AbstractThe market?s demand to purchase more cost effective products is continuously increasing. The producers are forced to become more efficient and flexible with resources to produce high quality products at a low cost in order to maintain or increase market shares. With this in mind Isaberg Rapid AB is requesting a project to increase efficiency in the assembly cell of hammertackers. The company has found in Kaizen-events that there is a potential of efficiency improvements in the assembly group that has not been achieved.The objective with this paper is to identify the major factors that influence the efficiency in the assembly cell for hammertackers.

The purpose of this paper is to examine how the traditional airlines' strategies are affected by the low-cost carriers emergence and their business model and in wich ways they can achieve profitability. Furthermore we also want to examine the factors that affect the airlines' efficiency and competitiveness.The results of this study shows that the growth of the low-cost carriers have affected the network airlines' strategies as they, among other things, had to also lower their fares. This has forced them to revise their cost and efficiency in their entire operation. The result has also shown that the network companies can not come down to the same level of low costs as the low-cost carriers, and must therefore examine their ability to increase revenues instead. .

Nowadays, cooperation is necessary and this study tries to illuminate the possibilities and problems about cooperation in fiction between 7 small/midsize farms in Skåne. Conventional Farming is done with grain and sugarbeets as specialization. Calculation of machine costs have been done and compared in the study, both for the farms in thorough and the fictitious operation companies. Business ratios as depreciation/ha, interest/ha and maintenance/ha have been calculated. In this essay we present a proposal about how a practical implementation can be done. In the proposal there is an example how the distribution of work can be done.

This report details the development of an application for personal safety for the Android operating system. Android is a relatively new platform, primarily used on mobile phones.The purpose of the developed application is to give the user the possibility to easily and quickly alert a number of contacts by phone in case of emergencies, and to show the user?s location on a map. Bröstcancer är den vanligaste cancerformen hos kvinnan, varje år drabbas ca 7000 kvinnor av bröstcancer. Den vanligaste behandlingsmetoden vid bröstcancer idag är kirurgi. Kvinnans kroppsuppfattning förändras efter behandlingen eftersom det finns både ett ärr kvar i själen och på kroppen som alltid påminner om diagnosen bröstcancer.De kvinnor som genomgår en mastektomi har en möjlighet till en plastikkirurgisk bröstrekonstruktion. Tidigare forskning visar att en bröstrekonstruktion kan hjälpa dessa kvinnor att få ett ökad självförtroende och välbefinnande. Sjuksköterskor har ett ansvar att uppmärksamma patientens behov efter en bröstrekonstruktion och har en viktig roll genom att stödja, informera och öka deras livskvalitet vid återhämtningsprocessen efter operation.

Kustbevakningen och polisen är tvåmyndigheter som samverkar med varandra. Denna samverkan är viktig för att kunna övervaka och beivra brott efter kusten. Kustbevakaren har i dag ett flertal befogenheter men saknar bland annat befogenheter när det gäller ordningsstörning och brottsbalksbrott, det är här samverkan är speciellt viktig. I det här fördjupningsarbetet tittar jag närmare på hur samverkan mellan polis och kustbevakning fungerar samt kommer med förslag på hur samverkan kan förbättras. Fördjupningsarbetet bygger främst på interjuver från polis och kustbevakning.

The purpose of this study is to gain knowledge and a broader understanding for how pre-school teachers describe the importance of planned play environments including in what manner children are given influence. By qualitative interviews with five pre-school teachers from four different units I was able to gather data that shows how the planning process concerning a specific play environment had worked and why it looked as it did. The results show among other things that the pre-school teachers viewed the play environment as a vital part of the daily operation and pointed out that it was of vital importance that it came from the children?s interests. The study begins with an evaluation of the Taif Agreement. After acknowledging its effect on Lebanon?s consociational system the function and operation of Lijphart?s four consociational elements are analyzed.

Eftersök av försvunnen person ? ur hundförarens synvinkel. I arbetet har jag velat lyfta fram hur hundekipage fungerar som resurs vid eftersök av försvunnen person. Jag har försökt beskriva hur hunden används, dels hur hunden själv arbetar men även hur det är att vara hundförare och vad man som hundförare måste tänka på. På ett förhoppningsvis lättfattligt sätt har jag beskrivit MSO-modellen som är den arbetsmodell man utgår från vid eftersök av försvunnen person.

The purpose of this essay was to study social workers´ and polices contributions with criminal youth gangs and get an insight in how co-operation in the contributions between these governments comes to rank and works.To find out, we carried out a study with a qualitative design based on document studies and interviews with social workers´ and polices who were meeting youths in their work.Our findings were that it's hard to define a criminal youth gang. The social workers´ and polices have both individual and common contributions with criminal youth gangs. One of their most important lining is to prevent new recruitment of young people to criminality. The social workers´ and polices both have an intention to cooperate but they can?t agree about the method of work they shall use, ?the kid-glove or the whip?..

During spring 2012, six students at the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm carried out agroup project in the field of mechatronics as part of the thesis for the bachelor degree. The resultwas a robot with active balancing and the purpose of this report is to describe the development,manufacturing and problems that arose during the project. The finished robot has two wheelsmounted in line with each other, like a bicycle. Measurement data from an accelerometer and agyroscope are used together in a complementary filter for determining the angle from the verticalplane. For balancing, a PID controller was used to control the rotation of a reaction wheel, whenaccelerating causes a straightening torque.

Virtual Communities is an increasingly common phenomenon on the Internet. Most of the Virtual Communities are operated and maintained on a non-profit basis with a direction towards entertainment. However, as more state administrated and commercial services become web-based, we believe that the number of Virtual Communities with a community-based or commercial direction will increase in a near future.
