In this essay I have studied how the kid?s school start are described in picture books. The studied questions are: How the school is described in these selected picture books; what feeling does the main character have into the school start; how the teachers are described in this selected picture books and how are the power relationship described in these selected picture books?The method I have chosen for this essay is a discourse analysis of seven selected picture books with the meaning of starting school. All books studied are written during the 1990 and forward.

In the fall 2011 a new grading scale will be implemented in the Swedish school. A government bill suggests a change of the scale from a three- to a six-point scale. The students will also be graded from the sixth class instead of today?s eighth. From the first year of the compulsory school the pupil will get a written judgment.

Arbetets syfte är att klargöra skillnader i förvaltningen mellan Singapore och Stockholm med fokus på de mjuka värdena. Resultat har tagits fram på plats i Singapore och i Stockholm, där intervjuer med expertis inom området och besök av elva gallerior gjordes.En skillnad mellan dessa områden är att det finns fler gallerior i Singapore än i Stockholm, vilket leder till en ökad konkurrens.

The aim of this Master?s thesis is to examine how the introducing of municipal library plans has influenced some compulsory schools in Malmö. I wanted to know if the library plan is a possible way to improve the quality of the school library. Through qualitative interviews with four school librarians and four headmasters, I investigate their knowledge of the library plan and their opinion of the possibilities to realize the directions of the plan. The theoretical framework is based on a model of organizational culture by Bakka, Fivelsdal and Lindkvist.

Men tiderna förändras och detta levnadssätt sägs ha gått till historien, eller? Feminister världen över debatterar även om att kvinnans roll som objekt ses tydligt i modemagasin, trots den starka frigörelsen och hennes förändrade status i samhället.I denna uppsats ger jag er en bild av svenska tidningen Cosmopolitans kvinnliga kosmopolit och hur hon framställs. Det som gör det extra intressant är namnet Cosmopolitan och dess koppling till kosmopolitism. Med hjälp av en semiotisk analys har jag funnit tecken som ger mig svar på hur kvinnan framställs och vilken av kosmopolitismens definitioner hon passar mest in på.

Den här uppsatsen är en studie om hur politiker ser på bloggen som ett politiskt verktyg. I dagens samhälle har tekniken öppnat upp för nya kommunikationskanaler och internet har blivit en plattform för interaktion. Bloggen har skapat nya möjligheter för politikern att sprida budskap till medborgarna och medierna eftersom den ger politikern kontroll över det egna ordet. Syftet är att undersöka på vilket sätt politiker i Kungsbacka kommun på lokal-, regional- och riksnivåanvänder sig av bloggar, och hur de ser på bloggen som verktyg för att sprida budskap, skapa opinion och ha kontroll över ordet. Studiens frågeställningar är: Hur ser innehållet på bloggarna ut, vad är politikerns syfte med bloggen, och hur ser interaktionen med medborgarna ut på bloggarna.

En ny trend inom internethandeln är företeelsen av så kallade rabatt- och upplevelsesajter. På den svenska marknaden är Groupon marknadsledande rabattsajt samtidigt som LiveIt anses störst inom upplevelseförmedling. Affärskonceptet ? att marknadsföra priserbjudanden eller upplevelser och sedan hänvisa konsumenter vidare till leverantörer ? har tagits efter av en rad aktörer och den nya trenden får antas fortsätta en tid framöver.Det faktum att den aktuella typen av förmedling är relativt ny har lett till en osäkerhet kring vilket ansvar rabatt- och upplevelseföretagen har gentemot konsumenter. Inte sällan använder de sig av varierande affärsupplägg vilket bidragit till ytterligare oklarhet.Det saknas direkt tillämplig tvingande lagstiftning och företagen begränsar ofta, genom mer eller mindre långtgående friskrivningar, sitt civilrättsliga ansvar.Syftet med förevarande uppsats är att undersöka vilket civilrättsligt ansvar som företagen har gentemot konsumenter vid dröjsmål och fel i vara och tjänst.I uppsatsen, som inledningsvis diskuterar innebörden av termerna kollektiv shopping och gruppköp, redogörs för de tre affärsmodeller som det marknadsledande rabattföretaget Groupon använder sig av.

