Purpose: The purpose of this study is to analyze how employees perceive their leader / manager. How the leader / manager perceives himself in relation to employees and what differences exist.Research Method: The information was made through a qualitative approach. The study includes interviews with semi-structured questions and a subjective selection. The authors interviewed seven respondents from a service company. Based on the information the authors have attempted to draw parallels between the leader?s behaviour and theories involving different leadership styles and see how the employees perceive the leader.Conclusions: The employees and the leader have the same ideas about what is a good leadership.

Due to the globalization and the changes in the market, companies have now realized the importance of a strong brand. This has led to the phenomena outsourcing. The relation between the branding consultant and his or her client has changed. Earlier the consultants worked as a single unit and were given a task to independently accomplish the assignment. The purpose of this study is to investigate the way George W. Bush used the language as a means to exercise power in an attempt to justify Operation Iraqi Freedom. The theories used to answer the purpose are discourse analysis and three different moral metaphors that are applied on the data.The collected material for the metaphors is constituted of cognitive linguistic books from prominent linguists, such as George Lakoff, Alan Cruse and William Croft, and the material for the discourse analysis is also collected from prominent discourse analysts such as Michél Foucault and Norman Fairclough. The official White House website provides the material for my data. The scientific method used in this study has been qualitative text analysis where the hermeneutic approach has been an essential part of it.The main question: In what way did George W.

Bakgrund: Oro och ångest är ett återkommande fenomen som kan visa sig hos patienter inför små och stora behandlingar, som operation. Ångest beskrivs som en stark känsla av oro och fruktan med fysiska och psykiska yttringar. Oron och ångesten patienter upplever före operation kan påverka patientens tillstånd och finnas kvar efter operation och ge en försämrad återhämtning. Syftet: Syftet med litteraturöversikten var att beskriva vilka metoder i omvårdnadsarbetet sjuksköterskan utför, som visat sig ha lindrande effekt för patienters preoperativa oro och ångest. Metod: Litteraturöversikten baserades på 15 kvantitativa artiklar som bearbetades genom manifest innehållsanalys.

This study's primary purpose was monitoring of conservancy operation measures. The fixed sections within ekopark Storklinten owned by the forest company Sveaskog. These measures are performed with the purpose of creating and maintaining hardwood forest and mimic natural processes. The sections were divided into different categories depending on the type of measures they were exposed with. The monitoring showed that the purpose of these measures was fulfilled in general.

Det framkommer också att patienten kan ha POUR redan innan operationen startar. Felaktig behandling av POUR kan bli orsak till blåsuttänjning, urinvägsinfektion och kateterrelaterade komplikationer. Därför är det viktigt att det finns ett evidensbaserat förhållningssätt för att förebygga och behandla POUR under pre-, per- och postoperativa perioden. ABSTRACTThe purpose of this c-level essay shall try to illustrate how a good leader is formed. We have investigated what influences leadership style, personal characteristics or individual competence have when recruiting a new manager. This study has been carried out with comparative applications because we wanted to study the similarities and differences between the Unemployment Office, the Social Insurance Office and the Social Welfare Administration.We have used a qualitative method in interviews both with employers as well as the from the trade union representative?s perspective. Part of our results indicates that the trade union representatives and the employers are not always unanimous and do not request equivalent characteristics and knowledge at recruitment.

The purpose of this paper has been to study the relationships and attitudes of a few teachers and librarians as to their co-operation in a combined public and upper secondary school library and to find out what circumstances there may be to exert an influence on their work. The paper has been based upon qualitative interviews with upper secondary school teachers and librarians as well as on studies of literature relating to our issue. We believe there may be different approaches to the learning process, as these are the relations and attitudes of two professions from different trades. That is why our point of departure has been Roger Säljö's theory about learning and, in our analysis, a few of Jean Donham van Deusen's ideas of joint planning and flexible timetabling. All respondents agreed that co-operation could be better, but the teachers were of the opinion that it must not interfere with their time.

The purpose of this thesis was to investigate how the distance between real estate manager and the managed item influenced the real estate management process. The overall real estate management within Lantmännen Fastigheter AB was investigated to give suggestions on how to improve the quality of the real estate management within the company. To do this, questionnaires, interviews and observations was performed within the Lantmännen Fastigheter AB organization. Real estate managers answered questions about their role as real estate manager, maintenance planning, decision processes, leasing and strategies within the company.The analysis of the questionnaires, interviews and observations showed that the real estate managers wants to rearrange their spent working hours around on working tasks to spend more time on the tasks that brings income and spend less time on tasks that are unsatisfying and unnecessary. The analysis also shows in which areas the real estate managers want more support and education and that they mostly work with unplanned maintenance.

Dagens samtida konflikter skiljer sig ganska markant ifrån den typ av krigsföring som vi är vana att se den, exempelvis under andra världskriget där reguljära förband stred mot varandra med de allierade på ena sidan fronten och axelmakterna på den andra. I dagens konflikter är nyttjandet av irreguljära förband vanligt förekommande vilket har lett till att reguljära förband måste strida på helt andra villkor och omständigheter än förut.Under Vietnamkriget startades Operation Fenix i syfte att bemöta denna nya typ av krigsföring och de metoder som användes av den amerikanska underrättelsetjänsten var något som inte hade prövats tidigare. Tyvärr gav dessa metoder inte det underrättelsevärde som det var tänkt till en början men frågan står fortfarande kvar hur dessa metoder påverkade VCIs (Viet Cong Infrastructure)  krigföringsförmåga.Syftet med denna uppsats är att i en fallstudie granska om de metoder som Operation Fenix använde under Vietnamkriget var effektiva gentemot irreguljära styrkor samt om det finns något stöd gentemot dessa metoder i militärteorin.I uppsatsen används en teoriprövande fallstudie där David Galulas teorier implementeras i ett analysverktyg skapat utav de tre pelarna i krigföringsförmågor där varje faktor analyseras och slutligen sammanfogas till resultat till den givna frågeställningen.Denna uppsats visar på att de effekter Operation Fenix hade på de irreguljära moståndarna har ett visst samband med de teorier David Galula skapat gällande Counterinsurgency Warfare..

Att det har hänt väldigt mycket inom idrotten sedan dess start vet vi, men frågan är hur idrotten kommer att utvecklas i framtiden? Ett begrepp som blivit alltmer modernt inom svensk idrott på senare år är Sport management. Med tanke på att management eller sport inte är några nya företeelser så är sport management eller management of sport heller inga nya företeelser. För flera tusen år sedan anordnades matcher och tävlingar som arrangerades av managers. Idag har kommersialiseringen och professionaliseringen ökat och vuxit sig allt starkare inom den nationella idrottssektorn.
