studien är en begreppsanalys där sömn har sökts och analyserats i lexikon, vetenskapliga artiklar och facklitteratur. Resultatet visar att sömnen är den tid då kroppen samlar kraft och immunförsvaret byggs upp.

The study visits, both on location in Brittany,France, but also in other places, as for instance Högestad,has provided the background information that formedthe basis of our analysis and the proposal that is derived thereof. Some suggestions, which we consider importantto the overall impression of the property, is provided amore focused and detailed solution, while other parts,which are important but can either benefit from havingdynamics in the design process or will be adapted toadjacent sites, are developed using a more generalapproach. In some cases several possible developmentprinciples are presented.The proposal presents a detailed plan for themanagement of the forest from the experience, wildlifeand forestry economic standpoint.

Individual adaption to the student´s needs is a recurring main theme in the new Swedish curriculum (Lgr11). The purpose of this qualitative study is to examine how teachers work with individual adjustment for students with reading and writing difficulties. The study was based on five questions;In what way do teachers organize their teaching in the classroom individually for students with reading and writing difficulties?What methods do they use for student´s with reading and writing difficulties?What difficulties do they encounter in their teaching?How do the teachers reason to curriculum goals regarding individual adaptions?How do they think about their own knowledge regarding reading- and writing difficulties and dyslexia?The method for my study was qualitative interviews. Five teachers were interviewed in semi-structured interviews.

Objective ? To study the requirement of nursing care of the equine patient during eye treatment with a lavage system together with a constant rate infusion pump. Procedures ? Three veterinary nurses at ATG: s Hästsjukhus in Skara were asked nine questions at individual interviews. Inclusion criteria for participation in the interview were that the nurse should have treated equines with and without the infusion pump to the lavage system, but also traditionally with eye drops. Results ? The equine had a higher well-being since it experienced less stress during eye treatment with the infusion pump compared to treatment given by hand through the lavage system. The treatment would be more effective with constant rate infusion and save costs for the owner.

This study in Environmental Science examines the amendment of the EU-Directive on. Greenhouse gas emission allowance trading. The Directive is to be considered as a tool for fulfilling the obligations that the Union and its member countries have taken on through the 1997 Kyoto agreement together with the protocols proposed at that time. The flexible mechanisms of the protocol are intended as instruments for limiting the climatic changes arising from anthropogenic sources, emission allowance trading being one of these mechanisms. The results presented here consist primarily of an analysis of interviews with various experts in the field of emission control concerning the possibilities and problems attending the process of implementation.

Många aktiebolag i Sverige idag är så kallade fåmansföretag, det vill säga företag med en eller ett fåtal ägare. I fåmansföretag har ägaren och företaget ofta samma ekonomiska intressen trots att de ska ses som skilda skatteobjekt. Detta innebär att ägaren i vissa fall kan anses genomföra transaktioner med sig själv. För att förhindra att ägare till fåmansföretag tillskansade sig otillbörliga fördelar infördes speciella skatteregler för dessa företag. Dessa regler har förändrats vid flera tillfällen och den senaste förändringen trädde i kraft under 2006.

This is a qualitative study which purpose is to examine how the social workers in a medium-sized municipality in southern of Sweden are experiencing the different forms of housing that the municipality has for disposal. The purpose is also to examine opinions - belonging to the social workers? representatives - concerning the value of motivational work in changing the lifestyles of assaulted and addicted women. The questions we have decided to examine are; how is the social services' work with assaulted and addicted women designed, how do the social workers experiences the situation on these forms of housing and what the social workers believe is promoting and inhibiting factors for motivation with assaulted and addicted women. The results in this study are built on qualitative semi-structured interviews with social workers where both sexes are represented.

Inledning: Mammografiscreening är den metod som används vid undersökning av kvinnor för att upptäcka bröstcancer i ett tidigt stadium. Detta möjliggör tidig behandling och minskar mortaliteten hos kvinnor. Trots detta avstår en del kvinnor att delta då de upplever mammografiundersökningen och komprimeringen som obehaglig och smärtsam. Syfte: Syftet med studien var att beskriva röntgensjuksköterskans roll under en mammografiundersökning vad gäller kompression, bildkvalité samt nöjd och trygg patient. Metod: Studien har utförts som en integrativ litteraturöversikt och utifrån syftet formulerades frågeställningar.

Efter ett kirurgiskt ingrepp uppkommer alltid smärta, som ett svar på vävnadsskada, som ökar risken för postoperativa komplikationer. Därav har det blivit patientens rätt att få postoperativ smärtlindring. På de flesta sjukhus används huvudsakligen analgetika som postoperativ smärtlindring. Det förekommer inadekvat postoperativ smärtlindring vilket kräver nya strategier och förbättringar inom postoperativ smärthantering. Musik har visat sig kunna minska oro, sänka hjärtfrekvens och blodtryck samt bidra till ett ökat välbefinnande.

The aim of this study was to see if there is any group of cats that are at greater risk to get sick and/or be euthanized during their stay at a cat shelter with no-kill policy. The study was conducted at Åkeshov cat rescue center in Sweden and cats that entered the center between the 1th of June 2010 and the 31th of December 2011 was used in the study. This study focused on factors regarding gender, origin, level of socialization, incubation period and the proportion of euthanized cats. In this study, the kind of illness weren?t taken into account. This study showed that the gender of the cat didn´t affect the risk for illness.

How do young adult students communicate through their smartphones today? Which applications and features do they choose? What motivates their choices for the various possible situations? In this paper we investigate which communication channels young adult students in Sweden use for private message communication in their smartphones, in what way they use the channels and why they choose specific channels for different types of communication. In Sweden today, there are numerous of different ways of communicate through smartphones. We have interviewed ten Swedish young adult students regarding their use. The results speaks for that SMS has proven to still be used very frequently, even though it has existed for many years and that there are plenty of other ways to communicate through private messages today.

Osteoporos är ett ökande hälsoproblem runt om i världen, vilket bör förebyggas, där en av tre kvinnor och en av tolv män över 50 år drabbas. I Sverige drabbas varje år cirka 70 000 personer av osteoporosrelaterad fraktur. Syftet med denna litteraturstudie var att genom en integrerad kunskapsöversikt beskriva den omvårdnad som riktar sig till patienter med osteoporos. Litteratursökningen skedde i två databaser med fokus att besvara frågeställningar om vilka omvårdnadsinterventioner som finns beskrivna, vilka kunskaper har sjuksköterskor och patienter om osteoporos samt vilken betydelse har kunskap om osteoporos i relation till människors sätt att engagera sig i sin hälsa. Litteratursökningen resulterade i 27 studier som analyserades med stöd av en matrismetod för systematiska kunskapsöversikter.

The investigation is a pre-study which has the primary goal to evaluate technical and financial offers from companies that manufacture primary air preheater, and investigate if it is technically and financially profitable to do a purchase on primary air preheaters in the future.In the pre-study it is proposed that it is most efficient to have individual primary air preheater, one for each incineration boiler and the primary air are also proposed to be preheated by hot water in the pre-study. Further in the pre-study it is proposed that the heat-exchanger should have plain tubes instead of finned tubes, to avoid getting dirty fast. The space in the boiler-room is limited, and therefore the major problem was to fit in the primary air preheaters into the boiler-room. By comparing the different offers from the companies, the result in the pre-study shows that the offer from the company C.A.