Today`s society requires that municipalities focus must be more on effectivity and quality. Because of this it is important for municipalities to look after the controlling systems. Many municipalities choose to adopt models that reflect the efficacy. The municipality of Vellinge has chosen to implement balanced scorecard in all their efficacies. We found it interesting when it was exposed that 70 % of all implementations of balanced scorecard fails.

During several years we have been able to follow the victories and disappointments of Ludmila Engqvist through the scrutinising eye of the media. This essay will deal with how media?s picture perception of Ludmila Engqvist has changed by analysing articles from the Swedish newspapers Aftonbladet and Expressen from 1996 to 2001. Why and how the media?s picture has changed will be analysed through the perspectives of Ludmila Engqvist being an elite athlete, immigrant and woman.

The first part of this essay is about a single-family house that we have planned and projected. Thesecond part is a deeper study in ways to further insulate windows when they are not in use.In the first part the building?s design and its most important construction elements are described.The planning of all major installations (heating, domestic water, ventilation, sanitation, electricity)are reported so that one can in principle start construction of the house. In addition there arecalculations done on the building?s energy management.The result is a two stored house angled toward the south.

In one of six garbage collectors area in Cairo, Esbet el Nakhl, there's a handicap school run by the Coptic church. We chose to study this school using observations and interviews. The purpose of our thesis has been to describe the school, the goals of the education and the educational forms. The questions we asked our selves before the trip to Cairo were; how does the school look like? What's a garbage collectors area? How do the teachers educate the children? How's the situation for the handicapped children?We spent six days of observations and interviews at the school gathering information for the thesis.

According to a press release from the Swedish forest agency in May 2014, western Värmland has the worst regenerations of forest result in the whole of Sweden. The scarification frequency is low in the area. AB Hilmer Andersson want´s to know if the private forest owners want to scarify more than is done today. Good regeneration is important for private forest owners so they can have a long term forest management and economics of their forests. This academic study is done as an opinion poll. The purpose of the study is to see how big the interest of scarification among the private forest owner is.

In this paper the authors examine three questions: 1) Is stealth marketing messages posing as status updates on Facebook a more effective way of advertising than traditional web banners? 2) What impact has learning about stealth marketing practices in social media on consumer attitude and post purchase behaviour? And finally 3) Will different generations respond differently to these questions?Our findings show that stealth marketing in social media is not more effective than traditional web banners. Furthermore, the result indicates that when consumers find out about stealth marketing practices it will have a negative impact on future purchase intensions and brand image. Most consumers will also have strong feelings of being deceived, which could instigate harmful post purchase behaviour such as negative word-of-mouth and possibly, based on some earlier cases, boycotts.The result of our research shows that the brand perceptions and future purchase intentions of Generation Y, persons between 18 and 30 years of age, are affected in a less negative way than the brand perceptions and future purchase intentions of older generations when finding out about stealth marketing practices in social media. However Generation Y:s reaction is still negative and they do consider traditional web banners to be more credible than status updates on Facebook.

This work was conducted during spring and summer 2012 together with the company Uppsala Academy of Management as the principal. The two main objectives for the work are that: ? Make a comparison between the measured volume in the standing forest and the measured volume at the industry on Uppsala Academy of Managements actual stumpage sale volume to see how well it conforms. ? Examine if the buyers see any particular advantages or disadvantages of actual stumpage sale volume and what they think of Uppsala Academy of Managements actual stumpage sale volume and structure in general. I chose to use actual stumpage sale volume from the tree years 2009, 2010 and 2011 in my work. I divided the actual stumpage sale volume following four categories which was pine, spruce, pine/spruce and seed trees. After that I picked out sixteen actual stumpage sale volumes from each category to be a part of the work.

Många företag idag implementerar fortfarande system som inte stödjer verksamheten i tillräcklig omfattning. Därför har denna undersökning genomförts med två huvudsakliga syften:Att bedriva kravinsamling inför ett labbdatasystemAtt utvärdera de valda teknikerna för kravinsamlingen Kravinsamlingen har genomförts på Expancel Produktkontroll, som är laboratoriet för kvalitetskontroll på Expancel, en kemisk tillverkningsindustri i Sundsvall.De tekniker för kravinsamling som var mest intressanta i denna undersökning var sådana som anses ska skapa större förståelse för verksamheten genom att kravinsamlaren medverkar mer aktivt i verksamheten, här kallad kravinsamling genom ?omvänd användarmedverkan?. De tekniker som användes var deltagande observation och kontextuella intervjuer.
